And even in Japan, DDR is starting to die out.
I've been meaning to pick up at least one of the Final Fantasy's...but I'm trying to finish Kingdom Hearts 2 first...I'm almost at the last boss I think; it's just that I want the ultima weapon first...and that item does not come easy...

DDR hasn't been popular in Japan for a long time, it's too easy for them, but it's really popular in other Asian countries, like China.
Kingdom Hearts 2 rocked. Merc, the Ultima Weapon...it's obviously a great weapon, but not worth that much pain. I only grabbed it because I was finished with the game. Go fight the last boss, the ending sequence is so worth it.
Picking up Final Fantasy...if you don't want to pay for anything and you want it easy, pick up an SNES emulator and download Final Fantasy 3/6, easily the best on the SNES...though you may want to play 2/4 and 5 first.
If you're willing to work hard for it, you can download the Playstation Final Fantasys for free too...Final Fantasy 7 is a lot of peoples' favorite, but it really isn't that great...I love 8, it's probably my favorite on the Playstation...9 isn't that great...Tactics is way different from any other Final Fantasy, but so much fun!
Final Fantasy 10 is an awesome game, it's Playstation 2, so there's no way you'll be able to download it...but it's fun.

Minikaru raved to me about FF 10, and I intend to get it, once I finish KH 2.
Theoretically, I could beat Kingdom Hearts 2 right now I think...I've already beaten Saix in the World that Never Was, and am at Level 74...just that I'm curious about the Ultima weapon...OOH...speaking of..since you happened to make it, you might be able to help me.

Hehehe, I liked FFX so much, but I never finished FFX-2, trying to get 100% completion drives me insane, plus it's my brother's game and he never finished it, so I can't beat it until he does first.

The starry hill game was evil....8000 points? God that took forever (I kept getting in the 2000 range)...and the chest in World that Never Was with the Orichalcum in it? Equally evil.

I LOVED Final Fantasy 9. I hated 8, and 7...was eh.
10 was okay, made awesome by Auron (in my mind). Although I wasn't to fond of either Tidus or Yuna.
DDR is great fun, I needa start playing it again. Great exercise!
KH2 was a blast. I got all the minigames done and beat the requirements save for...that one for the magic carpet. But I've already beat the game. Now I'm finishing up Radiata Stories, and Magna Carta: Tears of Blood.

Apparently you're more of a fan of the dark side of videogames and midgets...because FF9 is all midgets, and Auron is the dark side of FFX. Of course, I think Auron was kind of a baby in KH2, he was much cooler as an unshaven drunk.
...Did you beat Sephiroth D.Monica? The magic carpet was easy! Try harder!
Gonna go take a calculus final now.

Midgets!? So the people that play Tales of Symponia and Windwalker like Midgets too!?
*shudder* I loved the story of Nine, hated the game play of 8. Hated Squall. In 9 at least the character wasn't straight out "I'm gonna save the world".
I didn't beat Sephiroth, actually, I was working on that when I went ahead and jsut beat the game. I got one of his life bars down when I fought him.
The end of FF X didn't bother me, actually. Heh, it was amusing. I wont say more in this thread considering some havn't played it.
I loved Auron in X, but he was okay in KH2. The fact that they had him at all made me release a nearly fan girlish squeal.

Considering how much they played up Auron's strength, the whole "Let's control him with a voodoo puppet" was kinda out of the blue. I'm at a high enough level to beat KH 2, but I want to level up my forms...they've been neglected this entire game...

They arent midgets in the cutscenes in Symphonia.
Squall was never straight up "Im gonna save the world." He started out as "Everybody should take care of themselves, and I should only worry about me." Rinoa and the others slowly got him to start caring about others.
Sephiroth is easy to beat once you figure out how to counter each type of combo, just use Trinity Limit, and equip the skill that makes it to where you dont use finishing moves while your MP is rechargin, so you get him in an infinite combo. Sometimes he breaks out of the combo though, so you have to be ready to dodge then...and then theres the move that takes you down to 1 Hp, but thats why there are items.
I didnt like the end of FFX, but FFX-2 makes it better. Only if you get the 100% ending though.

Hey, everybody! It's your favorite (or maybe not so much) ghost! I'm sorry it's been so long since I've been on, I get little time and less opportunity. Argh, Mog, why can't you be here?! The guild is freakin dead at the moment anyways, I'm about to do something crazy.
Also, besides the crazines, I may also post more pictures of me soon too, and that would also be madness.
