Era Era looked at Lloyd in surprise and astonishment as he barged back into the room snarling and furious. In spite of herself, the Pikachu found her fur bristling with anger. It wasn't right to barge into someone's room, especially someone as ill as Alfred, and start picking fights with the first person you saw, especially if you already worked in the hospital. Even after hearing he was an Ex-Elite, even after Desmond gave his warning, Era couldn't suppress her anger that he could have so much disrespect for Alfred. "What do you think you're doing exactly?!" Era snapped, turning on Lloyd with Solaris, not pausing to consider the wisdom of her actions, "You know as well as everyone else here that there's an injured patient in here and you're going on about his stress levels!? You really think it's helping his stress levels that you're coming in here every few minutes to yell and curse at him do you? Well it's not, so if you're any sort of Pokemon that should be allowed to set foot in a hospital, I suggest you actually think about that next time you speak." To finish it all off, she slapped him squarely across the face, about as astonished at herself as anyone there was likely to be astonished at her actions. Era was panting slightly from the cold anger of her speech, a tone unsuiting to the Pikachu. She stared down the other Pokemon coolly, refusing to drop his gaze despite the pounding of her heart from fear and adrenaline. Oh Arceus, she was going to get herself killed, wasn't she?

EpitaphEpitaph watched Lloyd closely before her attention snapped to the Pikachu. The sudden change in tone was rather alarming and pulled her out of her thoughtful daze easily. She watched silently before finally standing as Era assaulted the Weavile and she quickly walked over to her, standing over the Pikachu protectively Epitaph glared at Lloyd with a hint of anger. It hardly ever showed in her expression, but regardless, Epitaph didn't trust him at all. He would try and hurt Era; she really couldn't put it by him. "I suggest you leave." She warned quietly, glancing down at Era for a quick second before looking back at Lloyd. He didn't listen to Solaris, so she didn't expect much of a response either. "Or you'll be in a hospital bed next." She would end it quickly too.

   Alfred---Lloyd---Solaris
Alfred shifted, pulling his legs up so he could peer at Serrin from over his knees with the blanket still bunched up around him. For the most part he ignored the Ivysaur, eyes opening and closing slowly. He didn't want to deal with all these Pokemon here making sad faces at him. He just wanted to go back to sleep. But that loud Weavile had yelled when he'd asked earlier. Hearing the shouting he yawned rather than pay any mind to it, although he took an instant liking to that Pikachu for telling the orange b*****d off. "Good job, both of you." The Espeon purred to both Epitaph and the Electric type before turning back to Lloyd in full ragemode. Well, since the Weavile wouldn't listen...he'd be MADE to do as told. As Solaris shoved Lloyd outside with a rather forceful Psychic and slammed the door behind him, Alfred finally stopped tuning Serrin out. '-took a look inside of your mind?' The Gardevoir lifted his head at that, eyes widening somewhat in alarm. He wanted to read his mind? Why? To fix the problem? What problem? 'No...no...no.' "No." He said quickly, bluntly before he dropped his head lazily back to his arms. "Go away." He muttered before hacking into his folded arms and ruin this blanket as well. He glanced at his hands with an expression of disdain at the blood. Mrrrr, damn. Now there'd be more yelling...and nurses fluttering around...now his head hurt too...

Serrin & DesmondDesmond's eyes flickered open and his head turned inwards to the hospital room, not that anyone within would be able to see. Serrin took on a look of annoyance, though it didn't seem to be directed at Alfred. They could force their way into his mind with relative ease, but it was hard to tell the mental and physical backlash that would have. It would also make him exceedingly difficult to work with later on, so it wasn't worth it. Serrin quietly hopped off the bed and looked at Solaris. " This is to be kept secret, for now. Tolin has been informed and he's on his way. Don't tell a damn soul. If Lucinda finds you... run. He wants to take his time and find out what he can. Privately, if possible... I'll be dealing with anything else he's needed for in the meantime." Those were the orders, for now. And Tolin was bloody pissed... so it would be best to follow them for now until he had had time to appraise the situation, calm down and think it through.

EpitaphEpitaph walked over to Alfred and sat up against the bed, resting the top half of her body on the side as she nudged him slightly with her head. Not like blood bothered her, but she would like to try keeping him calm, or give him someone to focus on. "Everything is a secret." She replied with a sigh. "What if these secrets are what's causing half the trouble we're in?" Though it didn't entirely apply to this situation, how unaware the guilds were was... disturbing. They get dragged into battle, something bad happens, and they fall into panic wondering why. That seemed to be the default this far. Epitaph closed her eyes and rested her head on the side of the bed as she awaited Tolin's oncoming lecture.

Era Era took a few steps back, stunned that it was all over. It made her head spin that she could feel such fury, the only time that rivaled it had ended with her falling to her death. "T-Thank you," she replied to Solaris' compliment, watching as he literally threw Lloyd out of the room with a Psychic. She had no idea what had come over her, but she had to work to soothe her anger and let her fur lie flat again. With a nod to Solaris she stepped back before Serrin began giving orders. When the Ivysaur was working on business he held a very commanding presence, one that was a bit unnerving compared to the quiet and thoughtful Serrin she had met. After he mentioned Tolin coming the Pikachu's eyes lit up for a moment before she realized that the Scyther was most likely not in the greatest of moods.
Era's ears perked up at Epitaph's comment, and she looked at the Flareon with slight surprise. Earlier that day, she would have agreed wholeheartedly, but now...now it was different. The comment about the Guilds not knowing would be her specialty but Era could honestly say that she wasn't entirely sure if it was a good idea to let everyone know, at least not all at once. "When something is built on secrets, if you unveil them all at once it will collapse," she responded quietly, more to Epitaph than to anyone else, although anyone could hear it if they cared to listen to what a young Pikachu had to say, "The problem is that if you give part of the secret then they'll want more, but if you give all of the secret there will be mass panic." She sighed once more, "Mistrust is not something that anyone needs right now, and that's what it would lead to." There went any last hope of subtlety, oh well.

   Alfred---Lloyd---Solaris
Taking Serrin's sudden change in expression the wrong way, Alfred's immediate response was to raise a tentative hand. "...does this mean I can go back to sleep?" All the poking and prodding from nurses and needles and noises and all the shouting...it was draining and upsetting. "No you can't!" Lloyd snapped from outside the door. "He's not allowed to! He has to be monitored and-quit looking at me you oversized silver turkey..."
"Enough." Solaris said quickly to the two female. "We'll keep quiet about all this. The last thing anyone needs is more stress and Lucinda is frustrated enough with her new position without us telling her she probably broke her husband's mind..." He headed to the door, stepping outside and with little ceremony turned to Lloyd in anger for the third time that day. "...get out of my sight." With that he reverse teleported the Weavile right out of the hospital. Where he ended up, Solly didn't know nor did he give a damn.

Serrin & Desmond" Maybe. But what do you think Lucinda's reaction is going to be?" Lucinda would barge in, cause Alfred to freak out and probably die. Lucinda would likely have a break down, leaving Rebirth without a leader. Tolin would have to act on his own which... would conceivably be easier, but the blow to morale as a whole was unnecessary. Losing Lucinda would be a blow to the guilds, losing Alfred would be a blow to Tolin. All in all, blabbing it to anyone was asking for something bad to happen. It was a risk they didn't need to take, and one that he certainly wasn't allowing to be taken. " It's not a choice. They're orders. We're leaving. Desmond will monitor him from outside the room until Tolin arrives." " And you." Serrin directed a vine at the Gardevoir, as if he were pointing a finger. " Stay awake." With that, he looked back toward the door. His vines extended outwards, allowing him to nudge everyone out of the room as he walked towards the door.

EpitaphEpitaph's ears lowered as she turned back toward the two while her questions were answered. She looked back at Alfred breifly with her ears low before removing herself from the bed and walking back out of the room. Her pace was quick as Serrin spoke, stopping beside Solaris outside the door. She'd said nothing since her question, but rather waited for what would happen next.

Era Era nodded as Solaris and Serrin both made their points, and she walked forward as Serrin prodded her without any protest. She turned to look back at Alfred from the door and gave him a smile, "You'll be alright I think," she said to him, "Take care." She followed the others out without another word once she'd finished, hoping very sincerely that Alfred would be alright. That Gardevoir meant a lot to many people, so in his right mind or not it was important for him to be alive. She then looked expectantly at the others, waiting patiently for the next course of action, like the quiet stowaway that she was.

  Alfred---Solaris
Alfred gave a distinct, almost childish pout at the order. He didn't want to be awake at all, didn't want to deal with all these strange Pokemon he'd never seen befo- "Serrin. Wait..." He sat back up, having been prepared to sulk under the covers moments before. "The guilds...how are the guilds fairing?" The perplexed frown on his face faded momentarily at his question, he starred at the Ivysaur's retreating back with a sharp lucidity before suddenly glancing away and his face took on an almost 'lost' expression and the moment of focus was gone just as quickly as it'd arrived before Serrin could answer his queries. Suddenly dejected the Gardevoir turned away and buried himself under the red stained covers with a rasping cough.
Outside Solaris flicked his lone tail and admired the ceiling tiles in thought. "I think I need a nap..." He groaned, ears flattening.

Serrin simply kept walking. Lapses were to be expected. The problem was whether the lapse was a return, or not. All the same, he kept the group moving until they were a fair distance from the hospital room. There was one last thing for him to deal with immediately, and it would be good to deal with while he could. " Now, then, Era..." The Pikachu was hardly a high-ranking individual, after all. " I'm sorry about that. What was it you wanted?" Tolin disappeared with a sharp, distinct crack. His breathing was laboured, as if he had sprinted and rushed to get here as quickly as possible. A bag was around his shoulder; it was the usual one he carried, since he lacked the conveniences of pockets or hands. He quickly sat down in a chair, taking in a second of silence and air before speaking. " How are you?"

Era Era swallowed nervously, "No, it's fine," she replied, finding her voice catching as she spoke, "Alfred is more important than what I wanted to talk about." Well, maybe not in content but in perception to Serrin most likely it was. After all, what she had just recently learned was old news to Serrin and the others. The Pikachu's fur prickled with nerves at what she would have to say though; she shouldn't know it after all, and there were bound to be consequences for having forbidden information. She should have known it was coming really, but it caught her by surprise and she felt more nervous now than she had before, finding that her resolve had deserted her. Yes, she could slap an Ex-Elite upside the face but she couldn't talk to an Ivysaur who had nothing against her.
"Well," she said after a pause, "It's something about those secrets we were just now talking about actually..." She winced internally, certain that someone would reprimand her before she could even begin. One thing was for certain though, she wouldn't breathe a word of it here in the hospital with so many other Pokemon around. Era was most definitely trustworthy in that regard; she knew how to keep a secret and how to keep it well. "I don't think you want me to talk about it right now," she added, her meaning quite obvious as she looked around, "But that's why I came in the first place."

  Alfred---Solaris
The Gardevoir lifted his head at the voice and turned. There was a moment of silent, bewildered starring before finally something clicked. "Tolin." He sighed, a faint smile on his face before it faded quickly and his attention drifted elsewhere. More specifially to the wall just behind the Scyther's head. Another short pause before his thoughts finally caught up to the older Pokemon's question. "...fine...I suppo-" He raised his hand to his mouth, but a fraction of a second too late as another coughing fit caused his thin frame to shake and a slew of blood splattered across the Scyther. Choking back another fit, the Gardevoir began to sputter out a broken apology.

Tolin & SerrinTolin blinked through the blood. He then quietly set the bag down, pulled out a set of towels, and then calmly wiped himself off. The second one was laid out on Alfred's lap. " Don't worry about it. I'm just glad to see you're still yourself." Well, aside from the fact that he wasn't "all there" and the bloody coughing and the... well, a lot of things. But it was a start! " Before you ask, we're winning the war." ~~~ Serrin quickly looked to his side at the nearby room. With a slight push, the door opened, and the vacancy was made apparent. The cameras in the hospital didn't have sound, to his knowledge, so there would hardly be an issue discussing anything so long as they kept it inside the room. Serrin walked into the room and held the door open behind him as a gesture to "come in". What he wanted to know is how the hell she knew ANYTHING about ANYTHING.
