Adrian looked at the boy, he sensed the irritation in the boys tone and was unsure what he did to have that tone directed at him.
Flirting... he thought about it for a second.
"Well... the male wolves would go about impressing females they wished to mate by proving their strength and fighting any other male that approached her... the females then would test the boys why seducing other males... isn't that flirting? Seducing and fighting?" He cocked his head to the side. He was never very social with the wolves. He didn't understand their sex driven minds...

The dark figure stood out side the book shop. Shadowed face gazing at the sign.
"I suppose that's... close enough..." he murmured with a small sigh. It was... strange to have to explain this sort of thing to someone else - especially someone who was older than him.

"But it's usually toned down at least a bit when you're in human form... Like people don't usually kill one another just over one person. I mean... it happens, but those people are usually viewed as crazy and then locked up...." Bo explained, shrugging slightly before dipping his spoon back in the honey and taking another large mouthful.

Sin looked up and pushed his reading glasses a little furthur up his nose from where they had slipped down. He nodded slowly and carefully noted his place in his book with a finger before carefully standing up. "Yeah, it's... a ways. This is sort of like... the back...." he murmured slowly. It was also the third floor (or out six), but he didn't mention as he guessed the other would know that, having... gone up the stairs. Or having used the ever detesable elevator that always made Sin feel a bit... choked.

"You go down the stairs and... the door is at... it's to your right. And the stairs are over there," he explained, pointing. "Past all those shelves and sort of near the information desk?"
[[Wow, since I'm really immature, I find Fuuyo's font color # really amusing. :OO]]

The young man leaned his hands against his hips, quirking one brow as the book worm explained. "Riiight." Unfortunately for the fair-haired male he wasn't great at understanding even the most well-explained set of turns and twists. They sounded simple enough but... He figured he still get lost and end up starving on the top floor of the seemingly endless library.

"Thanks, kid," he murmured in a less than appreciative tone, swiveling around to gaze out towards the direction the teen had said. To the right? He had said that...and then...something else that hadn't registered. Oh well, as long as he could find his way out of this wing then hopefully he find another life-form to question.

Adrian looked at the boy blankly. Whoosh! The sound of Bo's words flying over his head was deafening...
He, personally, knew not what went on between to people. Relationships to him had always been egotistic male with obnoxious female. Though he did find the young bee before him attractive he was a) unsure why and b) he didn't really think about it. How he wished that they where here...

The being opened the door with a light jingle. The large hat covered cast the face in shadows.
"May I help you?" inquired the Shop Keeper as he set the few books he was putting way down on the spare cart.
A gloved hand appeared from the folds of the cloak to place an old, yellowed, folded peice of parchment on the counter.
The old Shop Keepers wrinkled held took it gingerly, glancing at the mysterious stranger warily before opening it to read one word...

Adrian

((Gah! Adrian's character is falling apart around my ears! I don't know what to do with him!! gonk He's ANNOYING me! I mean, I wanted him to be one of those "slightly-over-powered-by-the-uke" semes... the cool, collected, word of reasoning seme... like Gravitation... not working... *sigh* he's to oblivious... maybe the "mysterious" being will enable me to get control again... I'm sorry though! crying ))

Bo glanced up to see the other's blank expression. "Oi. Just 'cos in the animal kingdom you don't see a guy f*cking another guy doesn't mean it doesn't happen...." he mumbled through his mouth of sticky honey. It was amasing just how sour his words were compared to what was in his mouth. "Anyway, it's more common with humans... Sometimes even straight guys - um, that means a guy who... likes girls? - will pretend to like guys so that girls with get all flustered and horny over them," Bo explained slowly with a small shrug.

Adrian nodded. He picked up a cookie and held it between his slender fingers. His dark eyes consentrated on it as he pondered what the boy said. He then looked up.
"I suppose that is true." He then took a small nibble. The youth was bitter at him. He didn't understand why, per say. Sure he was unaware of human mating partners and ways but he was just a fox working in a book shop. Why should the young bee care whether or not he knew about them.. was he conserned or was there something else that the fox was missing.

The Shop Keeper nodded. And pointed a withered digit towards the back of the store, a bit nervously.
The being took off without a word towards the back. A gloved hand pushed the door open, sauntered through the kitchen and sitting area to the parlor, stood in the door frame and cleared it's throat.

"Hey, don't take this the wrong way or anything... I just don't want Dov to catch you off guards or something if he ever decides to try and f--" Before Bo could finish his sentance, he was enterupted with a cough (which was probably fortunate because he seemed to be saying naughty words a little too much), and he glanced up towards the doorway. What he saw was... strange, to say the least and he just barely kept his jaw from dropping.

Adrian turned at the sound of someone clearing their throat as well only to see the cloaked figure that wore a large hat that cast the face into shadow.
Adrian then was thrown back as something came hurling out of the cloak and straight into his chest causing him to fly off his feet.

Bo watched, startled. He was almost too shocked to move. Almost. But he did manage to ladel another spoon full of honey out of the jar and into his mouth as he stared avidly.

Sin watched the other for a moment as he turned and looked around. The man just didn't seem to get it... how sad. Sin had at least tried to be clear, but he supposed he had failed.

"You're still lost, huh?" he said blandly. This was rather unusually perseptive of the boy, which was a bit sad and said rather a lot about his level of engagement with others.

After a few more moments' wait, he continued. "Here... I'll show you, I suppose.... I have to check this out, anyway," he said, gesturing to his book on marine biology, as well as a few other books on various other research topics, the majority of them being very large. His taste in books seemed to be a dry as his voice, which was to say that he... prefured, for one reason or another, to read documentary-style books rather than fiction.

"I suppose it wasn't exactly hard to tell. Don't worry about your direction-giving skills though, I often lose myself in my own house- It's quite the tragedy," he murmured with a dramatic sigh as he held his one (out of three) book at his side.

Eyeing the teen's large textbooks with slight distaste, Fuuyo continued in a questioning tone, "Are you writing some sort of paper with all those books?"

[[I'll draw Fuuyo soon, I have a few of him as a demon but...eh, I'll draw him as a human/whatever soonish. n_n;]]

Chang! I fear he looks too much like Wei. Granted, all my semeish chaarcters tend to look the same (especially when I draw them just in pencil)... Technically, I believe Chang is more of a seke, but you didn't hear that from me! Fufufu~

[[Cute pic. I don't really know Chang all that much (I read a bit of him). But he's cute. :B ]]

Sin shook his head slowly. "No... I like reading these books..." he said, his tone bland and a little detatched. He didn't seem to mind the other's obvious question in his books. "I read some fiction and such, as well... but I find these to be much more believable," he explained with a small shrug. They also tended to have very interesting words in them, which was something that interested him. He liked words, even if just for the meaning. The English language was quite amasing... After all, one wouldn't immidiately think that there would be a verb soully created to be defined as "to throw something out of a window [defenestrate]. Very interesting, indeed.

Sin picked up his rather large pile of books and began to head off towards the stairs, taking for granted that the other would follow.

[[Something is seriously wrong with me. I keep making typos and mispellings. It's so very frustrating to find that you've mispelled 'them.' D: I don't think I've ever done that before. emo ]]
PostPosted: Tue Jan 16, 2007 4:25 pm

[[Oh, that's okay. It more geared towards Mie because she actually knows him better, but that's okay. :33 Thanks! And don't worry about the typos, I typo like nobody's business. .____.;;]]

Fuuyo bit back a laugh, a smirk of sorts shining through on his face. "I suppose they're more believeable...because fiction is not real," he murmured, keeping his eyes set just past the teen. He feared that if he glanced at him that he would start laughing. For such a seeming book worm, the kid lacked a certain amount of common sense.

"I don't really read as often as I should. Mostly, I'm caught up with articles and the like and I don't ever get around to reading for pleasure," he added with a faint frown, brushing a hand through ivory-white hair.

[[I think I have to go. >w>; Sorry~ >.<;;]]

((For some reason I keep envisioning Sin with buckteeth when he speaks. D: ))

"I'm aware of that, thank you," Sin replied, sounding just as untroubled as before. He really was out of it. "It's just that I hear so many people talking about how that book is 'so real'... and it's not. Not at all. It's pure nonsense...." Sin didn't really like newspapers much, despite their apparent 'realness.' Too much focused on what is bad in the world and what should be and everyone complaining. Sin' old texts were nice and dry, with the writer's personalities usually stifled enough for their own opinions and views to be silenced by cold, hard research intended to prove just the opposite.

They took several turns around various bookshelves, mainly containng volumes about the lives of apposoms and other such interesting creatures. They eventually reached the stairs and Sin began to walk down them, his movements naturally a bit slow, but made to lag even furthur by the weight of the large books.

[[I had to go searching for my last Haro post, but it has been found XD Mmm, the yaoiii~ XD]]

Golden eyes narrowed slightly, not out of annoyance but...something else. Something a bit deeper than what was happening just then. Something that hit harder inside than Haro could've ever imagined possible, especially after a year. It had been a year. Shouldn't he have been over this by now?

It...had been a year since Cal had taken him back to the store... And he had been free of Wei... and... it had been a whole year.

Leaning his head against the tiger's shoulder, Haro bit at his lower lip. He knew this was different, this was very different, but he still couldn't force out the memories from his mind. They just...kept popping up in his head no matter how much he...wanted this, no matter how much he believed he loved Shin...None of it could stop his past from resurfacing.

Easing himself a good foot or so away from the other, Haro lowered his head slightly. "Shin... I- I can't... I don't think...I can...do this," he murmured, plucking at the sheets beneath him.

Adrian's colbalt eyes widened as he stared at the red creature that had shot into his chest with the force of a cannon ball.

"Mo... Moeteko..." the normally collected male stammered. The small red fox stared up at him with wide eyes before yipping, licking his face, knocking him over again, and curling up on the stunned/petrified man's chest.

"Moeteko..." came the dry voice from the cloaked being in the door frame. They hadn't moved and inch. "Wanted to know where you disappeared to, Adrian. She didn't take it well that you left without a word."
The voice was cold, yet feminine. The being's head tilted up, revealing a woman's face that had one harsh, yellow cat eye while the other was covered with a patch. A glare was settled on her features as she looked at the male grey fox.

((Volia! New characters! I'll try and get a drawing for you soon. Kibachi, the cloaked woman, is not coming the way I want... *sigh*))
