Such rumours cannot be confirmed until the fourth Horus Heresy book is released: the Flight of the Eisenstein.

Ehehehe, I'm thinking of using the Death Gaurd rules to make a loyalist group of Death gaurd members that were forgotten.

Not possible in the fluff. Also if you wanted to make loyal untainted DG it would be the marine codex using trust your battle brothers and purity above all. Lots of apothecaries. But yeah All the DG were tainted, the only exception is Captain Garro, and hes most likely dead and did not have the men to have an army, only a small society such as the kill team Im making, otherwise theres nothing small enough Im aware of to represent them.

My friend made Captian Garro a daemon prince.
An extreamly powerful Daemon Prince...

Kick a**, theyre going to be in there?
Though this isnt rumor. This was from the fluff of the Horus heresy card game which is part of this big push into fleshing out the Horus Heresy background of the game.

As to Lord Illpalazzo, he was loyal, whyd they make him a demon prince?

Anyways Im waiting for that book now, i want to know if Saul Tarvitz joins him. In my horus heresy army list i wanted to do the heroes of istvaan with Garro and Tarvitz taking up the HQ slots after I read the backgrounds on both of their cards. Which was maybe a year before these books started coming out, I wish they all came out around the same time rather than so spaced out....meh Ill stop going off on a tangent now.

Lost and the Damned come with their own Codex, so I assume they're still a legal choice for army lists in tournaments and stuff, or does it require the opponant's permission, as per Chapter Approved and stuff?

As of current, It's iffy. GW, as you may know recently put the LatD list on their website with this tagged onto it:

Quote:
Is This List Official?
This list was legal for the 2006 U.S. Grand Tournament, whether it or not it will be in the 2007 tournament season remains to be seen. If you wish to use this list in Rogue Trader or other Tournaments, we recommend you check with the tournament organizers first. Tournament legality aside, these are fun rules and we hope players enjoy using them in games.

So, the solution would be to do just that. Otherwise, that's about all I can tell you.

actualy no its not GW HQ have even done it when they realsed the deamon hunters tau were one of thier shocases of how to do adversaries, the resoning they have is that the tau do not fully understand the nature of humans and marines and therefore dont know the full differnces between the imperium and chaos, besides they just want people to join them who are they to question why the chaos gods would offer to help

Okay I've decided to start an Iron Warrios army and I would like some opinion on this army list I have created. Now before I do this I would like to say my playing style revolves around small elite squads so please keep that in mind when reading this.

HQ:
Lord: Termie Armour 2 Lightning claws Deamomic Essense/Mutation/ResilianceStrength/Rune and six chosen
6 Chosen Terminator Champions: Spiky Bits, all lightning claws, Deamonic Mutaion/Resiliance/Strength

Elite:
3x3 Obliterator Cults

Troops
5 Chaos Marines x2 Plasma Gun
5 Chaos Marines x2 Plasma Gun

One has to wonder if "Eisenstein" is a deliberate pun...

I'm currently attempting to rabble together a Word Bearers army, lead by my 210pt Daemon Prince, which I am very proud of. I took the large looming wings from the LotR Warhammer Balrog model, and cut off the mutated backpack antennae-things off, and replaced them. I also have a blister Chaos Standard Bearer which I plan to convert into an Aspiring Champion with an Icon for summoning Daemons. smile

210 is a fifth of your army, mate.
