Earendil arched one eyebrow and looked to Lin thoughtfully. "That does sound like fun," he admitted.
"No!" Andarien protested with a pout. "Just me and Mi! And maybe Aranxia, because she's kind of by herself, too."
Earendil blinked in surprise. "Really? You want to go on your own?"
Andarien sighed as if frustrated with how thick Earendil was being. "Yes, Ada. We have our Pokemon to keep us safe."

"And the island is relatively safe now. If there's trouble, it'll just be from the wildlife and between Eon, Ai and PonyDash we should be fine," Miyuki pointed out.
Also, while Andarien wasn't the greatest at fighting, Aranxia did have training and Miyuki was much better than when she was a child.

"Well, I think that would be fine," Earendil nodded slowly. "You're sure, you want to go with just the three of you?"
"Do you not hear good, Ada?" Andarien asked, sincerely concerned. "That's what we said!"
"No, I know," Earendil chuckled. "It's just ... odd. You never want to go do things on your own, that's all."

Miyuki shrugged, less upset than Andarien was. She really wasn't that surprised, she had always been watched for as long as she could remember.
"We never really thought about it before to be honest," Miyuki replied, "Normally we always had a place to go, or people to meet."

"We did?" Andarien blinked.
"You didn't really pay much attention," Earendil winked at him.
Andarien blinked again. To be honest, he didn't really know what they were talking about. Then he shrugged. It was probably something from when he was very little, from before his memories started to take hold.
Earendil turned to Lin. "I'd say yes, then. What do you think?"

Lin nodded at this, "I don't have a problem with them exploring on their own."
She really couldn't, she had done so when she was their age, and in ways that were probably unsafer than what they were doing now.
Miyuki grinned from ear to ear at that, "Yes!"

Andarien grinned. "Good! Then I'm going to talk to Master Rolitar!" And he turned and darted into the shop once more.
"I wonder if we're going to have to let him wander down here on his own for the next while as well," Earendil remarked to Lin. "It's not overly far from Wing Hove, really ... and who knows how many trips he'll need to take before he's got all the proper parts that he needs."

That was true, of course considering they knew this island (or rather it's society) pretty well. Lin had to admit, she didn't see an issue for letting him come down here on his own.
"If he needs to, he might as well. We know this place and it's safe," Lin shrugged.
It was her father's reason for letting her run amok around Haven when she was little.

"Very true," Earendil agreed. "And you were younger still. Physically, at least, if not mentally."
They chatted a bit longer until at length, Earendil realized how much time was passing.
"Should we perhaps check on Andarien?" he suggested. "He's been in there a long time ..."

Lin blinked, she had been caught up in the fact the children wanted to travel by themselves. Not realizing how much time had passed.
"We should, maybe he's talking about the designs," Lin murmured.
And got carried away as a result, Shiro was like that sometimes.

"it wouldn't surprise me," Earendil agreed. "Miyuki, are you going to come with us?" he asked, looking over at her. "You don't have to if you don't want to."
She had after all been inside already, though to be honest he didn't know what she would do other than stand there and wait if she did not accompany them inside.

Miyuki just shrugged, she would just end up waiting outside if she didn't come along.
"I'll come, better than waiting out here," she replied.
It wasn't that she was cold, it was just that she wasn't sure how long it would take to get Andarien.

Earendil smiled. "All right. Let's go, then."
He stepped forward and opened the door to the shop, holding it for Lin and Miyuki to enter first.

The moment Miyuki stepped in, her eyes looked for her brother. He had to be here talking she was sure. Besides, she had seen everything in here, unlike her mother.
Since it was Lin's first time, she was more likely to take a quick glance around the shop before seeing what her son was up to.

The shop looked just the same as when Miyuki had gone in earlier, but Andarien and the jeweler were at the counter, deep in conversation, leaning over what had now become a small pile of papers scattered all about. The jeweler had pulled up a chair for Andarien to stand on, and though the bell above the door tinkled cheerfully when the door opened and closed, neither of the two of them seemed to hear it.
Earendil looked around a bit, but he had to admit he wasn't much of a jewelry person. He knew Lin wasn't either, so there wasn't much for him to look at.
