Looking up from his work Neko cracked a smile. "Heal? Huh, really? You?" He obviously didn't believe it as he chuckled slightly. "You don't seem the type to be that talented. As for your other comment Yuki needs a good lashing now and again." Done with his stitching Neko playfully slapped Yuki on the cheek figuring that would only piss him off.
"C...can you make Yuki better?" Mitsu's soft voice carried from the corner as she stepped toward Hanse. Neko would be able to help but if Hanse could really do what he said he could Yuki would be much better off. As for a reason to help Mitsu couldn't think of anything to give. She really didn't own anything and Neko and Yuki held all the money she had been given. "Please help?"
"Don't waste your time," Neko spat as he put his stuff away. "He probably can't do s**t, he's all talk."

As Poke ran down one hallway the guards were not far behind though when they hit the cross section they stopped as Suto came into view from the hallway at their right.
"What are you idiots doing?" He had apparently went to visit Poke's cell and now held the plate of food she had failed to touch.
"W...we're following after the girl, Sir."
"Ah, I see. And why exactly are you doing that?"
"Be....cause she........escaped?" One man said sheepishly.
Chuckling with amusement Suto poked around the sandwich on the plate. "Well then, you are as useless as you look if you can't keep one small girl in line." Turning toward the hallway Poke had just ran down Suto tilted his head the smile never wavering from his face. "So where has my little mouse gone to?"
Without another word he strolled down the hall calmly waving for the men to stay where they were. If anything they would only get in the way.

Poke had heard the guards stop running and so she stopped herself, her chest heaving with all the effort. She feel to her knees for a second, breathing and trying to listen in on what they said, as well as keeping an eye out for any guards coming her way. By the sounds of it, that lab guy seemed more pleased the annoyed at her escape. Either he didn't care about losing another experiment, or he was quite confident she couldn't escape. It was not a comforting thought. It was then she spoted the man from before some ways behind her, and her eyes widened with shock and fear. Crap! if he darts me again I'm done for! With no hesitation she got to her feet again and sprinted as fast as she could go. She needed to get out. Right now. Please let this be the way to the exit... she pleaded in her mind.

For now, Shun was a little too far away to have heard Suto or the guards. He just saw Poke fall to her knees before getting up and running like mad the moment she saw him. Not that he could really blame her, seeing how she wanted out of here most likely.
"Heh," he started while remaining where he stood. From the way he was standing, he really didn't have any intention of attempting to slow or stop her right now. And quite frankly, he wasn't really obliged to do so.
"Idiot. You're running the wrong way."
Looks like she got out randomly. Suto must really suck at this. Or at least his watchdogs do. I gotta wonder if how many people have gotten out like this.

She came to a tumbeling stop when he heard him. "What?!" she ran back to him, for a second forgetting the fact it was his fault he was here in the first place. "Which is the right way??" She asked again, and looked behind. She could faintly see the guy in the white coat walking towards them. "Hurry up and tell me, please!"

Suto chuckled his voice carrying down the hall as he spoke. "No need to be so afraid Miss Mouse." He continued to approach slowly finally eating the sandwich Poke had not touched. "This is really good, you should have tried it yourself." Once he was within fifteen feet or so he stopped and looked at Shun and Poke. He didn't seem distressed about her escape nor did he ask Shun for assistance. "I don't know where you expect to go when you leave here. You have no idea how far away you really are from where you were." He took another big bite of the sandwich, purposely savoring it before he continued.
"You're nearly half way across the continent in a frozen wasteland. You are no doubt hungry and your body has used up more than its far share of energy from shivering and all this meaningless running you've been doing. If you were to leave now...do you honestly think you will survive? The closest civilization to here is Galloway city, and as you may know, the humans in the main cities aren't exactly fond of animal hybrids."
Finishing off the sandwich Suto looked at Poke with a soft smile. "You can do what you wish, but if you would at least like a warm meal and shelter from the sub-zero temperatures outside, I would suggest you follow me. I also have some questions about my dear Mitsu." Leaving Poke to her decision, Suto turned and started to walk down the hall. More than likely if Poke left she would only collapse from hunger and the cold not far from here so it would be simple to collect her and bring her back. It did amaze him how much stamina she had, the fin tribe were surely still a mystery to him.

"And why should I tell you?" Shun muttered in reply, "As far as I'm concerned, you can keep on running around without a clue where you're going."
Glancing up, he saw Suto approaching them, and still he did nothing. The guy didn't seem all too worried about Poke's antics at the moment, but he gave his reasons as to why that was. It was quite true as well; even if she managed to find her way out, she wouldn't be likely to survive on her own.
The assassin watched as the scientist walk on off before turning his attention back to the fin girl.

When suto approached, poke had immedately backed up, assuming he was going to try something. As he ate the sandwhich, she regreted her dision to ignore the food from before and tried not to think about punching his lights out as he ate it in front of her. Then he told her exactly were they were. Poke could have slapped herself in that instant. I should have known! . And he was defantely right about her physical state. The only thing that was keeping her going was the fact that, even if he did promise warm food, she would have to give up her freedom for it. The most shocking thing, was when he mentioned his "dear mitsu". "How do you now about mitsu?!" she called out, but he had already walked off.
Poke was now in a dilema. She could either stay here and never get to see any of her friends again, being tortured, or she could go outside and die of hypothermia and starvation. The food she stuffed in her pocket would proably only keep of her hunger pains for a little while. She then remembered shuns earlier reply, and then just glared at him. Of course he's not gonna give a dam. Proably gets a kick out of seeing people in pain. Wonder how much ge got p-
"...say...Why did you bring me here in the first place?" she asked him carefully.

Listening to Poke and seeing her glare at him, Shun just narrowed his eyes some. At the question, he scoffed some while leaning against the wall a bit.
"Because Suto hired me to. Not my usual thing, but I gotta make a living one way or another."
For a moment, he watched her a little more, wondering what she was going to do now. Considering she was in a lose-lose situation, with either end being rather harsh, he felt a little bit of sympathy towards her. But he ignored it. It wouldn't do him much good to get morality in the way of his job after all.
"So are you just going to stand there and look angry and distressed?"

"...I thought as much.." poke mumbled, turning away for a second in thought. It appeared to be that this guy didn't really care what would happen to anyone other them himself. If he did, then he would have tried to stop her from escaping again. And if he was this kind of person, perhaps he could be persuaded. Using the right leavage of course...
Turning around, she faced the man again. "This may sound like a odd request coming from the person whom you kidnapped.." she started. "But perhaps I can give you a reason to help me out. How about you get me out of here to somewhere safe, and I'll pay you for it".

At first, Shun just raised an eyebrow at her proposal. It wasn't exactly what he was expecting to hear out of her, but he supposed it showed she was at least trying to think about what her possible options were. And it amused him nonetheless.
"Heh. You? Pay me more than Suto? I doubt it. And I have a number of jobs to do here still. Besides, I'm no bodyguard."
Shrugging, he turned away somewhat, as if he was about to walk down one of the ends of the hall.
"Speaking of which, I need to restock on supplies. Have fun in this Hellish place."

Poke figued he would refuse. It wasn't as if she had any money in the first place. However she did have one more idea up her sleeve...
"Oh well, suit yourself.." poke said in a mock sigh. " I didn't think you'd be into pilaging sunken merchant ships or finding mother of pearls. It's more easier to get some guy to give you a set pay for a few jobs, then your on your way to your next job, which you have no guarentee of knowing where and when that will be. And I suppose you wouldn't be interested in a unlimited suppy of food anyway."
This was quite the bluff, since she had no idea were she would find such oysters or sunken ships (they were far away from the sea as it was), and she wasn't pretty sure that any river here would be frozen, but it was worth a shot.

Glancing over towards her, with a semi-intrigued look. It sounded interesting alright, but Shun had his reasons for not jumping on this boat right off the bat.
"Look. I'm not a treasure hunter. I'm an assassin. Jobs are what I do. Kidnapping already isn't really my forte, but that's what I gotta work with right now. Nice try, but no."
Looking back and away from Poke, he uttered under his breath, hopefully softly enough for her to not hear, "Not like I could swim anyway."

Poke just made a face at his comment. "you prefer to shank people instead of kidnapping them?" Walking a little closer, she was able to hear his little mumbeling, and her eyes glittered. "I could teach you?" she pointed out. "Or, make sure you don't drown if you have to cross any rivers."

"It's what I was trained to do," he said with a bit of a shrug.
For a moment, his eyes widened a bit, but Shun soon narrowed his eyes and stepped back and away from Poke. He must have been thinking out loud with that one little comment he made about swimming. So, gritting his teeth he shook his head and glared at the half fin.
"Or just leave me in the middle of the deep end to drown. Why the hell would I trust you? Or you trust me for that matter. I killed your friend and I took you here! Before long, the rest of your mismatched gang will join you too for that matter."

Well, that seemed to hit a nerve.
Without warning, poke pushed shun into the wall and held the front of his shirt, looking quite pissed off.
"Now listen here you!" she snapped. "I'm fully aware of what you did to neko and yuki, and I never said I trusted you. I'd love nothing more then to beat the crap out of you for the pain you put everyone else through!" She paused to take a few breaths, then continued. " However, if I do then there will be no one to help me, and I'll proably die here, stuck on a table with half my guts thrown about the place." By now she was starting to breathe more heavily. "Or even worse, have my body changed into some weird monster and watching all my other friends be tortured the same way!" By now she had let him go and taken a few steps back, sitting on the floor now and trying to get her head to stop spinning. She realised now that she couldn't remember the last time when she had something to drink, and this was usualy a bad thing for someone who was afinated with water. "s**t, if I don't find some liquid soon I'm gonna pass out.." she mumbled, for a minute forgetting that shun was still there.
"by the way, you wouldn't have to worry about me pulling of a move like that. I'm not as much of a a*****e as you are.."
