Maya saw a male come out and blinked beneath her hood, not understanding what he meant. She followed him in though, not wanting to appear hostile. Closing the door behind her, she noticed that she was in what appeared to be a car repair shop.
She lowered her hood, shaking her hair free and blinking at the bright light. Walking up to the male, she tilted her head, wondering what he meant by "signing a sheet". Was this some sort of inn as well? Did he want her to fill in a sign-in form?

at first Kerian didnt notice Maya moveing closer, focused on setting the box down and cutting the tape. he caught a flash of long white hair and he jerked his head up, his hand holding the box knife sliping against his other hand. it cut across his palm, a thin red line of blood welling up. murmering a quiet curse he grabbed one of the rags, covering the cut as he looked at Maya. " forgive me, i thought you were someone else." shakeing his head he relaxed again, sighing. she seemed lost, and his protective nature automaticaly pushed into place.
recovering his aloof attitude he gave her a polite lop-sided smile, working his way to the shelf for his first aid kit. " i didnt mean to bother you, miss, but if you need a place to stay you can crash here." he wouldnt make anyone go out in this area alone.. not with the gang wars going on here lately.

Maya's eyes widened when the knife cut him, the smell of his blood wafted through the air. It was intoxicating, her eyes flickered close for a moment. She realized she was thirsty, but she didn't want to feed on him. Not when he kindly allowed her to stay, so she held back her hunger. Walking up to him, she took his injured hand into hers. It was bigger than hers and covered in grease, "Allow me," she thought out to him, "This will be faster and your hands are greasy, it might infect your wound."
Raising her right hand above his, it began to glow a golden hue and his wound healed in an instant. She looked up at him - realizing he was vey tall, compared to her 5' 1" - and smiled, "A thank you for your hospitality."

About to go on land again with hisnew passenger, Wolf was startled when he felt a numbing sharp pain through his chest. He looked down to see a hunter and a crossbow. He shuddered, he couldnt move, which ment he couldnt fly. It felt as though fire was searing through his body.
The two came crashing down, he hoped the child was hanging on. He landed in front of the building with a deafening thud, on account of his gargantiuine size ((around the sze of a small car))
His eyes flashed red and his fur stood on end, he snarled as the hunter approached him but could do nothing, especially with an arrow wedged in between his ribs. He heard a thought transmission from inside, he hoped they wold help. Just then, he didnt care who they were and if they saw him in this form, he clenched his teeth as the hunter camecloser, chuckling.

Maya stumbled as she felt the ground shudder, she looked out releasing the male's hand. Using her seer's eye, she saw a gaint wolf, an arrow between his ribs and a child on his back. Her eyes widened and she flew out the door with amazing speed and stood before the creature, her right arm stretched out behind her. Curling her fingers, the arrow disappeared and the wound began to heal.
"I suggest you try not to listen to me when I speak," she thought out to the giant wolf, and the male in the building. "Cover your ears, and the child's. I will shield you from it, but it may not help much."
Maya looked at the hunter, who had raised his crossbow, and gave an enchanting smile, "Hello, hunter," she said, her voice melodic, yet a powerful mesmer. The hunter dropped his crossbow and stared at her mesmerized, "You will leave this place, won't you?" Maya continued, her voice ringing so clear that even under the shield they could feel the power tugging at them, "And forget about them?" The hunter stared blanky and nodded, "That's good. You may leave now, and do leave your crossbow. You don't want anyone to get hurt." The hunter nodded again, turned and disappeared back into the woods.
Maya turned back to them, lowering the shield, "Are you alright?" she thought out to the wolf.

Samie made a low frightened sound and hid her face against Wolf's fur, small bits of ice forming in her hair. both the hunter and the woman scared her, and she couldnt understand what had happened. tiered she blinked sleepily, looking at Maya with a curious tilt of her head. she had help scare the human away.. and wolf with his hurt. ducking down she waited for wolf to say something, unsure of what he wanted to do.

Instantly Wolfs mental shield flew up, weaker from his wound. Whast ever poison the hunter used was strong and ha seeped into his system. He groweled low and whispered to Samie. ."Cover your ears and hide by me. " He used his body the best he could to shield her srom this womans voice and mind, which he was extremely accomplished at sencing and doing.
When the hunter ran, the giant wolf opened his mouth to speak but found he couldnt. His voice came in a raspy bark. His mind shield cautiously slipped away and all off his thought were terrified. His eyes looked wildly at Maya. He didnt know how e sould explain himself yet. But he and the child needed help. He still wasnt totally sure if he wcould trust Maya, and tried his best to shield the child from her now. He shuddered and a burning chill raked throug his veins, the poison was settling , and either setting him permanetly as a wolf or twisting his mind dangerously.

Maya sensed his panic and stayed where she was, she bit her lip. "Please, I mean you no harm." she thought. "I only want to help you. Is the child alright?"
A frown bagan to mar her face, when she realized something was wrong. "Were you poisoned?" she thought, her panic clear. Ignoring his defense she walked towards him, placing her hand where his wound had been. "Think your answers I will be able to hear them." She frowned and shook her head, "I need to clean out the poison," she looked up at him, smiling softly. "it won't hurt." Her hand began to glow and warmth spread throughout the wolf's body, cleaning it of the poison. The glow began to dissapitate, "There, much better." She thought smiling, she craned her neck to look at the child, "Is she hurt anywhere?"

"Samie okays." she murmered shyly, picking up on the womans movement. she was too young to realize the woman hadnt spoken aloud, liveing as a wolf she could read body language better than she understood human speach. in faulty human she managed. " Wolf hurting..? hunts'an bad human..." pulling herself up she wiggled around his shoulder, cuddleing against his neck as she frowned. curling her hand against Wolf's cheek she frowned, a cute look of determination crossing her face as she focused on her hand. a small layer of ice slid over her palm between her hand in wolf, trying to help cool his hot skin.

Maya smiled at Samie, she opened her mouth to say something. When she realized what she was about to do, she hastily shut it. She didn't want Smaie to fall victim to her mesmer, so she just smiled. "Hello Samie, my name is Maya." she thought to her. "I think Wolf is alright now. You are one brave girl, facing a hunter like that."

"no hum'n hurts my Riki." she murmered, useing the wolf term brother. she was pleased that she had helped, though of course she hadnt... but it still made her happy to think she had. lifting her chin she sniffed, repeating what she had heard her father say a hundred times. " hum'ns are cow-heads.. always fraid of wolfs". she didnt understand the 'cow-heads' part.. but her papa had said it, so to her it made it true.

Maya smiled widely, her laughter ringing clear in everyone's heads. "You're father is a bright man. They are very lucky to have you as a daughter."
She looked over at Kerian, she knew he was human and hoped that he wasn't afraid of them.

Wolf s eyes looked at the woman with a little less suspicion. Yes, they used poison. The child is alright though we did take quite a fall. His head turned slowly to Samie, finding his voice again, he spoke. "Are you alright, niña?" He slipped into his spanish somewhat as he spoke to the child he had strangely grown attached to. Wolfs eyes flashed to the hhuman and he groweled low, out of instinct.

Maya heard Wolf's growl and turned to look at what made him do so. "Oh, do not worry. He will not harm us." She thought to him, "He has kindly invited me to stay here with him. Perhaps he may allow you as well..."

Wolf qieted down and turned his head back to Samie. He considered her as his little sister now. The giant wolf curled himself around her to keep her warm..."I live here...in this factory."
