Kenji wandered into Ifrit's original cave, where he laid in rest before. Kenji sighed and sat on one of the wamr rocks, when one of the flying monters tried to dive at him, almost insantly he swung his Kanabo smacking the little monster and sending it clear to the other side of the cave. Kenji sighed. " I thought that by now I'd have qualified for the SeeD exams... I need to train harder. " He said sighing and getting up to go back to the Garden.

The wind howled throughout the empty structure as Marcus entered the abandoned mansion. He was on a personal mission to him. This was the place where Marcus had learned from several sources back at the academy on an entity of great power. Marcus, not only wanting to gain its power and resourcefulness, but he also needed to test his sniper skills. He walks through the dark, empty halls. His eyes were well adjusted as they almost seemed to glow. He reaches a massive door at the end of the hall. He touches and only has to look to realize that he will be unable to open it. He places his ear to the floor and listens to his surroundings. Nothing....no wait, there is something here. Thats what went through Marcus' mind as he could feel a loud vibration coming from the closed off room. He knew that the entity must've been inside there. He looks around for and alternate entrance. An air vent catches the corner of his eye. He quietly unhinges the cage, not wanting to alert the target. Crawling past the dust and cobwebs, Marcus reaches the other end and to his goal. His eyes widened as he stares at the golden being. "So this is Trauma..." Marcus readies himself and aims his rifle. He stares down the scope. He breathes slowly and calmly three times as he pulls the trigger. The .50-caliber round rockets from the barrel and pierces the helmet of Trauma. The guardian stands still as Marcus jumps from the air vent. He approaches with caution. "Something isn't right. Even with the power output on this rifle, a single round shouldn't ha-" He is cut short by the pummeling pain caused by a large blunt object. A smaller version of Trauma, called a Doma, had slammed into Marcus. The impact had caused a shock to his arm and numbed it. Retalliating, Marcus draws his pistol and fires at the weak Doma, destroying it instantly. He turns as he hears another Doma approaching, firing and destroying it too. He forces himself up, but his body freezes as he forces his head around. The bright light from the giant Trauma slams into Marcus as he is burned and knocked into a pile of rubble and debris. Cringing in pain, he was suprised to survive the power of Trauma's Photon Beam. Marcus watches as Trauma destroys its surroundings in a berserk fury. Taking this moment to his advantage, Marcus forces himself to aim his rifle, despite his pain. He needed to find a weak spot. Suddenly, it hit him. He aims his rifle at the head of the beast, where he had shot it before. Waiting for the right moment, he pulls the trigger. The bullet pierces all the way through Trauma's head from the previous point of impact. Marcus stands up and watches as the guardian falls. A voice roars through the room. It has been decades since anyone has beaten me. You, warrior, have proven yourself worthy of my power. Take it.Trauma suddenly disintegrates into light that surrounds Marcus. The glow then sinks into Marcus' body. After that, nothing. But that was all Marcus needed. He had retrieved his own guardian, therefore his mission was a success. The massive door opens behind him. Laughing to himself, Marcus limps out of the room and the mansion on his partially burnt body and back to the garden.

((Lol I never fail to post in the wrong thread.))
Suijin stood alone at the docks of Balamb town. The sea breeze blowing through her shoulder length silver hair as her red eyes gazed over the waves in front of her. She was again leaving on her own without any word.
However, there were words being passed around the Garden. A friend of hers accidentally let it slip that Suijin had thought there was something suspicious going on around Deling City and decided to go and investigate it herself.
The plan was to take a boat to Dollet, then a train to Deling. She may get in trouble for going but this is why she did it quietly. If she discovers anything going on, then she'd plan on telling the higher-ups. Hopefully it'll be a quick trip, then.
Suijin thought to herself, laying out plans as she waited for a boat to be ready to ship off.

"Going on another trip?" Shiro's voice called out among the sea breeze. His messy white hair blowing around like wild vines, the wooden dock creaking under his heavy footsteps as he walked down the dock approaching Suijin. The muscular white haired man gazed at her through his silver eyes, a light smile on his face. "How long you gonna be gone this time? Heh heh, can't keep the wind in once place. Same goes for you I guess, that's one of the reasons I like you so much. So aloof and free spirited. Gentle too." Shiro chuckled lightly as he got to the end of the dock, plopping down on the edge, his feet dangling, the sound of the waves crashing against the dock and getting pulled back into the sea surrounding them. "Wish you'd say goodbye though. I'm just glad I managed to catch you in time."

Suijin turned around when she heard a familiar voice. "Shiro? How did you know I was here?" He showed a smile but she figured he was more upset. She watched him silently as he described her perfectly, comparing her to wind, and as he sat on the deck, she felt bad. "I'm sorry." Suijin said, looking out at the sea and taking in the peaceful breeze. "I wasn't planning on being gone more than a few days, really." She let a quiet moment go by before sitting next to him on the deck and gave an apologetic smile, "You can come with me if you want."

"Well I went looking for you in the garden, but when I couldn't find you I sorta just ended up wandering here. Instinct I guess." He said with a chuckle, scratching the back of his head curious to his own luck. "A few days eh? Not much of an epic journey." He said with a grin, laying back on the dock, arms crossed behind his head as he yawned lightly and looked at her. He couldn't help but smile whenever he saw her face. "How could I not want to come along with a cutie like you? Heh heh heh, remember the last trip we took together? We didn't tell anyone in the garden we were going either. We just up and left. We're SeeD this time though...heh. Things stay the same no matter what I guess. At least now we can say it's an official SeeD mission if we get in trouble." Grinning he sat bat up, nudging Suijin a bit as he laughed, just happy to be invited along.

((I guess it's just us for now. If anyone else wants to join then just pretend you were here all along.))
"Yeah, I remember." she watched Shiro relax on the dock, then relaxed herself as she brought one knee up to her chest and rested her head against it. "I'm still wondering if I should have told Aki, but... whatever. I was only going to see if anything is happening that we should be worried about. Hopefully it won't be a big deal and we won't be knocked down a few ranks." Despite her worries, she still smiled at Shiro's playfulness.
A few moments later, a boat was docked nearby and was ready to be boarded. Suijin stood up and dusted off her clothes and clapped her hands. "Ready to go?" she asked her partner as she began to walk towards the boat.

A man approached the dock clad in a black coat with a white hood pulled firmly above his head. The coat lacked sleeves which revealed a pair of slim, muscular arms; nothing recognizable however. The face of the man was cloacked by an eerie darkness. For a moment and only a moment, he took a glimpse at the other two before stepping onto the boat and making his way below deck where he found a place to sit and wait for the boat to leave port. ((Rushed near the end cause my friend is wanting to play Gears of war with me. :/ ))

As Suijin was leading Shiro to the boat, she stopped as she saw the stranger nearing them. She caught his glimpse and responded with a nod of her head as a greeting but wasn't sure he saw it or not as he proceeded to board the boat. Suijin took a glance at Shiro, shrugged, then followed the man on to the boat. The two took a seat, giving some distance between them and the stranger, sitting in an awkward silence for a while until the boat took off.

As a man in a white hood approached, Shiro's muscles tensed up a bit just in case as he watched him from the corner of his eye, but the figure didn't seem to pose any threat and just kept going, boarding the boat that had arrived. He still watched the stranger wearily, but as Suijin nodded to him he nodded back and boarded with her. They sat a fair bit away from the cloaked person which was fine, and while Shiro directed most of his attention on Suijin he kept the strange figure on his radar. It was probably nothing to worry about though, this world was full of people going every which way, he was just weary about shrouded folk ever since the business with the ninjas way back. "I know there probably isn't anything to the rumors your heard, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see some action. It's been a while since I've gotten to smash something up." He said with a big grin as he put his arm around the cute white haired girl, kissing her cheek lightly.

"I know what you mean. It gets old really fast fighting the same monster in the Training Center. If nothing happens on this trip, then we'll go looking for something you can beat up, okay?" Suijin smiled. Suddenly, Shiro gave her a little kiss, which made her become shy and turn red. "Shiro, not now!" she whispered as she gave him a playful shove, but couldn't hide her smile. She took a glance at the stranger across the way, but it seemed he was minding his own business.
A few moments had passed. The boat began to sail seamlessly across the water's surface. The sea was quite calm on this day, and it seemed as though they weren't moving at all. The ride from Balamb to Dollet was usually an hour, but maybe they'd get there faster today.
As Suijin was resting against her man, something caught her eye. Around the corner where they entered into the vessel was a spot of teal that would occasionally peek out as the boat rocked about. "Is that...?" she murmured, thinking it looked familiar but wasn't quite sure. She stood up and walked to the corner and, sure enough, there was the little girl she and Shiro met the other day. The girl, Bryni, gasped as she was found.
"What are you doing here?!" Suijin nearly yelled, almost forgetting where she was for a second.
"I followed Shiro." Bryni replied, clearly unaware of the trouble she's about to be in. Suijin put a hand to her forehead, "This kid..." she mumbled. Bryni figured that since she was found, she could come out now, and took a seat next to Shiro while wrapping her arm around his.
"Kid, you shouldn't be here!" Suijin wanted to scold the girl as apparent with the change in her tone, but Bryni only whimpered and tightened her grip on Shiro.
((Sorry, my brain is just all "buuuhhh... emotion_drool " ))

"That sounds like a plan." Shiro said with a grin, chuckling when Suijin blushed and shoved him playfully, happy to have her with him and playing their little games. He glanced at the stranger when she did, but he wasn't paying any attention to them so there was little need to really think about it. He was excited, to be going on a mission, even if it was really just a scouting type outing, with his sweet Suijin. As the boat glided along the waves and Suijin rested on him, the white haired monk type fighter was resting peacefully, more than half asleep as he rested against the wall of the room they were in sitting comfortably. He almost didn't notice Suijin getting up to check on something, oblivious to what she had been seeing, suddenly woken by the sudden feeling of someone wrapped around his arm. "Huh? Oh Bryni hey!" As Suijin tried to scold her and she held onto him tighter Shiro just sorta smiled scratching his head with his other hand. "Ah, well she's here now. Not like we can dump her in the ocean. Heh heh, it should be ok for now." ((heh heh, it was good ^^ ))

(( ^_^. I'm just going to go ahead and timeskip a bit~ PEOPLE CAN STILL JUMP IN.))
"Once we get to Dollet, she will turn around and immediately go back to Balamb!" Suijin said, but her demand was ignored. Bryni made herself comfortable next to Shiro, and it was two against one. Suijin sighed, clearly defeated, and took a seat on the other side next to Shiro.
After the hour on the ocean, the group transferred to a train in Dollet, headed to Deling. After playing for awhile, Bryni was soon fast asleep, and then Suijin, both leaning on Shiro as they slept.
In what seemed like 5 minutes, the train arrived in Deling City. Waking up feeling groggy and with a headache, Suijin rubbed her eyes and looked out the window. "Ah, we're here." she said as she stood up and stretched.

Shiro looked at Suijin apologetically, she was right about Bryni needing to head back to the garden but it was hard for a nice guy like Shiro to say no to a little kid. Besides it was just a scouting mission right? He looked from one to the other and sighed chuckling a bit. After a while they arrived at a train station and Shiro was excited to be back on a train again, feeling all sorts of memories come back to him from his days with his dad, and smiled the rest of the way until both Suijin and Bryni fell asleep on him, trapping Shiro in a position where he couldn't move without risking waking up either one of them. Left with no alternative he fell asleep as well, which was rather easy, until the train stopped and Suijin woke him with her words. "eh? Oh cool. Heh heh, bout time. Hey Bryni we're...here." He said quietly, the little girl still sleeping he wasn't sure what to do. So he did the only thing the came natural and picked her up gently, letting her sleep more as he held her, she wasn't that young a child but compared to his tall muscular self she still looked pretty small. "Heh heh, kids are cute huh? Welp, let's get this mission underway shall we?" He whispered to Suijin as he smiled at her.

It was hard for the little girl to wake up as she had just closed her eyes. She hung on to Shiro as he held her, with one arm curled around a moomba doll. Suijin nodded and walked out of the station alongside Shiro, then looked around to make sure no one was in hearing distance. She wasn't about to say anything that would cause a riot, but just to make sure. "Okay, now that we're here, I guess I should tell you why we came here." Suijin said in a quiet voice, "I'm suspicious of the government. Something just doesn't add up, and I want to figure it out. The problem is... well, finding it out. Now that you two are with me, I don't know how we are going to do it." The trio reached the end of the sidewalk that met the paved road, divided by a fence. A few citizens stood nearby, waiting for the next bus. "Let's go to the hotel and talk there." she suggested.
