Grey twitched, realizing that she'd removed his eye cover for a moment. 'Well, there goes Plan A.' "Excuse me for a moment." He walked out of sight and replaced his blindfold underneath the shades. "So, uh, yeah, I had eye drops put in and I need to wear eye protection until further notice." He sipped his coffee and returned to his seat.

Skutz kept giggling at Question problems. "Hehe, okay Question, whatever you say." she said through her giggles. Skutz walked over to Question, slowly, planning something playful on him. "But, yea L.A., do what you gotta do."

I will never let you fall... Lightning raised an eyebrow at Question. Repeating known facts? He was obviously hiding something. Determined to figure it out, Lightning began to interrogate him. "So, Grey, is it painful getting your eyes dilated? What color are they again? How good's your vision? Are you keeping secrets? Can I touch your hair? I don't think those glasses fit you well. How about taking them off? Are you hiding something? Please?" Knowing that he couldn't exactly see her, she made her voice sound as sad as possible. The big-eyes trick wouldn't work on a blindfolded person. ...I'll stand up with you forever.

Grey sighed. "No, grey, 20-20, none that you need to know about, yes but don't tug, why did you put them on if you don't like them, no, nothing you need to know about, no." He thought for a few seconds. "Did I miss any?"

"Oh," Zach became quiet. She hadn't thought about other people hunting her like she had read in the tomes. And she wasn't exactly quiet about being a phoenix either. Odds were if she wanted to remain un-harassed she would have to de-manifest her wings.

He made sure nobody else was around and that LA was a safe distance away before removing the shades, followed by the headband. His eyes were blood red. He immediately turned away and took deep breaths before replacing the headband. "Vampires have their unquenchable thirst for blood. I have an unquenchable thirst for life force. I've always been able to feel life force in others if I focused hard enough, but now I can see the life force within them. It draws me, and unless I regain control quickly, I'll end up doing something I'll regret." He sighed and looked down at the ground. "I was .1 milliseconds away from grabbing hold of you and draining you dry."

Zach had nothing to say to that last statement. She hadn't lived nearly long enough to be at war with oneself like Emma had. Ivan had, but he kept that kind of info to himself.
So you were a terror in your day, huh?
Ivan had decided to start toying with Emma again. He enjoyed it so.
