What Shouyin failed to realize was exactly how Ryugi was able to maintain this without taking charges of energy. If he wanted to just keep throwing stone at Ryugi and melting it, then so be it, but Ryugi's ten turns of charge weren't deminishing. He could hold his current energy level for as long as he needed.
So, Ryugi simply moved towards Shouyin, and let lose with a powerful sword slash, aimed to cut the boy in half. This time, it was a diagonal cut, and came directly out of the wall of stone that Shouyin was aiming at Ryugi. This meant that Shouyin couldn't see the attack coming since his vision was blocked by a rather large wall of stone. Try as he might, Shouyin's rock wasn't going to do a thing to Ryugi.

Blaaah, the rock reformed against Ryugi's flame, so why wouldn't it reform against the strike? The cut would burn against the stone just as Ryugi's aura did, no ground would ever be gained against the stone. And whatever, nothing lasted forever, but we'd already explained Shouyin's situation. This wasn't his own personal supply of element he was continuously expunging in a very strong blast, he was just putting a wall back together as it fell apart.
If there was any logic left in this void, Ryugi would tire first.
Teehee.

Ryugi wasn't releasing anything in a strong blast, that was where Shouyin was making his mistake. But, reguardless of how Ryugi was keeping up his melting area, he arched back up into the sky to attempt something different. He'd let Shouyin play his little games, but sooner or later, he'd have to grow up like everyone else.
In the meantime, Ryugi "Landed" on the ground near Shouyin, the intense heat around him actually allowing him to float off the rocky surface by about an inch. Shouyin could throw as much rock around as he wanted, but Ryugi would continue to move towards him, the rock simply melting and moving aside of him as if it were air. Ryugi provided himself with his own friction by moving the heat around his body, and he moved closer to Shouyin, who apparently was content in flinging his rock around like a schoolboy with a new toy.
((I have plans at a friend's house this evening, so I need to go get ready for that. We'll continue this later.))

WALL + REBUILD = WALL THAT REBUILDS
Ryugi could get as hot as he wanted, but the wall would reform itself as quickly as the fireman burnt it away, creating a stalemate. The man could walk forwards melting the stone as effortlessly as he wanted, but he would gain -no- ground, simple as that.
There was no flinging or throwing of rock, this was just Shou's lil' fort.
NO RYUGIS ALLOWED >=D
OOC: I am so bored of this it isn't funny, but whatever.

Bruce jumped out the sky and headbutted the both of them, then ate whatever magical powers they had so they had no choice but to fight melee.

Moonblade staggered back a bit as he was hit by the blast of heat. He was used to flame and heat attacks, but it didn't make them any less effective. But that wasn't the point.
He prepared himself as the hot swordsman rushed him, no pun intended. He placed his left foot forward, facing him with his left side. The spear was in his right hand, though still pointed at his foe.
However, he wouldn't attempt to strike until the last moment; miscalculating an opponents motive could prove deadly in combat. He could stand the heat for a bit.

Heat, in the proper controlling factors, is malleable, it is weightless, almost impossible to see while it moves unless concentrated, and is soundless, scentless, tasteless, it is a weapon that if harnessed works quite well for any purposes.
The heat wrapping around his arm moved, engulfing his chest and left arm as well, gathering more heat to circulate around his body.
It would cause a pretty decent illusion, as if his chest were roiling on itself, the scar across his abdomen dancing. Only a byproduct, crowdpleaser.
Sliding to a halt his sword would flash quickly. Simple, his blade would begin forms, slashing at the air in front of him, harmless without heat. Each slash released some of the roiling heat around his body, pushing it into an almost tangible blade of heat leaving a nice trail of liquified sand and warm rocks behind. All were aimed at the spearmen, he would slash about 6 times before standing quite still pulling heat in quickly.
waiting, this would be a fight he would enjoy, new opponent, new skills, whole new show.

It was not quite what he expected, but then again he was rarely predicted his opponents actions. Twas a dual edged sword.
After the first heat strike burned into his vulnerable flesh, he began to spin his spear rapidly in front of him. Much like a fan, it would try to disperce the heat away from him, the remainder being built up into his conducitve spear. The rapid spinning was likely to cool of the spear as it span, so there would be little chance of being burned by Dragoonair.
It wasn't exactly a fool proof plan, but it was the best he could think of in such a short amount of time.

Perfect.
He had indeed hit atleast once, and rapid heating would add a bit more to that. Hopefully that spear was a regular one, oak shaft, steel head, it would burn soon. If not oh well.
For now he let heat build, his body was not covered in heat now, the heat was gathering and flowing over his sword much as water would in a stream, slowly the blade began to show visible signs of heat, glowing until it throbbed at a dull red. He still wore his gloves, that and his heat resistance would make the blade seem normal, no burns.
He stood stock still, watching the spearmen, he wanted to get close, that was his specialty, fighting hand to hand or blade to blade, blade to spear in this case but so be it. He waited and watched.

Yikes... don't play with fire unless...
Wincing, he didn't even need to finish his thoughts; his hands were comming along nicely through his fingerless gloves. Tender, hot... even a little raw. That is, if you were a satanic cook, anyways.
He would slowly back away from the swordsmen, as he couldn't afford to let him in this close at this point. Ignoring the fact that his hands felt like they were on fire, he watched as the man built up the heat in his weapon.
He discretly continued to build up his energy; he was going to need it.

Heat has this cool rising effect, as it rises cooler air falls and it continues in a circular pattern for as long as the heat source is present, convection. It also has a visionary effect, as if the body were rippling.
As the heat in front of him grew rapidly his body became fuzzy, indistinct and seemed to fold in on itself multiple times. Useful i guess, but not for what he was about to do. Moving rapidly, quick long strides, blade held low the heat around him growing as it pulled air from around him and brought it close, he continued his strides, closing the gap between the two combatants.
As soon as he got within 10 feet he would slash twice. Once vertically and once more in the same line with the first slash, and all the heat around him would be gone except for the heat rotating slowly around his left arm.
Those two blasts of heat would follow eachother, one to break barriers one to kill what was behind them. They were much more powerful then the first ones, if one of these hit flesh it would burn it crispy very quickly, not something fun, if both hit it was a doubt for survival, they were both coming in at about stomach height on the spearman.

There was no way the man would stay still for that; few who valued there lives in the slightest would. Crouching slightly, he would push off the ground quickly towards his assailant, jumping 30 feet in the air. Unless he were tossing the reminants of a volcano at him, it wasn't likely that the heat blast would reach him up there.
Doing a nice flip in midair, he would land a good ten feet away from the swordsman, facing him. As no good warrior would keep his back to his opponent, there was little to no chance of getting a back attack.
He continued to gather energy, still at an unnoticable level to all but those trained to sense it.
