Cookie means the world to Takeshi and so far he thinks of them as the only beings he could truly trust. Always around Takeshi, he wears them on an article of his clothing all of the time which is usually his sweater. All he has to do is say his name and the familiar will awaken and grow a bit bigger in size. Cookie can't speak but Takeshi can understand every movement he makes since they have a unique link. After eating many pure human souls fed to him by the cult that raised him he began to grow more aggressive. More powers were revealed and he was coming closer to becoming a true kishin however he started losing himself. He would see illusions and go into these panic attacks. It was awful for the boy. Losing his sanity he said he wouldn't eat another pure human soul until his training to carry out the cults mission would be carried out. Later he would get better and regain his sanity but he would still swear off of eating pure human souls. He uncovered this form after eating the last pure human soul he would eat at the abandoned hospital. Everyone immediately thought that Takeshi was in the process of becoming a kishin because his wavelength was reaching levels that closely resembled that of a regular kishin, however this wasn't the case. Quickly his body changed and his eyes didn't even look normal anymore. Just as everyone was about to celebrate his awakening as a kishin he reverted back to his average form. Later he would learn that he could enter this form freely though every time he did his body would be under heavy stress afterwards. Despite obtaining this form he can't maintain it for large periods of time unless he becomes a full fledged kishin. By eating just one more pure human soul Takeshi will become a true kishin and transform into his kishin form permanently. Without the restraints Takeshi can attack using his claws or his legs to cause devastating damage. He also gains the ability to manipulate and produce intense black flames of madness from his body. These can be used for a number of purposes such as using it in physical combat, creating barriers of black flames, and even incorporating a battle style for it. The black flames are extremely intense and are more deadly than average flames. Ultimately this form is stronger than his madness overlord form. If Takeshi uses this form in succession he will grow a third eye on his forehead symbolizing that the madness has nearly taken over him and his mind on the border between sane and insane.

Madness manipulation is the ability to use the massive amounts of madness within someone to empower the user or compress it into the form of blasts and beams. Madness is available to everyone since most people have at least a small amount of madness within them. Only those with immeasurable amounts of madness could unleash the full potential of its empowering properties. Depending on the person the effects of madness will effect everyone differently. Being the new embodiment of fear Takeshi's madness is terror. His magic is the control of shadows. By empowering himself with madness he is covered in a black shadow like aura that makes itself very apparent. Though empowering his body with madness gives him a darker look this isn't a form that can be compared to his other two but he does consider it due to the appearance change. This empowerment transformation is known as Shadow Drive hence the aura that would be emanating from him. When compressing the madness into a destructive force Takeshi can create black balls of madness that cause dome like explosions that range quite far. Compressing it into a form of blast is also possible. Finally Takeshi can alter the form of the madness and change the shape of it, enabling him to convert the madness into weapons. In weapon form the madness is highly weak to an Anti-Demon wavelength and will immediately disperse should a user come into contact with it.

He can also see and talk through his shadowy eyes and mouths wherever his shadow can extend. Any form of light magic interferes with Takeshi's shadow magic. Madness induced shadows however are much more resilient than the regular shadows Takeshi manipulates. After using madness overload Takeshi's whole body will be able to transform into a physical form of the shadows themselves enabling him to use his shadow magic anywhere. In his madness induced form Takeshi must travel by sinking into the ground and moving in a way as if he was swimming on the ground as a shadow. When under the effects of madness Takeshi is still able to move as a shadow in areas devoid of light, able to use his body as a weapon.
With his arms still crossed, Atticus listened to Emma's story and although he was surprised that someone would actually come to Herald and ask him to be his teacher. Herald was the farthest from being a teacher, but still, Atticus would agree that he could teach the boy a lot. Though having him fight the Reaver is too extreme. Atticus noticed Emma grip her dress and caught the last bit about seeing a movie. Still standing there, Atticus, through unknown means, would dissect Emma's story and try to uncover Herald's intentions. "I'm guessing that this was supposed to be a date for you and him?" he asked, not waiting for her to pause. "Judging by your story and Herald's actions. Wouldn't be safe to assume, he used this all as a diversion as he went off to plan something special for you?" As he said these words, Atticus, himself, couldn't believe what he was saying, there was no way Herald would do something like that, even if it was for Emma. "Then again, maybe he is hiding around here, somewhere, waiting for the right moment to strike, the Reaver." Atticus then sighed. "Either way, you shouldn't let that get you down. If all you want is to see a movie, then I am sure Shira and the others will be glad to accompany you. You are their friend, after all." There it was, in his words, Emma would pick out what Atticus had said, that she was their friend, not ours, but theirs. Whether she will confront him about this, is up to her.

Obviously, regardless of what she was wearing, she was ready to jump in and protect Takeshi if needed. She at least wanted to get one free hit in on the Reaver for the last time they encountered on another. Her ears twitched and she glanced at Atticus "I assume you still wish I were dead and or back in my own time still?" she asked. "If so, that is understandable since I broke your trust and took your sister." she said before pausing. "Back when I took Mirai and Texas, it wasn't to hurt them. It was the opposite. We were in that diner, and if a fight ensued, not only would Mirai and Texas get hurt by Herald but the others there as well. Knocking them out and keeping them safe with me was the best plan I could come up with." she explained. She never had a chance before to tell Atticus her reason behind taking Mirai and Texas. She figured she would let him know now since she wasn't sure whether or not she would see him again. ☾
Atticus had an expressionless face, as Emma would actually confront him, but he didn't seem too surprised by that. He knew that coming there would eventually lead the two to some sort of issue. After she had finished speaking, Atticus would not look towards her, he kept his eyes on the fight. "Funny that you mentioned that. While, it is true that I said some things that, I shouldn't have, I can not take them back, nor will I try and lie to you, saying that I didn't mean them. The truth is, at that time, I really did want to kill you, or at the very least, send you back to where you came from." Atticus then paused. He had no ounce of regret in his words, he just accepted his actions and chose to move past them. "There was no need for you to explain yourself. Once everything was over with and I had finally calmed down. Deep down, I knew that you didn't have any ill will, but my pride would not allow me to accept you or Herald again. And the whole issue with you siding with him, as he vowed to kill Mirai, only made me hate you more. I truly wanted to see you dead at me feet, killed by my own hands." This is the first time he would admit this to her. Sighing, Atticus would finally look over at her, "I'm not really good at forgiving or letting go. I will admit, that I was weak and let my anger take control. I know that I must have caused you pain and for that. I am the cause of your pain and vanquish. My words must have truly hurt and for that, I truly am sorry." After all this time, Atticus would finally apologize and admit that the blame was all his. "I remember when we first met and how I was the first to accept you as a friend and gave you all my trust. While I do not know if we can truly put the past behind us and become friends like we did that time, I wouldn't mind if we start over, from the very beginning." Atticus then held out his hand at Emma. Atticus had a smile on his face, he felt relieved that he could finally apologize to her and admit his own wrongdoings, this was one of the few things he had wanted to do for a while. There was no doubt that Shira would be happy that he had finally done this.

Atticus would smile wider, as Emma agreed to start over with him and took his hand. As the two shook, Atticus would, uncontrollably, pull Emma close and hug her. "Thanks so much. At least now, I can die without regretting never having the chance to apologize to you." Atticus told her. He was unaware that Vincent had already told her and Herald that he was going to die. Letting her go, Atticus was happy, but then sighed as he realized that he had made a big mistake. "Emma, are you close with Mirai?" he asked. He could sense both Mirai's and Texas' presence around her, no matter how faint it was. "If so, I feel like I should tell you that, I've sent someone to go and capture Texas." After making up with Emma, Atticus couldn't help but think about his sister and making up with her, but it was too late. What he had done, one definitely cause a deeper rift between the two.

Her ears twitched again as Atticus pulled away and asked if she was close with Mirai "Uh... close as we can get at the moment. I don't know if Herald is still holding a grudge against her or something..." she said before Atticus said that they were going to capture Texas "What? Why are you doing that? What happened?" she asked. ☾
Atticus sighed, it was too late to call Despair back and even if he regretted the decision, he would go through with it, this was just his new frame of mind. "There's something going on with him and we needed to locate him as soon as possible. For now, that is all I can tell you, but don't worry, when he is recovered, I will get every last bit of information from him." Emma would understand that Atticus was talking about either interrogating Texas or torturing him. Either way, he may have mended his bond with her, but he still seemed to be acting like Divine, he was more demonic than before. "Well, in any case, I must go and meet with Shira now. If I uncover anything or manage to spot Herald on my way, I will inform you." Atticus wanted to get to Charlotte as soon as possible and tell her of his actions. She would be upset that he sent Despair to capture Texas and possibly fight Mirai, but he had already prepared for that. "See ya, around, Emma."
