If she bitches at me for not doing it today, I'll just point out to her how much nicer it's going to be tomorrow. I think mowing when it's 75 with less than 50% humidity beats the hell out of an 85 degree day with about 100% humidity. Bleh.
Today makes me feel like swamp thing. gonk

Lady Pyre Wolffy000 Sirius Silverstar I can't waaaait for the Golden Compass movie. Been a big fan of the His Dark Materials books since I was like, 12. I didn't realize it was a book originally until my friend told me. Still, it looks interesting. I kind of want to see it. I knew it was a series, and I've been meaning to read it for a while... But all I can find are these massive omnibus editions. I hate those unweildy things. scream The Golden Compass [also called "Northern Lights" for some reason, THE ORIGINAL TITLE WAS BETTER] is the first and best one... I can even mail it to you if you'd like. heart The world created in that book is freaking epic and amaaazing!

I got so excited when I saw they were making Golden Compass into a movie. I've never read the books, but I've always wanted to.
...I've been meaning to buy them for forever and a half, but somehow I always get distracted by other books.
And they can't be serious - Robert Jordan is terminally ill??? o.o I know we always laughed about how the series was so long that he'd die before he finished it, but I never really thought that could actually happen. Poor man, I hope he doesn't. Talk about unfinished business.

I say not at all, but that's my honest opinion. Oh, ******** it all. I'm so ******** tired of these damn headaches.
