Regarding the Captain with a small grin in response, Coline turned heel and rushed towards the door. As far as she was concerned she still owed him an explanation, and she was going to make sure he heard every single word of it.
With a sigh she opened the door and stepped inside, pausing briefly in her tracks as several pairs of curious eyes turned towards her. A young girl carrying a full-grown man over her shoulder was apparently a baffling sight. It was clear to her that these people have yet to discover the magical place that was the Training Grounds.
Hurriedly, as to not attract any more attention, she went through another door. It was only then that she made a startling revelation: She had no idea where she was going. And to make things worse, there was nobody--apart from the wide-eyed mages from the last room--to ask directions from. That didn't really leave her any choice but to keep moving, door upon door, room upon room, and pray that she eventually comes across at least one blessed acolyte.
Thank goodness for answered prayers.
"Excuse me!" she called out, taking a few hasty steps towards him. "I was wondering if you could direct me to the-- Ah." she retracted her hand, "It's you."
"Hmm?" the acolyte hummed, turning around to meet her familiar gaze. "Oh, it's nice to see you! How did that talk with the good... Priestess..." his voice faded as his eyes trailed towards the unconscious man. "Is... Is he alright?"
"I'm not entirely sure. As far as I know he's been knocked unconscious, but there could be underlying injuries..." she answered, watching as the distraught acolyte brought a hand to gently rustle the man's fair locks. "I'd like to take him to one of the rooms below, if there's one available at the moment."
"O-Of course! It's right this way."
Coline followed the acolyte through a number of doors, all of which she passed just a few wasted minutes ago, and she felt a tremendous urge to smash he face against the wall upon realizing she was right back where she started--just outside the mages' study hall. But there was little point in crying over spilled milk. The recruit tailed behind the acolyte down to the basement, towards a bed in a spare room where she laid the man down upon. The acolyte insisted on looking after the man and tending to his injuries, should there be any, and was duly thanked for it.
The fawn-haired recruit exited the room with a very audible sigh. That was a big weight off of her shoulders, both in the literal and figurative sense; she'd been lugging him around for hours that it was nigh impossible to ignore the stinging sensation in her arm. But the thought of saving a person's life from whatever danger was more than enough compensation. She trudged on.
Two staircases. Why were there two staircases? Coline shook her head, hoping the weariness would disappear with it, only to find herself slumping towards a nearby wall. The fatigue was becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. She pushed herself back up straight shakily. "Just... a little more."
[Endure]
Passing through the same series of doors as before she ventured on her wasteful search for the basement, Coline made for the Professor's study hurriedly, and she was soon standing in front of her Captain. "I'm sorry, did I make you wait long?" she asked, tucking a few loose stands of hair to the back of her ear as she struggled to keep her breathing steady.

So would you mind if I bared my soul? Jessie looked up and smiled as the girl entered from the Practise Hall.
"No, of course not. Don't worry," he soothed, reaching out to take her hand.
A single ragged breath managed to catch his attention, and he frowned, drawing a little closer. "Are you alright...? You don't seem entirely yourself today..." he remarked, thinking back to her earlier behaviour. If I came right out and said 'You're beautiful'?

"W-What makes you say that?" she asked, shuddering slightly upon the drow's touch. The warmth of his hand seemed to alleviate her pain, if only temporarily, that she was almost led to believe that if she died a hug would have brought her back to life.
It was an embarrassing thing to think about, and so she quickly averted her gaze, her eyes roaming until they rested upon the man slumped on the floor. It was that man from the forest. Coline's brow furrowed in concern. As far as she remembered he was strong enough to walk all the way to the Temple on his own two feet. Had something happened along the way?
She suddenly remembered their first encounter. Reluctantly, Coline slipped her hand out of the Captain's grasp and she approached the unconscious man, bringing her hand back to grab at her weapon. With a swift circular movement she spun the trident around and, just like before, poked at him with the blunt end.
...
Any minute now.

So would you mind if I bared my soul? The drow's lips quirked up into a smile. "You are a very bad liar, my dear."
However, he pressed her no more on the issue of her health. She moved off, and he watched as she examined the unconscious man. Worry crept up in him as she tapped at the beastly man with the staff of the trident - of course, he'd done the same thing a couple of times now. But this was different. If the man suddenly snapped awake now...
"Be careful," he warned, stepping up protectively behind her "That man is not stable. He burst into the Temple and attacked me before collapsing. I brought him here for security. Couldn't put him in the dormitories, where he could pose a threat to others." If I came right out and said 'You're beautiful'?

As everyone began to leave his room, panda sigh a breath of relief. He didn't know how much more of the exposure he could take. feeling revitalized, he scribbled on a piece of paper that he needed two more energy potions for his client. It was when he finally looked up that he noticed the girl still sitting in his room. A bit vexed at this he furrowed his eyebrows.
"and WHY are you still here woman? Is there something that you needed of me?" he said quite rudely to feline, still focusing on doing stuff around the room. "I'm a very busy man you know, and I HATE interruptions." He said, pulling out a rather clear potion, examining it with utmost scrutiny as it began to glow a light blue in his hands.

Coline could only sport an embarrassed grin upon the Captain's remark. How this man can see through her facade time and time again... well, she'd be lying if she said it puzzled her. She reached back and latched the trident onto its place with a sharp click before looking over her shoulder to meet the drow's gaze.
"That's odd. He seemed fine when we picked him up from the forest..." she muttered, brows furrowed. Her eyes averted momentarily, taking a few moments to think things through, when the reality of what happened finally registered into her head. This man attacked the Captain. Her Captain. The reason as to why she didn't know, but soon enough the guilt started to rack up like a pile of bricks. What if some innocent bystander had gotten hurt? Just like that one time...
Turning to face Jessie completely, Coline lowered her head to a bow and sighed. "My apologies, Captain. Had I known of his intentions I never would have guided him here."

So would you mind if I bared my soul? "Coline..." he murmured, unable to resist the urge to lean forward and press his lips to the top of her head. "Please - let's step away from him, if you will."
Gently taking her arm and guiding her a couple of yards away, he then addressed her in a more urgent tone. "So you know this man? Did he say anything about where he'd come from, or why he's here?" If I came right out and said 'You're beautiful'?

The soft pressure upon her head elicited a light blush from the recruit, but soon faded as Jessie guided her away from the door. Her expression curled slightly, feeling an unusual amount of strain from thinking back on past events.
"No, we passed by him on our way back from the cave. What happened was..." there was a brief pause, "Well, to keep things short, I was afraid he might have incurred an injury from a... makeshift meat cannon. So I thought the least we could do was have him treated at the Temple. I was resigned to carrying him back, but when I prodded him for any signs of consciousness he propped himself right back up. He never said a word the entire trip though..."
Coline's firm gaze laid steady upon the drow's. "It was a careless decision, I apologize. I'll take full responsibility for his actions. Should he pose to be a threat to the Order I'll see to it that he's ejected from the premises immediately."

 Prince Timothy Harrison
Tim awoke and sat straight up from the sick bed that he had been laid on.
The young male Acolyte jumped back in shock. "You should lay back down!"
"Nonsense my dear boy! I must retrieve my steed and send for an important gift!!!" With that he left the poor confused man, and made his way out the temple. Pulling out his whistle, he took a deep breath and blew into it until he saw his faithful companion sprinting toward him. Taking out a sketch pad from his bag, he began to violently sketch a picture of the item he desired and then attached the sketch to a bag of gold. "Go to Ian in barton. He should know where to find one of those. Return to me by morning and I'll reward you with extra greens in your food." With that, the man swatted the bird on its thigh and watched it speed off toward the ferry. Now he needed to get supplies. Finding a storage shed, he opened it and pulled out a hammer, some nails, and some hexagonal fencing wires. Looking both ways he quickly pulled out his swords and attacked the old shed.
[Signature strike]
The old shed held its ground. Angered the man kicked it causing the wood to fall down on him, tearing through his shirt a bit. Picking himself up, he pulled off his shirt and began to cut the pieces of wood to different lengths.
