Liam nodded to Dream, they would definitely have to leave right away. "I wouldn't stop you, I would just join you," he said, taking his hand away from Dream's shoulder, "But where do we go now, if we want to steer clear of violence?" he asked curiously, his head tilting to the side slightly like a dog would do.

"As far from here as possible," Leila said in reply to Liam's question. "But it would mean leaving the humans here to suffer under their mercy...or lack thereof." Leila was down on one knee, catching her breath for a bit. "The more we have, the better. If we could find some way to surround them with those who can use light and holy powers, we might have a chance to get away from here unscathed, as well as allow even a number of humans to get away from this place..."

Kihaku hesitated a moment, feeling something odd coursing through her body. It wasn't painful though, more like...something she had felt before and it was a welcome feeling. But now wasn't the time to concentrate on that; she would think about it later. She glanced at the others, then down at the ones that were trying to attack them. "I'm not sure if you could call my powers Holy or Light, but as you can see, I'm fairly good at creating barriers. One as large as you're suggesting though would cost me." She fisted her hands in her pockets, before looking to Dream. "You're a healer right?"

Dream nodded. "My strongest ability, and the first I ever discovered. But I can also use light, though not as well as Holly. But I also use a weapon which uses light as its main attacking force. So you can decide what you want me to do. If you need a healer, I'm ready for the job." He paused, thinking of ideas. "If you're planning to make a huge barrier, I can give you the energy to keep it going."

"It's not a matter of energy, more really a matter of keeping me consious." She smiled slightly, somewhat amused by the ideas coursing through her mind. "You see, for such a huge shield, it would likely be fairly thin. Wait, that came out wrong. It would be thin, but it would still work...only, I would be taking a majority of the more powerful attacks unto myself. Hence the need of a healer."

He thought about this, and nodded. "I can make it so that you barely even feel the attacks in the first place. Pain will be decreased 100-fold, and last only for a split second. I am yours to command." With that, he lit his right index finger with a solitary blue healing spark. "Ready."

Nodding, she stood straight and let her arms hang loosely by her side, before bowing her head and closing her eyes. Soon she began to speak, the words coming quicker and quicker until eventually, it was almost impossible to discern an individual word. After a few moments, a transparent, dark blue light began to emenate from her body, before bursting forward and surrounding the all the people in the surrounding areas, as well as the ones gathered around her. Another minute or two passed and when her head snapped up, the first thing you noticed was the fact that the only thing visible in her eyes was a dark blue the same color as the barrier, covering the entire eye, even the whites. From this point on, unless someone were to touch her, she would be unreachable.

Liam kept a straight face as Dream mentioned Holy Powers, even though he very much wanted to frown. The bandage on his neck began to itch even more unbearably than it had been, but he dare not do anything to loosen the bandage. If it came down to it, and there were no other choices, he knew he might have to... No. Not again. The bandage was staying on.
Liam watched, almost in awe, as Kihaku's barrier found it's place. It was brilliant, surely enough to strain a girl like Kihaku. He turned away, facing where the building stood in ruins. The dust and debri would be clearing soon, and he was sure that Violet and the others wouldn't miss a large, dark blue barrier. He planted his bare feet on the ground and gripped his scythe in both hands, getting ready for anything that might come their way. He could feel the cat's claws digging into his bare back and shoulder, knowing he'd be secure enough for the moment.

Holly watched and was fascinated by the barrier. She watched the mesmerizing colors for a few moments, then followed Liam's example, summoning her glaive and imbuing it with some of her light magic.

Dream still held on to Kihaku with his left hand, sending some initial magic into her that would counteract the effect of making the barrier. In his right hand, he drew his Star Rod, spinning it expertly, ready for use. He glanced over to Haucon. "You're leading us, I suppose; where do we go from here?"

A message from Dream:
One more bump from me, but I think that we've reached about the limit that this RP can go. Maybe if we get EKA back we can move on again, but otherwise I think we might be stuck.
This RP, if it does in fact die, will definately make the archives. I will also personally contact the people here who were seriously wanting to have this RP remain active. We may very likely begin this RP again later, with a slightly smaller number of characters (some will have left us, of course, though we may replace them), and taking place slightly in the future of this current moment. We would discuss a possible outcome for this situation and then from there we can begin again (If we can pass this current block, we can probably move on as before). PLEASE contact me if you have any ideas on how to do this.
In the meantime, feel free to join my other Roleplay, Chaos Supreme, which takes place a time after this one, being different of course depending on location, as time is not consistant throughout the universe. TrumpetsRawkMySocks (Holly) and I have already joined this new one, and it'd be interesting to see other familiar characters join as well. To put it in perspective, it's 5 years after now from Dream's point of view, but a full 40 years from Holly's.
For these reasons, this RP shall never die. Continue posting if you think you can; otherwise, it's going to be archived.
