Nathan opened his mouth, then shut it with a snap. "Best not to ask that... always best not to ask that..."
With a cough, he headed for the door. "I'll head to another room, then I'll go to the cafe across the street... alright?"
He left, before they could continue second-guessing each other. He heard Yoru fine in the other room, so he went to the cafe.
"I left the keys in my jacket, so could you grab them and lock up? Then come here please - oh, sorry to be a pain, but my wallet's in my jacket too. Please bring that as well?"

"Of course." Yoru then went to do as his master instructed. He grabbed the keys, wallet, and phone which he had also noticed Nathan had left behind. He then locked the door and went to the cafe. He went in and walked to Nathan's side. "Here you are."

Nathan gestured to the other seat at the table. "Would you sit with me for a bit? I'll get you a drink, if you'd tell me which you'd prefer? Please?"
He blushed. "Uh, normally I'm not quite this scatterbrained. I do usually remember what I need to take with me before I leave the house, and pick everything up. Just not today..."

Nathan nodded, then went to order a green tea and a hot chocolate. When told they would be brought over, he smiled and went to sit beside Yoru again.
"I am to be trained as a fighter... do you think I'll change and you won't like me?"

Nathan scowled. "Do you not enjoy doing things? Like helping the kids in the hospital. I thought you liked to read to them? I don't want to make you give that up... and if I ever beat you up, I hope you hit me back, or tie me up. So I can't hurt you."
