He nodded and stared at his tail. Vanity had it's good traits....and he was vain. Sure the tail came in handy but given who he was, it was his desire.
He concentrated and focused, his eyes narrowing a moment as his tail slowly shifted. It felt a little painful but it was more of a tingle in the legs as they slowly materialized but remained black.

Rin watched the process, she saw it for the first time with JC, but this was different. JC's body didn't interest her, Asher's did. When the legs were formed, she reached out to touch the leg closest to her almost shly. "You did it, nice job." She complimented him as she looked the legs revieled to her.

He was reminded of the tight black pants he used to wear, and how much like skin they looked on him. When she touched his leg, his eyes closed as he drank in the feeling of just having two legs again, along with everything else.
Bright side to being a serpent, no need for pants. However with Rin, he didn't care. Walking was something he would master later after this. Concentrating on just keeping two legs was enough.

Rin looked down to her own legs a moment, her skirt obsucred that she had two. It is impossible to even imagine what it was like for him, she had two legs and the closest she could come to being any less short of losing them was the tight skirts she owned. Even then, she still had feet.
In a quite tone, Rin mentions, "Some day, you'll be teaching our little ones how to do this same trick." Though, she'd raither it be taught when they were adults.

"When they're older..." He murmured. At least then leg wise he was quicker and held more experience then they would.
For now he would practice concentrating later so he grew his tail back out.

Rin nodded and voiced her opionin, "I agree," She had seen that Jean could crawl and talk, they were really growing quickly, "What have missed, Asher? Jean spoke, slithered, we missed those firsts." She fought tears, greatly upset that those milestones were seen by anyone but her.

Asher blinked and curled up with her, pulling her into his arms and petting, even kissing her temple.
"Apparently Roxane is the first to speak and slither...Jean picks up quickly though..." She may not want to hear that, but Asher didn't want to lie to her either.

Rin let him curl up with her, and nuzzled against him sighing softly. "I guess that shouldn't surprise me too much, our little Roxie is a very smart girl, and very perceptive. Did they have a good day?" She hated to find out second hand, but it was the only option open to her so she'd take it.

"Roxie found a praying mantis and it apparently pinched her finger. But she's better now. Nathanial had a cricket in his hands but had to set him free. Otherwise I would say they had a wonderful day."
He hugged her close.

Rin was instantly alarmed upon hearing what her dauhter was playing with, "Why in the world was she allowed to play with a raying mantis?!" She would have never allowed Roxane to play with that type of bug. The only thing that calmed her down was knowing that her baby girl was alright.
"Atleast Nathanial picked a safe bug to play with. Good to hear they had a good day." In the end, thats what mattered, that her babies were happy.

"Do keep in mind our little girl is also competitive. She probably saw one of the boys playing with bugs and wanted to find something better."

Rin started to say something then stopped, Asher was right in a lot of ways. Finally, she spoke again, "Roxie is probably always going to be like that, competitive and attention grabbing. In a lot of ways, she remindes me so much of how I was, and who I became. I just hold hope she doesn't walk into the same mistakes I did." Closing her eyes a moment, she banished the memories from her past the dark part of her mind where they belonged.

"Then let us teach her early on that the world doesn't revolve around just her. Being competitive and wanting attention isn't a crime...but if she is going to find a mate at all in the future, it wouldn't hurt to teach her before she gets so much older to walk into those mistakes..."

Rin sighed softly looking to the cribs that her children were sleeping in, "It seems so hypocritical, its a harsh reality check that could push her away and be more harmful then good. Besides, her behavior as its positive effects." She knew for a fact that if Roxane hadn't been such a daddy's little girl, she probably would have never tried to call Asher back. Besides, she didn't want to harm her daughter emotionally, nor did she want her to be hurt by others. Not the best position to be in for a very concerned mother.

He kissed her cheek. He didn't want their little girl hurt but at the same time, she didn't want her wanting constant attention to be the reason she got hurt at all...
