Awessi shrugged "Well maybe there is but demons and seeq I'm sure have very different views on what makes things seen as attractive. Mu's father for example, was probably quite popular amongst a lot of female demons when he was younger and yet you claim he looks scary. But if I had to single a bunch of demons out, theres a lot of disgusting looking slug demons out there" he added swapping places with Hebal.
Hebal smiled rounding the young ones into a hug "yaaay now its time to get one with me too. Good for the family album if you ask me" she cheered striking a pose hoping the others would soon follow "Push the big silver button down at the photo will take"
Amane giggled at Runide who let out a surprised mew caught completely off guard by Hebal's surprise hug "pssst mum does that a lot. You'll get used to it" she whispered before linking arms with Hebal "So they are similar to bangaa then? They kinda look like lizard pigs to me" she then whispered to Zadina.

Ranmaru nodded his head "Oh I know that but, they have a way to go from experience and their pompoms dont do them any favours either. And then moogles are fairly good natured... fortunatley" he mumbled snickering at Hitomi's gasping at the fireworks.
"Well Bahamut probably looked at the treasure and thought to himself that it wasnt really valuble enough to hoard. Years or being tettorised by a big nasty dragon god probably left the people pretty poor and without anything shiny to show him. It's a nice little fairy tale though so don't spoil it and I'll show you a picture of him when we get back since I painted a few one year" Satoshi grinned

Gil nodded "Sounds a nice enough story for your village to have guess a lot of places have forgotten that meaning behind it" he said applauding as the fireworks came to an end with what appeared to be bahumut raining little golden sparkles down on the village. "Wouldn't a fireworks display like this give away the position of your secret village?" he asked.
Zadina giggled joining in the pose "Well I'd say they are closer to lizards but I don't know if they have any sort of biological relationship to Seeq but remember they be people like you and me too so we should be polite to them even if they look funny." he said

Hebal nodded "Yeah and besides, the seeq may not be the prettiest things on the planet but all the ones I met were very nice and at one point while travelling around I even had a little following of them after some of my armour" she told them surprised to see Awessi working the camera with no problems not having caught on she had been miming her.
Runide scrached her head in one photo then shouted a loud "Feeeeesh" on cue from Hebal with her mouth wide open and her tongue hanging out "So what about me or any of us guys, are we funny looking too?" she asked curiously but quick to break out of pose.
Amane shook her head petting Runide "Nope you don't look all that funny to me. Im fuzzy too and I think you look really cute and are probably going to get lots of hugs over the festival. And some demons look interesting I guess also"

Satoshi snickered shaking her head "Nope the village is fine. We're ninja, masters of stealth and illusion and I'll tell you now unless you know the enterences the only way to get in here would be scaling down the cliffs. And anyone going that way won't be able to see this because we have a nice little illusion that hides anyting coming from below the cliffs whic includes the fireworks spurting out" she explained.
Takeo nodded "Think of it like someone put a giant blanket over us thats camouflaged in with the rest of the cliffs. We had to do something to avoid airships randomly spotting us from above afterall. But... the story of the dragon festival varies from place to place for bahamut appears in many a legend"

Gil nodded "Ok figured you would have something to protect you from stuff like that though don't know why you need to put the lights out at night if you have a jutsu that can hide fireworks from the outside still that was quite a nice show" he said snuggling Satoshi as Enkidu let out a slight yawn on Satoshi's lap.
Zadina paused thinking "Well the clowns looked funny but I'm sure some other demons will look funny too much in the same way any race can look funny to another but when will the big firework show begin?" he asked looking back at his firework eagerly.

Runide laughed shaking her head at Zadina "Well thats just silly now, clowns are meant to be funny so they shouldn't count" she pointed out sitting herself down impatiently.
Awessi scratched his head handing back the camera to Hebal "there you go, though you know this thing has a zoom function? And if we're all ready to go then you guys can stand back and i'll send the signal. Once everyone else is also ready they will be off in a flash" he informed them indicating to a white line of string indicating where they should stand.
Hebal mumbled a small ohh not really knowing what Awessi ment about zooming "Thanks for letting me know. I picked a firework too and I'm already to set mine off and fiill the sky with rainbows so lets jump into positions" she cheered snatching the photo out the camera "Hehe we look good in this pic."
Amane tilted her head and reached up getting herself a peak at the photo "Ok yeah I do look really nice and hehe Runide looks so cute" she remarked grabbing the picture and showing Zadina "Yeah we're all ready now so send your signal Mr Awessi" she added faiing to notice Alpha ahd mu had rejoined the, behind the line.

Satoshi glanced down watching Enkidu curiously for a moment "Well you'll see for yourself what it looks like from above because I was planning on taking you around the outside of the village sometime and maybe show you where I like to go to just chill out and paint things"
"Its a nice view, surprised you've not done any landscape drawings of it despite all the time you spend up there" Ranmaru stated standing up a moment to stretch his legs "Good exercise too as its not easy to get to"
Hitomi frowned looking around "Heey how come Gil and Ranmaru get to see this really cool place and I've never been taken there to have a look myself" she pouted.

Gil nodded "Sounds like a nice thing though I agree you should try landscaping sometime, could prove a new challenge for you" he said glancing back at Hitomi with a smile "And relax Hitomi it's hardly like you can't go there any time you please just on the outskirts of your village after all" he said.
Zadina nodded in agreement "Yes it's a very nice photograph still it's almost time for the fireworks" he said excitedly barely containing a small hop as he spun to look up at the sky in readiness.

Awessi paused checking everyone one was in place before waving his arm at the other demons standing down the line with their fireworks "Ahh well it would appear we're ready to set our lot off now and then the rest will be left to the professionals down at the special effects area to make a good finale" he shrugged joining them at a safe distence once the fuse was lit.
Runide nodded almost staring at the fuse "Yeah thats right, everyone loves to be inbn on the fireworks but nobody can put on a better show with them than my dad cause hes the best at making things look pretty around here" she boasted.
Mu snickered croching down and playfully pulled Runide into a hug knowing it would catch her off guard and tickle her "Now now be modest, your dad is very good at your work its true but no need to show off" she tutted releasing the cat demon from her grasp. "Having fun I take it?"
Amane nodded tryingnot to make a small squeal at Runide's mews "Yeah I'm having fun but excuse me a moment.. I'll talk more in a second." she trailed off putting her fingers in her ears as she braced heself for the moment the first set of fireworks would go off in a matter of seconds.

Satoshi smiled but shook her head "Oh no I couldn't do landscape. Well I could I guess but I prefer to draw people and anything that takes my eye. It's kind of boring staring for ages at landscapes to paint even if it is scenic" she answered getting out a small notepad with the odd doodle on "Some of these fireworks for example would be good to work with on somewhat relatred note" she pondered.
Hitomi laughed scratching her head "Always keen to get into something arty even when you should be spending extra time with your boyfriend." she tutted taking the small book away from her. "

Gil chuckled "Well could draw me in the landscape but don't be so cruel Hitomi" he said using one of his spare hands to retrieve it "She does fine for me though you'd be hard pressed to sketch fireworks fast enough, maybe if we got a photograph of them it'd be ok" he said unfolding his arms to stretch as Enkidu got up thinking they were leaving.
Zadina giggled "Little cat demons can be so cute can't they?" he whispered to Amane while hopping on his toes excitedly for the fireworks before helping Amane block her ears slightly with his own hands realising she couldn't hear him anyway.

Hebal giggled patting Amane's head before slipping a small set of ear plugs into her hands "Here take these, my spare pair. It should block out most of the fireworks and if people are willing to talk a little louder you'll still be able to hear them ok" she grinned watching the first set of fireworks go off "Look for the pink and yellow swirly one because thats mine!"
Amane paused looking at the ear plugs confused for a moment while her mother helped put them in properly "Oh these sort of work and I think I see it, and that one up there is mine see?" she cheered pointing out her tree shape until she burst out laughing listening to Runide shouting various sound effect noises as each firework went off. "

Satoshi snickered and resisted the urge to pull a face at Hitomi "Well if you are willing to stand in a nice pose for a few hours and manage to do so without getting bored then sure I'll draw you in a landscape and put Enkidu in too. As for the fireworks, a quick sketch with a few colours would work as I can use my memory she answered noting her companions confused somewhat as to what was meant by a photograph.
"A photograph... is that to do with that camera thing you were talking about before. That would be effective in giving you something easier to work with" Ranmaru nodded to himself making a note to investigate the devices at a later date.

Gil smirked "Yeah they come out of cameras, see they could be useful for espionage things especially if you want to take some information back to your superiors" he suggested noting everyone cheering from the bar below "I take it that's the dragon festival then?" he asked
Zadina giggled at Runide before jumping slightly at the sound of the fireworks and quickly dampening the sound with a spell "Ouch well they are super loud it's a good thing you got ear muffs too" he said reaching out to scratch Runide behind the ear as she cheered unaware Jeckhart had rejoined the group behind them.
