Sabe was still attempting to figure out the layout of HQ and it already was too much for him, so he was in the lobby, enjoying Romulus's dancing about until the news went up on the TV screen. He walked closer to see the screen better, and could barely see the edge of Waffle's halo and quite a bit of blood on-screen. He was dumbfounded at the thought of it. If only he could see what the snipers looked like; At least then he could figure out what was going on.

When I figure out who was shooting at that car, whoever even thought of it will end up hanging off of a flag pole with their limbs cut off! Nobody touches Madam without some sort of consequence!

Leave it to Sabe to lose his temper and still be dignified.

Skotti finished off the snipers and stood as he surveyed the rooftop "Now who is left?" he asked himself as he looked over the rooftop.

The officers looked around in a daze. The whole team of goons were shot down except for themselves. They quarreled amongst themselves, trying to figure out if they should fight back or retreat. No point in radioing Mortimer on this.

A small group of the officers fled for their lives, knowing that fighting back will simply result in a short death. The others picked up the rifles that their comrades dropped and proceeded to fight back. They were promoted into the higher ranks for a reason after all.



(Don't worry about it. At least you read a decent amount of the RP. You barely missed the transition arc, but thankfully Pen, Alison, Mandi and Rom started a side arc that should be fairly easy to slip into.)

"GOD DAMN IT!!!!" He shouted as he made, yet, another sharp turn almost hitting the side of a building. He was almost to the Hospital, it was only just five more blocks away, he yelled back at Waffle, "HEY!!! Don't you dare fall asleep on me!" he knew what would happen if she fell asleep. He didn't want her to die, so he kept yelling, "WAFFLE!!! This is a direct order from your Commanding Officer!! I order you to STAY AWAKE!" He yelled as he drove straight through a small barracade where there was a little bit of road construction. He yelled again, "WAFFLE!!! Stay awake! That's an Order!!"

Luciano finally arrived at the Hospital, he knew an Elven Doctor who would service him straightaway. Luciano parked the car near the entrance way, and then he hopped out, he picked Waffle up in his arms "Hold on, ok? We're here- you're going to be fine. I promise!" and then he ran with her into the Hospital, "HELP!!!" he screamed as he barged into the Hospital "HELP US!!!" suddenly nurses came with a gurney and assisted Luciano with putting her on it, one of the nurses said to him "Sir, what happened?" Luciano ran with them to the ER "She was shot. Sniper fire- I need you to call Doctor Adeline!!", "Sir, be calm-" Luciano grabbed the nurse by her scrubs and then he yelled "Don't you ******** tell me to calm down!!! You get me Doctor Adeline to assist my friend, or else I'll make sure you lose your ******** job!!" The nurse shoved him away and then ran to find Doctor Adeline, meanwhile another nurse stopped Luciano "Sir! You can't go into the ER! Wait out here for her!" she said, keeping him outside "Ma'am, please let me go in there! I have some medical experience- I served as a Temp. Medic in the Marines!" "Sir, please. Stay out here." Luciano did as he was told, he sat out there, helpless. He let out a heavy sigh and then he punched the wall.

Luciano stayed in the hallway, pacing, and then an Elvish woman approached him. She spoke in an accent- An Accent that Luciano could never place, she said "Hey, old friend. What seems to be the problem?" she got out her clip board, to take some notes, but Luciano grabbed her clip board and drew a quick diagram of the brain and then pointed, "My friend was shot here in the Occipital lobe! She lost A LOT of blood, which is causing her poor motor skills- All because of the blood loss! There was bullet lodged in there pretty good, but my friend performed his own 'Surgery' and got it out. I don't know what he did with it." Doctor Adeline nodded and then Luciano handed her back the clip board, "Okay, I will get to work on her, Thank you Luciano." Luciano nodded, "I know you'll do well. Just save her for me, please." he said pleadingly. Doctor Adeline patted Luciano on the back and then disappeared into the ER.

Luciano sat around in the hallway. He sat there for at least twenty minutes, he wasn't expecting the procedure to be quick. He knew it was going to take a long time, and he knew that they had to be extra careful, but Doctor Adeline was the best at what she did. He should know; he served with her during the Race War, he was her assistant for a little while and then he was relocated to the Gates of Barton.
Close to two hours went by, and he still sat there. Luciano looked up at the clock and he sighed. Doctor Adeline came out suddenly, she looked very angry, "Luciano, we're having a more difficult time than we thought," she started "When the bullet penetrated the skull it crushed some of her skull, but when your friend performed that makeshift surgery-" Luciano interrupted her, "Is she dying?" Doctor Adeline folded her arms and she looked down slightly "No. . Luciano, we think your friend might have accidentally severed a nerve. ." Luciano shook his head, but then Doctor Adeline sighed, "We're going to have to run some tests after the surgery to make sure it wasn't anything vital. Until then, please don't go anywhere." Luciano nodded and then the Doctor went back into the ER to continue the surgery.
