Shadow took his pack back and lit a cig. He leaned into the back of his chair and looked Maxine up and down. There was obviously much more to her than met the eye and that had caught Shadow's curiosity. A smile crept across his face as he took a very long draw from his cig. "You definatly are a strange one. Filled with unknown potential and knowladge. I am glad you stubled across us." Shadow said, his intrest in Maxine had just increased from what he had learnt but the fact she might be cursed part had him more than just a little worried. He had been cursed before and wouldn't wish it upon anyone.

Shadow was in a very relaxed mood tonight, that mood was hightened due to the plesant company. He took another draw from his cig and then stood up, exhaling the smoke as he did. He looked to Maxines eyes for a moment then smiled as he dropped his gaze and took the final draw from hsi cig before snubbing it out in an ashtray.

"Verry much so." Shadow said in responce. She resealed his bottle of blood and put it back in his drawer, befor eclosing it he retrieved a signet ring from it and then closed the drawer. He put the ring in his pocket and then looked to Maxine, "How about you? Are you enjoying yourself?"

Shadow thought for a moment. He felt the silence slowly creeping in and didn't want it too, mainly because things ended up a little awkward with silence. "So, what do you know of your heratige?" He said out of the blue, it was the first thing that came to mind and he was determined not to let the silence take hold.

Shadow nodded, "Alright, I do have extensive records on alot of things. If it is not in here it will probably located in the manors library. We have just about everything here." Shadow said as he took his seat once more. "You do have quite a mixed blood line.... background. Very diverse." Shadow said with a smile, he was trying to make that a complament but he didn't know how it came out.

Shadow was glad that his complament was seen as one. He then looked down to the book that she was flipping through. He seen it as nothing terribly important, he always kept his more dangerous tomes locked ayway or hidden behind other books on his shelf. "Intresting read?" Shadow asked as he looked to Maxine. "You wanna go for a walk or something?" he added a few second later.

Shadow stood and led Maxien out of the crypt, sealing the doors behind them. "The gardens?" Shadow asked as he slowly started walking in thier general direction. There where alot of places to wander around on the mansions grounds. Some were safter than others and the gardens where by far the safest.
