I usually stick to the Fashion & Style subforum, myself. This is my one and only guild.
LI just tries my patience. Some of the topics are so out-there, I hope that they're just trolls. gonk

This guild does have a lot of angst and fighting latley. I like the LI of the gd but I find that it's hard to find a good topic and most of the time I don't belive the people that post everyday with things that happen in there life.

"Oh, I only went there to watch the incest trolls get bashed, really. . ." said Reiku, absentmindedly. She started drawing in the air as she continued listening and conversing, "I haven't visited the Fashion and Style subforum as of yet. . . I do stray into the comic creators subforum on occasion. . . As far as guilds go, this is one of my 2 or 4 actually active guilds. . ."

The bad advice given in LI gets on my nerves. I've seen soo much bullshit targeted at people asking about sexuality, it's just mind-blowing.
Granted, there's similar BS up for grabs in F&S. Some girl was all, "Well, I can't dress that way because I'm a lesbian, so I have a rattail haircut," etc, etc.
Pfft. Nothing like embracing stereotypes.
I've got half a mind to go edumacate some hicks in the Sex Change thread here in the guild. Probably a lost cause.

Reiku laughed nervously, "I mostly just post in this thread." She rubbed the back of her head, "I'm bi, but I dress however I want. I'm probably considered an outcast, but I'm actually quite charismatic. which reminds me, I want my tie back now. . ."

I don't think there's anything at all wrong with dressing butch or whatever, if that's what floats someone's boat. I just think it's ridiculous to do so for the sole purpose of trying to look the way people expect a lesbian to look.
I'm a lesbian, and I dress fairly girly, and it's never posed a problem. ^^
Ties are cute, I have a black tie that I wear with a white pinstripe blouse and a skirt, I love it. <3 It was my grandfather's.

Reiku smiled, "I really like ties." "The one I'm wearing is one that my friend Jackie gave me a few days ago. It's black with skulls and cross bones on it. It goes good with most of my black outfits."

Eh, I think I may be bi but I'm not too sure. I catch myself looking at girls the odd time same goes for guys but that's because most guys in my school are unattractive. Yeah I hate those posers, or people who dress to fit a sterotype. scream

"I have a girlfriend right now, but I'm unintentionally quite fascinated by this guy in my Drawing 1 class." said Reiku, shaking her head. "I look pretty much how people expect me to look, what else should they expect, it's me. I'm enigmatic."

Oh, that sounds cute. A punky tie is a nice way to add a bit of edge to an other-wise conservative outfit.
...I've clearly been spending way too much time in that subforum. xd
@Inmate: Yeah, I had NO idea that I was anything other than straight 'til I was like, 18. It just...never occured to me that I wasn't an upstanding heterosexual. I was around Tae since I was a kid, and was there with him for the whole coming-out thing, and I've always been pro-gay rights. But for myself? Hah. Anyway, I fell for this one girl and whoosh! "So THAT'S what it feels like to actually be completely attracted to someone!"
I think it's normal for girls to notice other girls, and not necessarily an indication of your sexuality. Depending on your age, it could just be hormones, too. =) Or, you could be bisexual, hard to say.
Oh, the joys of sexuality!

"Yes, I quite like my tie. It goes nicely with my black and purple hair." laughed Reiku.

My hair's just plain black for the time being, for work. I'm sure I could dye it, but until I'm good and settled, I'm keeping it a normal colour. Black isn't my natural colour, but everyone seems to like it better than my natural brown colour. blaugh I loved the pink I had before, but it fades.

"Mine was supposed to be plain black. . . But the cheap dye I bought turned the rest purple. . . It used to be black and blood red, then it was black and blond, and now black and purple. . . Blond's my natural hair color. . ."
