It must be an after effect of subconsciously trying to take down half of Kapow.
But hey, if people forgave Ted for killing Wally...
It's just a matter of time I'm sure. Though this kind of things doesn't help his case.

FACT. I did NOT create the Cyberdome or it's Artificial Intelligences. FACT. They are of a technology that is outside of the scope of my own dimension. FACT. Their core program seems to be similar to or based on COMPUTO's.
