I won't get mad this time! That much. Just don't look at my internet history! Reed mentally insisted, but it looked like it was no good. Crap, if only he could get Alan to get on the computer and do whatever he wanted! Before Reed could try hopping around frantically again, he noticed Alan get closed to the cursed apple. Mentally tensing up, the frog jumped as far and as frequently as he could then boldly jumped off the table, bouncing off of Alan and landing on the floor. Ouch. But now wasn't the time! He jumped towards the apple then jumped on top of it, making sure the already bitten apple wouldn't look so delectable now.

☸ Alan Brandt ☸ "The science of it all is simple." Alan cringed as the frog hopped onto the apple. he reached out, separating the two and tossing the apple into the trash. Wiping his hand on his pants, he leaned on the desk and sighed, looking around the room. "I wish Reed was here. I kinda miss him, you know?" "The numbers never lie."

The frog croaked in reply. Aww, Al. I miss you too! Reed frowned in his head. And that body... Suddenly, a thought occurred. That's it! If he can't get Alan to realize it's him through the computer, then he'd do it the only other way he knew how! Hopping towards the edge of the desk, the frog paused for a moment then poured all his strength into the next hop. Come on... Come on...! There! With Alan leaned over part of his shirt was open, and that's right where the froggy musician jumped into.

☸ Alan Brandt ☸ "The science of it all is simple." Alan yelped as the frog leaped into his shirt, jumping and reaching his hands into his shirt. "No! N-no, get out!" he cried, trying desperately to remove the frog without hurting him. "The numbers never lie."

But Reed refused to budge unless it meant exploring more of that bare body. He hopped around to avoid that hand, croaking each time he was ordered to leave. Hopefully being perverted like this would convince Alan, right? He didn't come off as a bad luck frog, did he? It was either this or Plan B, and he wasn't sure Dexter knew how to speak frog!

☸ Alan Brandt ☸ "The science of it all is simple." Alan's fingers pried open the buttons, yanking the shirt open and trying to brush away the cold, slimy amphibian. "Get off me! Bad Froggy!" he scolded harshly, never once thinking that the bad frog could be Reed. "The numbers never lie."

Reed managed to avoid the slaps, but he could only do so for so long! With a godlike strike from above the frog was struck down, falling from his great height all the way to the floor. Reed groaned in his head as he looked at his surroundings. Back to the beginning, huh? No, wait! There was still hope! Spotting Alan's pant legs, the frog jumped as quickly as he could, his aim to sneak in and crawl up those smooth legs!

☸ Alan Brandt ☸ "The science of it all is simple." "Stop!" shouted Alan, feet dancing away from the frog in an attempt to keep him away. "God, you're worse than- wait." He paused, kneeling down and reaching for the frog. "Reed?" Alan was silent, then shook his head. "No, I must be out of my mind. There's no way Reed's dumb enough to get turned into a frog." "The numbers never lie."

Yes! Finally! But now the real problem was how to confirm Alan's thoughts. Reed's first plan was by jumping up and down in spot and croaking in excitement. That had to set off some kind of red flag, right?

☸ Alan Brandt ☸ "The science of it all is simple." He blinked at the excited frog. Weird. It happened when he mentioned Reed again. "If you're Reed, then I'll ask you a question. Hop twice for yes, three times for no." He cleared his throat, leaning closer. "Did we meet for the first time in this building?" "The numbers never lie."

The frog became motionless. Now this was a tricky one. They met at the school, yes, but it was in Alan's classroom, which was in the AP building, wasn't it? Either way, he was more than sure they didn't have a science class in the fine arts building, and so the frog hopped three times.

☸ Alan Brandt ☸ "The science of it all is simple." "Oh Reed, it is you!" Alan held the frog to his chest, then pulled him away and frowned. "Look at that, you really are stupid enough to get yourself turned into a frog. no matter, how am I supposed to change you back?" He looked around, finding nothing that could help. There had to be some way to fix Reed. "The numbers never lie."

Reed smiled in his tiny head. Good, now that they've established that he's a frog they could do... uh. Crap. Who could they go to that knew about curses? Were there any other bounty hunters around? Most of the teachers weren't normal, maybe they knew what to do! The frog hopped around on his desk until he was at the phone. He jumped on the phone to get it off its receiver, but like with the keyboard, each hope on the dial pad would result in three buttons pressed simultaneously.

Following the rules of Alan's earlier test, Reed jumped twice to signify a yes. Dexter didn't look like the type to know anything about magic, but he was in a school that specialized in that and he did seem to carry himself well. Maybe he wasn't even human...! Either way, there was a chance Dexter could help. If anything, maybe he knew who to talk to. It was almost worth the chance of never getting to live this down. That would be almost as painful as the constant rejections he gets from the vocals teacher, Luciano.
