Iunno what I want to buy from the update. ); Kinda want one of those tl;dr hats, but ya know... I suppose I could sell one of the letters I've been saving, but depends on how much I'd get for it... anywho.

I cannuh go to Kara as:

A) I'm rocking mostly pvp gear which is no good for teh raids ):
B) Not in an uber large guild so I don't have access to a regular grouping of people which leads to-
C) It's hard for me to get a party for anything as I'm a balance drood and no one wants balance in their group. ):

Balance druids are basically the mages in the druid grouping. They focus on dishing out magic based damage against targets. While they're mainly dps, I see em more as support casters to other magic dps classes, especially mages.

Balance gets a form that produces an aura that increases spell critical strike ratings by 5% so that's a plus to any mage. Also, it's nice to have a class that can quickly switch to off healing should the need arise. They can kinda tank since they get a 400% increase to armor in moonkin form, but that's only with the proper gear and right talent speccing.

The main draw is that balance druids bring burst damage to a group which have earned us the titles of "boomkins". We're capable of matching the raw damage power of any other spellcasters in the game. Our main problem is our lack of mana endurance which means we can't keep up that damage for as long as the other classes. Also, we're notorious for being able to draw aggro quickly. Those two aren't much of a problem for me as I have a few points in the resto tree that allows for mana regeneration while casting AND allows for a good deal of threat reduction. My only real problem is that I lack useful crowd control techniques. ):

Balance druids also get jipped in terms of gear. It's freaking HARD for me to find gear for my druid that's accessible without doing heroics. Most druid gear is tailored to the resto or feral tree which is why I'm stuck using pvp gear even though I'm not supposed to be. :/ I'll stop talking about teh balance droods now. xD Typed a lot.

Edit: Well, maybe a bit more. That's all relating to PvE situations. Now, in PvP... we can kick some teeth in. PvP matches are usually short so mana endurance isn't a problem there. Threat reduction? Peh, right. I used to be more PvP specced and I could crush some people, lemme tell ya. Some classes are exceptionally hard for me to beat like Sub rogues. However, if I'm left unchecked in PvP, I can pick off targets one by one which usually is the case.
