Shadow kept using the same explanation saying that the "chaos" would overflow the atoms in my weapons and make them melt.

My counter was that I had made the metal myself using alchemy and mterialization and that the power(energy/chaos/magic etc etc) capacity that it can absorb is enourmous, and was done using a bit of magic with the process.

Does that not make sense as a defense? Since I said they took almost all of the chaos in before they began to melt.

Because he insists that using that bit of fantasy and magic to expand the capacity is just trying to explain a way out and he is tying in real physics to all the magical parts.

What do you all think? Does it make sense as a defense to use a metal like that?

(I use the Harry Potter example where they expanded the inside of the car without changing the outside at all.)

All of Shadow's attacks are based on Thermodynamics. I'm really not sure how it works, so I cannot say...

Ah, okay. I see what you mean now. That's not impossible or improbable. I will say from experience it is still difficult, especially against a backhand, or reverse dagger, style. But if you step in soon enough, you can simply grab the pommel right as he's bringing it up to slash so his arm would be stuck in mid-swing. That requires a hell of a lot of speed and technique though, but it is probable. Overall, I still think you have him out-maneuvered with that thrust. It's damn clean.

@Deity: Yeah, basic concepts of ki tinkered here and there. I agree, it can be suppressed, silenced, redirected, absorbed, or what-have-you, but I want more explanation from whoever tries it other than "anti-magic field where nothing supernatural can occur."

Usually in his opening post, he already has a chaos attack charged up. He'd get to you before his skulls crushed stare

Plus, he is somehow allowed to use chaos control, which I thought was a theoretical type of teleportation...he can teleport away from Scizzor probably domokun

Which is why I don't care much about it missing. Hell even if he had blocked my weapon as I expected him to, sweeping his left arm up and across his face I would have let him go with it and just turned the thrust into a punch to his face with improvised nuckle dusters.

But because he didn't and tried his little move, well he's dead if he keeps close. Which makes this even more absurd is the fact that my character has a gimp leg.



Who are we killing now? And Genome seems to be in on the idea. Oh, and I got my fleet panned out, just need names and history for most of the larger ships along with captains.

Zangoose is faster then scizor,Plus more adapt to the elements.

Bewl! Look at it! It's jumping like in typical, 3rd-rate anime episodes! Scizor would fly up to that fat little b*****d, rip the tip of his claw over it's stomach and tear it open - and fly back before it could even say it's name like some weirdass animal call.
