Remy looked at the guest bedroom. The walls were a deep red with an ornate design on the bed's comforter. Everything seemed to match and give off a warmth. It was completely different than what he was used to: Sleeping on a cold wooden floor inside of a baren motel room.
"Ah, Chere!" Remy exclaimed, now back to his most exuberent self. "This is classy." He through his coat on the ground, took off his headband, and began to play with a deck of cards. He shuffled them over and over again, contemplating Professor Xavier's offer.

Noko groaned. " smooth Move Ex-lax" she muttered to pietro with a grin. Glancing over at wanda. " I suggest we move a few tables away. It may be better for our health in case he sends our coffee flying this time. " She said with a smirk glancing at peitro. " Of course i could regail his new interest with allll the stories i know." the smirk grew on her face as the thought of blackmail increased.

The snow dragon was already in the process of attacking as Dani made the water from her feet raise in the air ina boiling mass. She cursed as it hit the water, melting it fast in a huge burst of steam.
"Damn you! That was not in the plans!" Frost screamed, angered at her dragon having been melted. She attempted to create another but the heat of the boiling water was still in the air and made it difficult. She opted for another snow flurry but it was slow to develop. She was feeling heated herself...

"Hey, Venom... we're not done with you," Porter called over to her, "You see, we don't take kindly to people's bodies being overtaken with hateful murderers. You let Teagan go the easy way or we're going to make this hard."
He zapped one of her arms with an energy gun to get her attention. At best it was going to be a minor annoyance but he couldn't risk using a real gun. He fell back behind Morgan and started to work with Jamie again.
"Jamie, remember her father," Porter crouched down with one hand on tree that Jamie was resting aginst. Porter completely understood, the last sequence should have exhausted the boy but he kept going. Porter was impressed with the extend of this ability. These kids had fight, "He denied her because she was a mutant. He sent her away to boarding school. Make the illusion mock her because she's a mutant. Make it threaten to send her away from America..."
"Yea, it feels wrong for me to tell you that... but I feel the hatred for her father might be what brings her back," Porter watched Venom turn around and start stalking back towards the small group, "Hatred is a powerful vehicle."

Regina... Skipping curfew to go get coffee, finding a month old lunch under one of our beds... That is my favorite thing... not the battle room, not the missions... just being teenagers... good friend... good friend
My team... damn you guys are good... and if I get out of this I swear I'll stop being a kamakazi on most missions...
Jacen... the only person to get into my head so much... the only person who is going to leave a scar... oh....

Her mind fought her body and focused her eyes. THe pain was searing through her, she choaked out incredibly weak, "Jacen... wake up..."

Now that the snow dragon had melted, Danielle had more water to work with. She once again raised the water in the air, and made it boiling hot. She was ready for Frost's next move.

Sasha laughed as she watched the boy's reaction. She drank her milk, and licked off the mustache, keeping him distracted.
He certainly is clumsy, she thought, smiling.

Dammit, Pietro thought, gripping his coffee cup a little tighter. I'm actually trying to be good for once, and now I've got some skanky girl messing with me in the background... no Pietro, dammit, you're the resident heart throb around here, you can ignore her.
He tilted his head away from the girl, and turned to Noko and Wanda. "Yeah, whatever, the girls always throw themselves at my feet, it's no big deal," he muttered as he licked the coffee off his fingers. "So about you not hating me anymore," he asked Wanda, in a tone that once again made Noko roll her eyes in shame. "Um... what do I gotta do?"

While all this heated battle was going on, Raze was contemplating his different methods of getting the hell out of the situation he'd found himself in. The snow had finally stopped, so he had an easier time melting his way through the drifts that had piled on the ground.
Of course, only part of his mind was thinking about escape. The other half was considering staying behind to help these people. They looked like they could use some help. His eyes darted between the battle, and anywhere except the battle.
"Stupid morality," he mumbled, as he headed back towards the fray.

"Hmmm...." said Sasha, "So he wants to play it that way." She got up, and walked over to the jukebox, just taking a small glance at the boy. The box happened to be on the right of his booth. She walked up to it, looking over her shoulder at him. She then dropped a coin, and bent over. She remained there a little longer than necessary, before getting back up slowly, and blew the dust off the coin. She put the coin in, and played the song. She played the Divynals' most famous song.

Venom looked towards Porter and Jamie, a pissed look on her face.
She walked towards them without even saying a word.
That's it. This is over now. She thought to herself, glaring at
the two mutants that had taken to the trees for safety from the rest of
the fight. She let loose a cloud of fumes towards the trees.
"You're foolish to think you can stop me; to think you can destroy me
to get that stupid little girl back." She laughed, as the fumes creeped
closer to the trees.

Pietro was sipping his mocha when the girl was walking by again. He sighed, somewhat annoyed, trying for once not to look like a total sleaseball, and did his best to await Wanda's answer. Still, he couldn't help but to look over his shoulder for a moment, only to see the girl bending over in front of the jukebox. He blushed despite himself, trying to look away.
"Curse these unattainable good looks of mine..." he muttered under his breath. He turned and growled at her. "Do you mind, we're trying to have a family moment here!" he shouted.

Jamie stood still for a moment. I'm not sure I can do that much. . . not right now. . . Jamie stood for a moment, trying to decide what he still had left. Sound might be too much for me, but people I can still do. . . The change in wavelength it took to create radio waves just wasn't something he was up to, so he took a deep breath.
Suddenly, everyone important from Teagan's life appeared, in ghostly visages. Not real enough to fool anyone, but enough to trigger memories. There was a breif image of Teagan's father putting her away, sending her to bording school. Jamie kept the images flowing in and out, hoping to cause some confusion.

"No," smiled Sasha, "After all, I'm just trying to play a song. It's not my fault if I distract you." She began fumbling with the small hourglass filled with sand on a gold chain around her waist. She loved how her motives made him squirm, making him look weak in front of the other two.

Venom stopped dead in her tracks as she watched the ghostly images in front of her. The gases she had released seemed to disappear as she stared at the images. Deep inside her head, Teagan was able to peer out, causing memories to flood Venom's mind.
She grabbed her head, as she tried to fight Teagan for control. But it was getting to be too much. The images Jamie had congured up had unlocked Teagan and now, instead of having a battle with the mutants around her, Venom was battling with the mutant in her head.
As she regained control, Venom let out another batch of fumes, letting them blast past the images, and race towards Jamie and Porter before Tegan broke through for control again.
"Damn you." She said, whether it be Venom speaking out towards Jamie and Porter or it be Teagan cursing her father.
