Mu nodded her head in agreement "Trust me Hebal you're really not missing out on much in the demon world. The place is a total dump. But most children get over it when they grow up and learn control. Though I dont think many demons are that bothered about coming here to pair up. We're not exactly... partner material for most of the world" she snickered.
"Despite being a minority group here, theres still a lot of frowning upon should you choose someone that isn't a demon to be your partner.There some pretty close minded demons still" Awessi remarked having been watching some of the fireworks being set off.
Hebal rolled her eyes almost missing the carbuncle shape explode into various shades of red "Well some demons are up themselves its true but others are nice enough. But you guys have big oceans and trees and lots of things this world needs. The only think your missing out on I think is pretty flowers"
Amane mumbled a small "oooh" pleased with the effect "Well it would be nice if he was one of the first but I don't have a clue which temple carbuncle is at so it might be a long journey if we're that determined to be one of my first ever summons hehe. And don't be sad Runide, if I get a cute summon that doesn't look tastey I'll let you play with them" she offered detecting a small sigh.

Satoshi grinned idly playing with Gil's fingers while she nodded along to the familiar tune of the music "Well yes many would say that based both on yiour build and your fame. Probably your wallet size too should you splash the cash a little bit while here. But at least here, unlike Kunec we've got some privacy fromall the annoying jornalists"
"Hitomi is a big fan of the festival" Hitomi answered for herself with a small giggle "And I saw one of those magazines with you two in Kunec. Was actually really funny because they were convinced you were some kind of super model or small time royaly. It's funny how people can jump to the wrong conclusions about ninja ladies"

Gil chuckled "Small royalty eh? Clearly other people recognise your beauty and grace then" he said leaning forward slightly to try and see the first things on the parade "Though yeah privacy is a welcome though normally it's not a problem" he said.
Jeckhart shook his head "I think this world has plenty of beauty in it I doubt that many regret leaving their homeland assuming they lived there before the war" he said applauding the latest firework.
Zadina giggled "I doubt Runide could eat a summon even if she wanted" he said petting Runide "But yeah it'll be a great trip though I'm sure you can ask someone at your temple for the location of it" he said.

Mu raused her eyebrow hearing Jeckharts answer "So... what about yourself Jeckhart because right now its starting to sound like you've got someone in mind. All this talk of finding nicer partners in this world and how beautiful some of the things in this world and you look a bit young to have been born in the demon world to compare. Got someone back home we should all know about back home?" she teased.
Hebal tutted seeing the build up the the finale starting with several fireworks exploding into the shape of dragons figthing eachother "Now don't be mean, this world has lots of pretty stuff like he said. One of the prettiest places I've ever been to is Yithra, where Felina comes from with giant flowers and sprites everywhere.
Runide's ears perked up siddenly "I'm not silly enough to try and eat the great carbuncle but I do know where his temple is cause I've been there before with these guys. Carbuncle is with the elves somewhere in Mineerin" she remembered emitting a small purr.
Amane's own ears twitched in response "Oh really? Well thats pretty cool even if Mineerin is at the other side of the world to my village you must write down for us all the temples you have seen sometime Runide. It would be very helpful" she smiled rewarding the demon with an ear rub.

Satoshi shuffled forward catching the front of the parade slowly heading towards them in the form of a giant dragon "Or it could just be that they are playing with the whole stereotype of you saving some princess/maiden from some kind of evil like in a fairytale. Then again I did use one of my more well mannered clones" she pondered feeling her cheeks going slightly red.
Ranmaru rolled his eyes glad he hadnt seen the magazines in question "That or they are mistaking you for your mother, well I hope for your sake all those things die down or some new scandal comes to light fast because othewise they are going to get annoying for you I'm sure"

Gil smiled stroking Satoshi's face as the dragon moved ever closer "Good thing too otherwise that interview could've been messed up but I certainly hope they didn't mix you up with your mother, that's poor journalism there plus I'm not sure how well I'd come off in that situation" he said.
Jeckhart shook his head blushing slightly "That's not the case miss Mu I'm just saying what I've heard I was brought into this world when I was but a chick so I hardly remember the demon world." he said
Zadina's sighed happy to hear the purr "That's a lovely sound you make Runide but your fireworks show is really pretty" he said joining in the applause as the show began to finish "Though I'm certain when you are ready to set off they'll point you in the right direction a bit Miss Amane" he said

Mu snickered sensing Jeckhart's blushing "Well theres still time for things like that aswll then. Left the demon world when I was really young too but I still have a good few memories of where I live and theres one or two things I miss about it. Like the big red sky and pruple rivers. Competly different set of colours to here"
"I left the demon world when I was around Zadina's age physically.They used to tell some pretty creative horror stories about the residents of this world during the war not surprisngly. Made a pretty nice surprise for me when I actually got sent here and released from prison. Despite the not so great initial treatment I wouldn't be in a hurry to go back" Awessi nodded agreeing with Jeckhart trying to ignore Hebals loud cheering at the fireworks next to them completely distracted by the finale.
Amane laughed applauding with the rest of the people "Uhuh your purring sounds quite nice. I like you cat demons because you make nice sounds and aren't too threatening. But I guess my elders will give me a map with a list of known temples on and then set me on my way when I finally become a summoner. I think your uncle would be more helpful."
Runide let out a small confused mew "Umm thanks I think but it's not really that nice a sound I don't think. Personally I think the best sound ever is food when it sizzles or the sound my sister singing. She's really good at it unlike me"

Satoshi shuddered at the thought "Oh dear god know I doubt that because mums a lot older looking than me and has bigger... assets. That interview was pretty intense but I managed to make a good bit of gil off it by advertising the clothes I said Hebal and Zadina could sell during the tournament. A good 50k or so"
Hitomi gasped turning her head towards Satoshi "You made that much, just from selling your dresses.Thats really cool you know and you either sold a lot or had some really luxurious clothing on sale" she told her impressed.
Ranmaru smiled letting out a low whistle "Nice move so long as you don't become too famous to do proper ninja work. Keep it up though and you'll probably be allowed to leave the village permanenly the amounts that your starting to pay into this place" he encouraged.

Gil chuckled "Probably helped that Zadina can resize things with his magic and Hebal is probably an attractive draw to the shop knowing how many cultures think Viera are quite nice" he said pausing as the big dragon float passed close by casting an orange glow over the surrounding crowd from the lights "Though I certainly wouldn't object to you leaving permanently though you'll need to make a lot more dresses since I think you lost a fair few there" he said.
Jeckhart nodded "Well the show was certainly nice, much nicer than I'd expected from a circus performance considering how much it would cost for all those fireworks" he said shivering slightly in the cold night air.
Zadina nodded "I bet your sister sounds lovely when singing but yes cats are popular pets in this world because they are really cute and make very pleasing noises" he explained to Runide "Though yeah you could ask my uncle if he's not too busy for some help" he said

Awessi frowned a little hurt by Jeckharts comment "Hey we're a circus. Why wouldn't it be anything but nice. If we put on a bad show then we wouldn't get any customers and besides these people paid good money so its a nice opportunity to give them a bonus and have a little fun ourselves"
"oh the fireworks are made on site by Runide's father. Does a lot of the special effects and techinal parts of the show. Really clever little cat demon with a few hard working assistants. Probably had some good teachers when Runide''s family lived in Goug" Mu praised.
Runide gasped alarmed at the thought of pets "But isn't that a bit mean keeping them as pets I know I wouldn't like to be cooped up with an apparent owner all day. But really my sister is terrible and wails away into the night until other members of the crew complain about it"
Amane giggled imagining a cat meowing on a roof "Well cats are always looked after and not as independent as their more... evolved cat demon relatives so you'll be ok. And if your uncle is vusy we'll have to keep pestering him until he isn't busy"

Ranmaru tutted "Don't be like that Gil, give the girl some credit she can make clothes that appeal to many different types of shapes and races. Takes more than an attractive woman to draw people in. Especially when 99% of the customers are going to be the same gender as her" he pointed out giving Satoshi a pat on the shoulder "But if you leave permanently theres going to be a big hole for a while in this team"
Satoshi smiled nodding her head "I'm sure thats true but hehe it doesn't work that way in Kunec when only a small population of gria are male so the females look more to eachother. Thanks for the support though and I'm sure you'll be fine. Seem to be doing good now" she added turning her attention to the dancers between the first two floats.

Gil nodded snuggling Satoshi "I know her clothes are fine, just saying it helps but Zadina meaning they could essentially make every dress fit is pretty handy too" he said bobbing his head slightly to the music.
Jeckhart shook his head "I presumed this was a private show for your own performers seeing how most people would rather be home tucking their children into bed at this hour for tomorrow, plus I think it's impressive how many fireworks you have for the finances considering it's probably the equivalent of a small town's display" he said glancing at Mu "Though yes I guess having someone who can make fireworks easily would help" he said looking over at the little cat demon "Must be irritating getting gunpowder in your fur though"
Zadina snickered "Sure, it's the Dragon Festival so he must have a little time, but not all cats are kept as pets get plenty of wild ones, but people take good care of the cats giving them big beds and pillows and toys and food and hugs" he said petting Runide to calm her before joining in with the applause for the show "And many people let their cats go out when they want" he added trying to ease Runide's worries.

Mu laughed shaking her head "Oh not really surprisingly. The male cat demons seem a lot less worried about what gets in their fur than the female ones. Its not that they don't take pride in their appearence, its just they can be very hands on and like to get stuck into things thinking about dirt later. But he managed to do all that while working on our show so I doubt hes been resting much for weeks"
Awessi paused finishing off the applause "The dragon festival is a good time to earn some extra money and get some good publicity at the same time but it will be now be time for people to leave which means I'll be moving onto security now. So if you don't mind I shall take my leave for now" he explained before appearing to dissolve into thin air leaving a small mumble from Mu about how she hated that habit of his.
Hebal scratched her ear confused a little "If demons teleporting looks like that then its soo weird. But that cat demon must be crazy to not mind being covered in gunpowder because its one of the worst smells ever in the world and its hard to wash off for days"
Runide rolled her eyes still not completely impressed "Well I don't need someone to buy me toys and give me pillows. I can find them myself and my mum is very good at giving hugsand my bed is almost ten times the size as me cause they were made for bigger demons to be able to use".
Amane smiled "Well that sounds good but he might be busy with the baby instead but no harm in trying and..." she trailed off detecting a faint fizzing from the direction in which Awessi had teleported from "Well that was weird, some kind of demon magic maybe?" she pondered.

Ranmaru scratched his head thinking a moment while applausing various dragon costumes marching along behind the next float "Well if there was an order system then they could be made/modified to fit all anyway. Just would take a little more time and a little more cash to set up. And I'm sure your costume will be better"
"Well guys theres no need to plan all this. I'm not sure I would even enjoy making custome dresses on request to various people and besides. My dream is to be a well known artist and not a dress maker so I probably wouldn't be motivated in that sense either" Satoshi sighed thinking it was an unlikely goal to achieve.

Gil smiled stroking Satoshi's hair "I'm sure you just need to get your paintings a bit more out there, they are pretty good though shouldn't knock your dress making skills after all I'm sure some would call fashion a kind of art as well" he said.
Jeckhart nodded "I agree it would be horrible plus a terrible fire hazard for anything with fur" he said not really being bothered by Awessi's disappearing act "However it is very late, I think we should take a leaf from the captain's book and see about getting the little ones and ourselves to bed" he said glancing at Alpha before wondering where Runide's parents were.
Zadina shook his head "The baby isn't even born yet and it probably was, though teleporting is nothing special, it falls under the white and time magic schools, if I had my book with me I could probably do it" he said checking on Merric who had dozed off in his robes "But that's good to know Runide" he said kneeling down to pet the cat demon "You must be a very lucky cat to have such nice parents" he said sweetly.
