He took a side step off of the fire escape, landing in a kneel with his back turned, his head gently looking at Meph as his body shifted, standing up and looking up at him with a shrug, the van turning with a skid into the street, the ticking stopping as the driver disarmed the explosives with a relieved sigh.
"I'm sure, Meph."

"a**." he said merely, turning and motioning to the van. It drove off, he picked up the rifle and tossed it to a guy who walked past the alleyway at that time, catching it like it was a timed thing. Sae walked in the other direction, loving being born to a rich Succubus' family.
He pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and put it to his mouth, savoring it for all it was worth.

she had watched the fight from the rooftop and smiled. She laid down to the rooftop and watched quinn walk and smile slightly.

Arceli looks at the outfit her human friend had brought over for her, "Sailor... Style"
"Yeah it's brilliant! you know I said you looked japanese with your new hair and everything well I saw this and I had to buy it for you"
"School... Uniform..." Arceli was amased by it, "you bought me a sailor style school uniform... because I straitened my hair..." she shakes her head, "You're crazy... who actually wears these things?"

Neko had stopped by a bench, sitting on it and looking rather dejected. She held a hand, more like drapped it, over her left eye, knowing it was different. Kage was also perplexed by this development. Neither knew what was going on, and that scared them.
"What are we going to do?" Neko asked, staring up into the sky as rained poured down onto the city.

His hand took down the cigarette from his supple lips, his lashes batting with the rain, it obviously not phasing him that there was a constant difference in what the weather should be. Hell, it was the time to rain, but this much, no. As Sae walked on, his hands were free of all items, he held nothing but the cigarette. The Colt was strapped to his belt and the Long Sword was at his side, the vest under his clothing.
Seeing someone in the middle of the rain a few meters ahead, he took a drag from the cigarette and stepped out onto the street, a truck speeding by and forcing him to step back.
He continued on and walked toward the bench regardless.

The truck splashed water onto Neko as it speeded by, but she didn't care. She was already soaked to the bone, her umbrella long since lost. Her clothes were clinging wetly to her almost like a second skin, and her hair was also dripping and sticking to her. She had taken off her shoes and had attached them to her belt so that she wouldn't loose them. Her tails and ears were also soaking, and her were angled down against the rain.
Are you sure it's not an Illusion?
If it was, one, I would have had to guide you through it, and two, me Illusioning myself would be like me trying to tickle myself. It can't be done. God....what's happening to us?
She was so wrapped up in her thoughts she didn't even notice the person coming towards her.

He took a drag of the cigarette and stopped in front of the girl, not really recognizing her, though she was a bit familiar. Smiling down to her, the rain heavy and drowning out his voice, he placed out his hand, the one without the cigarette.
"You seem a bit lost, or confused, need some help?" he asked, his voice raised only enough to get past the echo of rain drizzling down in Regailing Taunts of Liquid Tears.

Now that he had brought attention to himself, Neko was fully aware of Sae. She blinked and sat up, one hand still over her left eye as she looked at the Incubus/Sucubus in front of her. "Back again are you?" She asked. "You're looking a lot better than the last time I saw you."

"Mm...yes, last time I was actually saving your hide, though, or at least from some fate." he said, leaning back and relaxing his shoulders. "What was all that about, anyway?" he narrowed his eyes, thunder and lightning in the background, darkening his figure and sillouetting him.

Just him being his usual self, trying to rope me into his schemes. He'll regret trying to use me." She was now angry, her free hand clenched into a fist.
