Ah, yes. Heroes. That was mentioned earlier. Imho, one of the better series of the last few years. I think it even tops Battlestar Galactica...or SGA/SG1 but that's just space heman anyway. (I still like the mythology parts, though) I wanna see season two...
Edit: Waah waah wah? Like in that Ghosttown song? razz

Heckz yes "like in the Ghosttown song". cool
Heroes and Dexter are fantastic series...
The former is just all-around great; elements of comedy, nice effects, a large variation of characters and an enthralling plot...
The latter because of Dexter, and the mystery throughout. Dexter is one of my all-time favorite characters in all of television. whee So selfish, stoic, ironic, insane, and at the same time he displays a slowly slowly developing sense of affection and empathy.

Kinda! Only, Dexter has a complete lack of emotions at first. All he knows is the thrill of the kill and whatnot. A better comparison would be to a robot that's trying to grasp human emotion. In the beginning, he fakes almost every aspect of his life. From the girlfriend he pretends to care about to the parents he pretends to mourn.
Dexter is about a vigilante serial killer that channels his ravenous hunger for death into a relatively beneficial action for society. He stalks all the criminals that slip through the cracks of the justice system, then hacks 'em open and dumps 'em in the ocean. In this show, two wrongs make a right.

Ah, your description makes it sound worthy to watch. The Wikipedia article made it look like some sort of CSI-Series... I'm not a big fan of those... razz

It does have CSI aspects, but it's mostly focused around Dexter's inner turmoil, and the trouble of leading a normal life without emotions and an insatiable obsession for blood.
