Tempest paid for their drinks then walked with Taji, sitting down across from her. She sipped carefully at her drink, licking away the whipped cream that remained on her lips. Her heart felt lighter, less empty even though she'd just met and got together with Taji. She just hoped it would work out. "How's your drink?"

Very good, she said with a polite smile. And yours? she hated to admit how much she felt for Tempest, only because it was so soon. But everytime she looked at her, she knew that things could work out and be perfect between them.

"Mm..very nice..though the company's even better." Her eyes glittered as she smiled, ready to take another sip when her phone began to chime. Muttering, Tempest set the mug down and flipped the bright blue cellphone open. "Hello? ... Oh, it's starting now!? ... You could have called eariler ya know. ... No, I'm out on a date. ... I'll tell you later. ... Yes, we'll be there shortly. Bye." She closed the phone then rubbed her head. "Ero says the masquerade's starting. Do you still want to go? I'll have to go change..."

Taji laughed a bit and smirks faintly. Sure, she said, smiling to Tempest. Though... why do you have to change? Oh! The ... outfit you were talking about. I'd still love to see it... so, sure, let's go.

Tempest laughed then stood up. "But you need something too." She looked her over for a moment then snapped her fingers. "Divi will have something, I'm sure. Just meet me at the Fallen Star and I'll bring you an outfit, promise!" She leaned over and kissed her cheek before waving and hurring off back home, knowit it wouldn't take long.

Merryn pushed the door open meekly and scanned the place for an empty place to sit, choosing a small table for two she placed an order for the usual at the counter and sighed as she made her way to her spot. Ruffling her wings she straightened her new dress and smoothed her hair as she waited for her tea.

Jalceri entered the small cafe and held her head. Her head felt like it was going to explode for whatever reason.. She went to the coffeeshop in some hope that a nice black tea would calm her, or atleast, help to relax her.

Feeling a pulse of recently uncharacteristic warmth pass through her at the opening of the shop door Merryn glanced in its direction. At the sight of Ceri the small angelic girl smiled and stood, positioning herself in her love's direction.

Jalceri pushed the hair from her face with a deep sigh. She yawned, leaning on the counter. She lifted her head to glance around the coffeeshop. Her eyes suddenly met Merryn's eagerly. She smiled and bit her lip with a slight smirk across her face.

Curtsying sarcastically, then waving in enthusiasm, she fluttered over to Ceri with a sad smile. "Long time no see, stranger," she said shyly, "How've you been beautiful?" Taking the darker winged girl into her arms briefly she kissed Ceri softly on the mouth.

Smiling at where Ceri pointed to Merryn wrapped an arm around the woman and sighed happily as she moved to get to the table. Running a finger across Jalceri's halo Merryn giggled for the first time in a month. "Having halo troubles still, I see," she said with a laugh and flip of her hair.

Jalceri huffed and pushed the halo back slyly.
"So you noticed?", she said. She smiled and clasped the girls hands in her own.
"What'd my love do while I was gone?", she asked with a smile.
