Shigeru grew up in a strict family. His dad was a Jonin who was always out on missions and his mom was bed ridden due to sickness. At the age of 5 Shigeru was already being trained by his father so he could go into the ninja academy. Shigeru didn't have a say in anything that went on in his household and was admitted into the academy at age 8. Shigeru was quite lazy as a child when he wasn't being pushed by his father so it took him a while to pass the academy but he finally did it, passing his classes at proficient level. His father wasn't too proud of proficient and took Shigeru away for special training after he obtained his Genin headband. Shigeru returned from his training at age 16 and is now currently trying to become a chunin.
