Lena smiled as she let her eyes fall shut. She was happy to have Shinji there with her again. Even if he wasn't right there beside her, he was there and that was enough for her. She turned over once or twice trying to make herself more comfortable before she ended up drifting off to sleep.

Shinji shifted again on the couch, his eyes still very awake. He paused in his thoughts to smile, shifting to look to Lena. Good...she's asleep still...he thought to himself, shifting off the couch and keeping his eyes on the beauty as he slunk towards the door. He made sure he'd snuck out of the room quite enough to keep her sleeping before moving down the stairs, still trying his best to be very quite, as he was unsure who all lived there now. He made his way to the kitchen, pausing to think of the time. With a shrug he decided it was late enough to make some breakfast, and started pulling things from their places to fix a very large breakfast for Lena and himself, and whoever else was there.

Lena shifted some as Shinji left the room, but other than that she didn't stir. She lay there in bed, still sleeping soundly.

Shinji continued on in his best silence, making scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage - All seemed to go well enough until he decided to make pancakes. Let's see here...he muttered to himself, somewhat bored with the mortal way of doing things. After pouring some batter into the hot pan he leaned over the stove to check the cupboard above it for new ingredients to add. As he did so, he pushed the pan away from the flame, which caught the frays of his corset on fire. s**t! he cried out, backing away quickly from the flame, moving quickly to the sink to attempt to splash water on himself, the action more surprising than painful.

Lena opened her eyes slowly, letting them adjust to the light comming in the window as she woke. She sat up as she listened to the sounds comming from downstairs, for a moment before getting up and heading for the stairs.

By the time Lena made her way to the kitchen, Shinji'd finished the breakfast and set it out on the table using his powers as he stood at the sink shirtless, flicking at the bits of burnt fabric muttering to himself. He didn't notice Lena enter, as he was trying to decide how he'd like to go about fixing his top.

Lena stayed quiet as she walked up behind Shinji. "What're you doing...?" she asked, resting a hand on his shoulder.

Shinji turned quickly to Lena, laughing inwardly. Iiii...caught my shirt on fire trying to reach the chocolate chips? He glanced to the cabinet, which was still open, a bag of chocolates across the shelf, speckling the stove, and across the floor.

Lena couldn't help but laugh "That's why you're supposed to gather your ingredients before you start cooking.... do you want me to see if I can fix your shirt...?" she looked down at it and tried to decide if it was fixable.

Shinji just chuckled, shaking his head and offering the top to Lena. You can see if there's anything you think I should do...But it's probably just time I found a new one to wear...That one's getting kind of old.

"Mmm... I think it may just be time to find a new shirt... it's pretty much impossible to fix fishnet..." Lena said with a nod before looking up at Shinji.

Shinji chuckled some and nodded in agreement, pausing to think to whether or not he'd seen his trunk in Lena's room last night. Are...my clothes still upstairs? He asked shyly, glancing to the stairs.

Shinji nodded some, moving to kiss Lena's forhead. I'll be right back. Go ahead and get yourself some breakfast, alright love? he offered with a smile, making his way upstairs quickly.

Lena nodded and took a seat at the table, as Shinji exited the room. She looked over all of the food on the table for a moment before fixing herself a plate. After taking a couple bites, she decided that she wanted coffee and stood up to go make some.
