Awessi sighed lowering his hand not surprised by Zadina's reaction "Would you feel more comfortable if I were to change into a form more familiar to you?" he offered floating slightly closer to the ground in case he was about to obtain a set of legs. "Though I am curious as to how you got a camera. Its a moogle invention, very rare to find, hard to make and worth maybe a million each"
Amane shrugged gesturing for Hebal to come join her a moment "I dunno, I just know that they have a camera and its awesome... hey mum, get a picture of us all together so we can show everyone the fireworks we made when back home" she requested.
Hebal nodded her head and giggled an ok seeing Runide quickly hide from Awessi at the sight of the clunky camera "Heheh thats funny, a circus performer afraid to have her picture taken and its cute too, so gather round and strike a pose if you want in" she added making a note to sneak the cat demon into the shot.

Satoshi nodded "Probably amongst her village but she is a good kid so I hope they are nice to her. On the other hand there will be some places where summoners will be swamped with attention and highly respected. Mostly with the elves and the nu mou cultures but still. I'm sure that will at least be a nice experience" she guessed trying to put a positive spin on that situation.
"Well the king of the elves is a summoner is he not? Which means that elves would have to be pretty careful about their treatment towards summoners I would guess. Apparently he once passed through one of the nearby towns looking for temples but that was centuries ago" Hitomi added on leaning forwards sensing the finale coming up.

Gil shrugged "Sure I guess they might though there's not really any country dedicated to summoning as far as I know, Elves prefer conventional magic I think" he said smiling as the fireworks lit up the sky giving Satoshi a small kiss on the cheek and putting a hand inside his clothes feeling for something "Hmm must have left my camera on the airship, shame" he said returning his attention to the skies
Zadina giggled moving into position "It's ok Mr Awessi, Captain Alpha can be equally scary when he wants" he said as he settled beside Amane "Though I'm not sure where we got it from but it's an interesting little device" he said smiling for the camera.

Amane tilted her head not sure whether or not it was ready to strike a post "Come on Runide, the camera isn't scary I promise and you can be in the shot too Mr Awessi" she encouraged gesturing to them to join. "Hey mum how did you get the camera?"
Awessi nodded patting Runide behind the ears but also giving her a gentle push into camera sight "Well if your sure but hopefully one day you will learn not to fear our kind so much. But if you insist I'll participate in this too" he added louder than the mumbled previous sentence.
Hebal shrugged thinking back a moment "I dunno, this guy had the camera and Mari started shouting at him for following us and taking pictures of our friends and she scared him so much he dropped the camera and we kept it hehehe Now you are all together. Say Chocobo!" she called waiting a moment before taking the shot with a bright flash. "ooh Im sorry I didn't mean to frighten you" she frowned watching Runide let out a loud frightened mew and run back behind Awessi confused by the flashing.

Satoshi raised her eyebrow surprised "I never realised that you had a camera though I guess you dont always exactly have time to take photos of nice things on missions. But never mind you'll just have to remember this moment as best as possible and maybe one day we'll do it again. Also I think you just confused everyone" she added with a smirk listening to her team mates debating amongst themselves about what a camera actually was and what it did.

Gil nodded "Yeah another gift from their R&D department I guess though sure it's pretty enough right now yeah" he said sighing happily "Though I guess your friends don't know much about modern moogle tech" he said giving them a bemused look before returning his attention to the fireworks
Zadina sighed going to give Runide a small hug "It's all right Awessi, it's not a bad thing it just takes a little picture of you real quickly like a painting" he said "Come show her the picture Miss Hebal" he said petting Runide's head in an attempt to calm her down.

Amane gasped bouncing over and throwing her arms around Runide "Aww please don't be scared its not a bad flash and it hasn't done anything bad or scary I promise" she assured her nervously petting her ear hoping she would be ok with it. "But sorry I scared you, I'll buy you a fish to make up for it" sometime I promise" she aded moving aside for Hebal
"Hey hey don't worry loookie and see for yourself. Whos that cute little kittie demon caught in mid air hehehe. Maybe if you allow us to do another one now we can get a nice shot of you not looking so frightened" Hebal suggested letting Runide hold the photo.
Runide hesitated looking at the photo but crouched down choosing to continue scratching her back ear by herself useing her back legs "Oh um I think I see but thats really odd. Do the pictures move? And if theres a fish involved I suppose I could maybe try another one" she added licking her lips choosing to ignore Awessi's teasing my mimicing her reaction.

Satoshi shook her head "we're a long way off from anywhere populated with moogles and while they are friendly enough their sky cities mean that they unintentionally isolate themselves from most of the world except for the gria. Plus theres no word for camera in our language or a word you would often here"
"Umm so what exactly is a camera. Is it a weapon or food or is it an item of clothing" Hitomi asked going through each suggestion that she Takeo and Ranmaru had debated amongst themselves.

Gil grinned shaking his head "Well no it's neither of those things, it's a tool it instantly takes a picture of something, like an instant painting except it's a real image as if from an eyeball instead of paint and much faster than a real painting" he explained to Hitomi turning back to Satoshi "Surprised your ninja's aren't keeping an ear out for modern technology, sure there's plenty of tools they could make use of, like that little Gria that was a secret agent back in Kunec" he said.
Zadina shook his head "No the pictures don't move but I bet you could get a really pretty picture if you didn't panic" he said giggling "Though I bet you'd do about anythign for a fish knowing how much you love it." he said

Runide gasped and shook her head at Zadina "nah uh I wouldn't do some stuff for a fish. I wouldn't lick a slimy seeq or wear earmuffs or eat a toad for the sake of a fish" she argued sticking her tongue out at him before taking a good look at the photo "Well I'll try another one of those. But only because I look so silly in that picture and I don't wanna look silly in front of everyone" she decided giving the photo to Amane to hold.
Hebal giggled amused by Runide's scratching "I wish I was that flexible when I felt itchy hehe or my life would be a lot easier sometimes. But gather round again and I'll take another photo ok and nothing bas will happen just watch for the flash" she encouraged.
Amane nodded "Yeah and give your best grin you can for the camera, like imagine that big juicy fish I'm going to give you while we take the picture. If the pictures could move though it would be so cool. Bet theres a magic spell somewhere that can do it"
Awessi snickered shaking his head "Don't encourage her too much or she'll be drooling all over the place when the picture is taken" he joked moving behind everyone else more than aware he was the tallest of them all.

Satoshi shrugged "Well isnt it obvious, with all the training and jutsu we have we haven't needed to adapt to need to accept new technology. The old ways are still highly effective and incredibly low budget if done properly" she explained "Now if you look at the fireworks its telling us the story of the dragon festival. See there we have Kaizā" she added pointing out the giant dragon appearing to be breathing fire down towards the crowd for a moment.
Ranmaru puased watching the fireworks a moment "Yep nice fireworks but a nice plot twist every now and then would make the story a little more intersting sometimes. But can you really picture moogles even wanting to sell their technology to ninja honestly" he aseked Gil

Gil nodded spotting it in the sky "I've never actually known any story to be associated with the Dragon festival other than the great dragon giving presents to good girls and boys" he said glancing at Ranmaru "Well Moogles like to remain a relatively neutral entity, exception being the Gria, so they can supply whoever they like with tech if they can afford it but with their recording devices and gadgetry advances the moogle agent might replace the ninja as the prime espionage and assassination troop if you aren't careful" he teased with a chuckle.
Zadina scratched his head in thought "I'd heard Seeq were rather rough skinned than slimy but oh well we'll see if you can enjoy this second photograph" he said moving into position "Though if there is a spell that makes pictures move it's still to be developed I think" he said putting on a nice smile for the camera.

"Well I wouldn't want to lick a seeq either no offence to them Seeq..." Awessi trailed off watching Hebal carefully as the second photo was taken with a loud "Say Feeeesh" coming from Hebal just before the flash "Hmm want to switch places there Miss? I think I can work your camera and i'm sure you wouldn't say no to a nice holiday picture with your daughter" he offered.
Hebal grinned knowing that there would soon be a picture of Runide sticking her tongue out at the camera and also not having considered the idea of having her photo taken as well "That would be really good Mr.Awessi I would love that if your sure you can work the camera but give it a moment.... there its ready to use again" she answered once the picture slid out the bottom of the device.
Runide scratched her head surprised it was over so quickly "Yeah seeq are all slimy and wrinkly and funny looking. Plus they talk really funny and are somewhat rude. Or at least by demon standards and culture according to my mum cause seeq and demons don't get along. Not sure I would like a bangaa either because the snout looks slimey"
Amane shook her head "I'm sure the bangaa are fine, they seem ok to me though I have no idea what a seeq is. Sounds like some kind of spicy food to me" she mumbled feeling a little silly but perked up a little at the sudden glomp from her mother.

Ranmaru shook his head "Nah it wouldn't replace us. Nice technology is all very well and good but espionage is about the person,knowing when to time things properly, when to pull out and being able to adapt. And no offence to the moodles but they dont have the patience for it, they are always so active and could never sit for days doing nothing but watching your target. They would go crazy" he smirked.
Satoshi snickered seeing a confused Hitomi "Oh the story of the dragon festival is a whole lot different here. More to do with one dragon most commonly known as Bahamut managing to defeat an evil dragon god named Kaizā who wanted all humans to serve him in a nutshell. And the gifting came from when all the people tried to gift Bahamut to thank him only to be told to give it to someone you cared about instead of him" she eplained.

Gil smirked "If you say so" knowing moogles had developed a sniper division "Though it can be dangerous to make presumptions like that about a race" he said turning his attention back to Satoshi "And that's awful nice of Bahumut though most dragon's I've seen love to keep their treasure stashed away" he said.
Zadina chuckled "I'm sure there's some demons that look uglier than Seeq out there since you are such a varied bunch but no Amane a Seeq is a race of large plump......" he paused thinking of a way to describe them "sort of pig-like people they live on this continent in the south wetter marsh areas" he explained
