News like that spreads, though Lore wasn't surrpised that it had, but he nodded thoughtfully. It sounded like the family was spread out, but that was to be expected, she did have a lot of brothers.

"Sounds like most are travelling," he murmured thoughfully.

"From what I can see, yes," Nadya nodded, taking a seat next to Gion again. "But the Sight can be confusing at times, so it's difficult to see exactly where anyone might be. Especially when Elnara was missing the first time ... for a few years I could see that she was at least still in the Four Lands, but ... once she was transported to your world, I could only catch brief glimpses of her, and they were rare indeed. I do not know if this is because of the time difference or the difference in the worlds, but ... I was never so confused before."

She shook her head slowly. "I could not even tell if she was still alive."

Gion put one hand on his wife's arm to comfort her, then turned back to Lore. Still, bad things happen when everyone stays together too long, he signed. It's better that they all drift and meet only occasionally.

Seeker pouted. "Why do you have to go back in already? I want to keep playing!"

She reached out to grab his wrist and tug him away to play, but her hand passed right through and her fingers closed on nothing but air.

"Seeker..."

Daemon sighed the girl was still a child and at times like this he forgot that. Still he shook his head.

"I'm not really here remember? And this is all new to me, so it's very hard to stay out for long periods of time."

"Oh... I think I see now. It would make sense."

Since he knew from reading that political issues could become quite stressful. Even though he had never experienced himself, after all he was a librarian he didn't really need to play politics all that much, and even so it was small minor things. No one's lives in his hands or anything of the sort.

Gion chuckled silently. I'm afraid I might have given you the wrong impression at first, he signed, though he was slightly amused. I apologize. Save for Riordan, and at times Ruel, and rarer still Elrohir, they're all good men.


Seeker was about to try pouting again - since it usually worked so well with her papa - but then Daemon mentioned manifesting. It was a new word to her, and it confused her.

"Man ... i ... fest?" she repeated slowly, her confusion evident in her tone.

"It means..." Daemon tried to explain in a way that would make sense, "To appear, to form in a given place. By saying I manifested here, I appeared and formed here. Since all I am at the moment is the image of what I was before being trapped in the sword. I'm not really here quite yet."

That was the best way he could possibily put it.

"Things... as they say always look green on the other side of the fence," Lore shrugged a bit, "As is life, there is always the set of problems. Though... I think I know what you mean. Though it's mainly guesses I'm afraid from a lot of the history reading I had done. Even though it is a difference place, time and world all together, the problems of leadership I think... are still the same."

In that you couldn't please everyone, there would always be people who don't agree, or who can't look at the bigger picture. There were marriage problems, political problems, lineage problems... the list sort of went on. Even in a world where there weren't many countries that had a full out monarchy, there were still political issues both large and small. Which made Lore grateful he never had to play even acemdemic politics seriously.
