RIP Clifton Rayford, 78. The only grandfather I had. Key to the family, temple of wisdom, God's gift to south central Los Angeles. He was more of a father figure than my father ever could be. He passed away in the hospital Thursday March 8, 2007 around 4pm. Though his liver cancer was in remission, complications of such caused total kidney shutdown, which finally did him in. Until we meet again...

It's not easy to lose someone that played a significant role in your life.

he played a significant role in many lives. Head Deacon at the local church, sponsor to several different community charities, well known by city council members, and his days in construction had him building and refining most of the roads around that area. Not to mention he raised 4 daughters, and once he remarried he raised God only knows how many other bastardchildren...
