Her apartment was finally finished. The furniture arranged, everything put away nicely, even the walls repainted. She stepped back to admire her work, nodding in approval. Walking into the bedroom she had chosen for herself she went into the wardrobe and pulled out a pair of tight black jeans and a black leather halter top. Getting dressed, she ran her fingers over the three claw-looking scars that came around her side with a soft sigh. Fastening her belt on and sliding her magnums into the holsters, she grabbed her trench coat as she walked out the door and down the stairs, heading towards the city.

Running up to her apartment, she slammed the door behind her, yelling out in a frustrated rage. The thought of her family, which she had been trying to put behind her since that night, overwhelmed her. She wanted to scream, to run, or something until she didnt have ay energy left. More than anything, she just wanted to memories to go away. They haunted her. Her sleep. Her every waking thought. They consumed her.
Throwing her trench coat to the side, soaking wet, she walked into one of the other bedrooms that she ad turned into a workout room and began punching a punching bag ferociously. With every image on her mangled family that came into her mind she used that energy to knock the bag around even harder. She couldnt think straight as a blind rage consumed her, the rest of the world gone as she only focused on the images and her fists as they contacted the bag.

Stirring in bed, she groaned as she sat up. She couldnt remember how she got here. The last thing she remembered was that she was taking out her frustrations on the punching bag in the other room. Her muscles ached from the rough abuse the night before as she stood, limping over to the bathroom. The cramp had gotten worse than earlier in her calf. Turning on the shower, she let the water get hot while she undressed, running her hand back through her bangs to get them out of her face.
After a few moments, she stepped into the shower, drawing the sliding glass door shut behind her. Steam immediately exploded onto the glass, fogging it up almost instantaneously. She stood, facing the water, simply letting the hot water wash over her body. Closing her eyes, she stuck her face under the water for a moment before pulling it back, her eyes opening quickly. Quickly, she finished washing her body and hair, then turned teh water off and opened the glass door, wrapping a towel around herself as she stepped onto the tile, a puddle of water forming at her feet.
Running her fingers through her hair she headed into the bedroom and towards the wardrobe. Simply pulling out a pair of black leather pants and a tight black shirt, she dressed, pulling on a pair of black boots that went up to the middle of her calf. Lacing them, she pulled the pants legs down over the boots, the ends still almost dragging the ground. Standing, she walked into the kitchen, grabbing a box of cereal, a bowl, spoon, and the milk, sitting down at the table. Breakfast was a rareity for her to eat, so she quickly ate a bowl of cereal before clearing the table and reaching into a drawer, pulling out a box of silver nitrate bullets she had made herself a while ago and an empty magazine.
By the light of the lamp above the table, she began to load the bullets into the clip, filling it up and setting it to the side. After filling 6 if them, she set the box of bullets back in the drawer and took the full magazines, walking back into the bedroom. One of her mags was on the nightstand, the other was under her pillow. Taking both of them, she grabbed her belt, fastening the straps around her thighs after clipping the belt on, and then stuck the new clips in the drawer on the nightstand. Looking out the window at the still falling rain, a soft sigh escaped her as she stood, walking out of her apartment.

Eyes heavy as she walked up to her apartment, she fished around in her pockets for the keys to her door on the way up the stairs. However, as she drew closer to her door she found that it was already ajar. Instinctively, her steps slowed down as she drew her right magnum from its holster, the dull black metal gleaming in the light of the hallway as she neared her door. Her back facing the wall, her held the gun with a steady hand at her side.
A faint rustling noise followed by what sounded like glass breaking came from the apartment, a few low whispers as well drifted across the otherwise silent building. She drew quiet breaths as she suddenly whipped around the corner, firing a single round at one of three shadowed figures. As the first figure crumpled to the ground, the other two darted towards the windows, but she quickly reacted. Moving her outstretched hand that held the gun to the left and right, she fired three rounds at each of them. The second creature fell to the ground, shot twice in the back, however, the third one escaped through the window, leaping over the fire escape and out of sight.
Turning, she flipped on the lights to the apartment, adrenaline pumping through her which caused her exhaustion to momentarily disappear. Convulsing violently on the ground were two men, obviously vampires by their enlongated fangs, and sickly pale skin. The first one looked about 30 with shaggy brown hair and crystal blue eyes. He was slightly attractive, muscular in build, wearing a sleeves black tank top and black jeans. A tatoo on his upper right bicep that read "Sangre" was really the only splash of color on him besides his eyes. The other looked to be quite a bit younger, possibly around 16 or 17. He was a stockier kid, with a round face, and hair died blue that was spiked up in a mohawk.
Sangre had begun to try and get up, dragging himself towards the window as well as he tried to struggle to his feet. However, she simply walked calmly over to him, loading a fresh clip in her magnum and shoved her foot down on his back which sent him back to the floor. Without any hesitation, she fired off 7 rounds into the vampire. His body slipped to the floor, limp as she turned to face Chubby. However, he wasnt there. A soft grin twitched at the corners of her mouth as she began taking nonchalant steps through the apartment, letting ehr magnum drop to the floor, "...oops..." she said outloud, a smug grin creeping over her lips. She knew that he wouldnt leave without his buddy.
As she slowly made her way through the apartment, she drew a slender dagger from a sheath on her thigh, running her finger along the blade. Suddenly, she whirled around, the blade contacting wtih Chubby in the head. She drew her face in close to his, which seemed frozen in a shocked stupor, and growled, ripping the blade from his head. As he fell to the floor, also lifeless, she walked into the kitchen, throwing her dagger in the sink to wash off later. Picking up the phone, she dialed a number, and waited for a few rings. The harder part would be getting the bodies out fo her apartment and the blood out of the carpet.
(( and im off to work...later ))

She smiled at the man at the counter as she walked upstairs, fishing for her eyes as she ascended the stairs. Finally finding them, she opened her door, walked in and shut it behind her. The dead bodies were gone, thank god, and there was a small note for her on the counter. She ignored it, walking into her bedroom and drawing the shades. The lights were already dim in the apartment, not that she minded. Quickly, she undressed, and walked towards the wardrobe.
Reaching into the back of the wardrobe, she pulled out her hunter attire, and quickyl dressed. Clipping her belt on, and strapping the holsters to her thighs, she grabbed several clips of ammunition, and put them in a pouch which she also strapped to her belt. Looking at herself in the full length body mirror, she simply sighed slightly, pulling her hair back into a messy bun. On her way out of the door she grabbed her trench coat, sliding it on as she walked down the steps and into the street, heading towards the park.

**after a visit to central park, Nox walked back to her and Neko's apartment**
She went into her room, and flopped down on her bed, and read a book, and waited untill Neko came home.

As she lay on her bed...she just started thinking about things...her mom..why she was here....she sighed....and wondered if she could ever really belong. The breeze blowing in from her open window calmed her a little. She closed her eyes and eventually fell asleep.

Stepping through the doors and out of the rain outside, she shook her head as she immediately headed for the stairs. She looked at no one on her path, but simply stared at the ground. It was all she could do to make it up the flights of stairs without simply falling over. However, she managed, and found herself at her own door within seconds.
Walking through the door, she locked it behind her, stretching as she flipped the lights on. tossing her keys into a small basket near the door, she headed into the bedroom, taking her belt off and setting it on a hook by the bed. Walking into the adjacent bathroom, she turned on the shower, letting the water warm up while she walked back to the bedroom, undressing as she went. She didnt bother collecting her clothes, simply let them fall to the floor and stay there. After a few moments, she stepping back into the shower, letting the water wash over her. It was soothing, and caused another wave of drowsiness to sweep over her.
After washing her hair and body, she wrapped a towel around herself and headed to the bed. By now she was so tired that she could hardly stand, and it was this reason that simply caused her to fall onto the bed, grabbing one of the top covers and twisting it around so that it was covering her. She didnt bother turning off the lights in the other rooms, instead just turned over so that she was facing the window, moonlight streaking across her figure. With a sigh of content, she slipped into a soft sleep.

After a few hours of sleep she began to stir, the dim light of the sun as it broke sparsely through the dark rain clouds outside. It spidered its way across the room for an instant. A groan was heard as she rolled over in bed, throwing one arm over ehr face to block out the momentary barrage of light. However, when she looked at the clock, she grunted, getting ut of bed and walking over to the wardrobe. Quickly dressing, she grabbed her belt and holsters heading and walked towards the door, grabbing a bagel as she walked out through the kitchen. Shutting the door behind her, she walked out into the city.
