La dee da, Shou's big left toe would twitch, and a defense would pop up to protect the half-golem. Either a large curved wall of stone in front and a bit to the sides, or a full encompassing dome, whatever would suffice to keep the man completely safe from harm. Regardless of the heat wave's speed, the shield would pop up in time, and the stone would be thick enough and dense enough that the flames would have no effect.
The defense would remain until Shou felt safe to remove it.
Woot woot.

The heat wave would slam against the shield, doing nothing more but creating a miniature oven. But Ryugi had other plans, as he was sure Shouyin did too. But at least he couldn't see out of that dome without sacrificing some of his safety. Unless he could sense Ryugi's position via where he stood on the ground, which was quite possibly true. No matter.
Ryugi would then spin and slam the sword into the ground towards Shouyin's little hut. As the sword hit the ground, Ryugi's energy lance attack sped across the expanse at a speed of 50 feet per second. But instead of a spread out blast, this was highly compressed to a thickness of about half an inch, and hot enough to neatly slice the dome in half like a hot knife through butter.
As soon as the dome was cut in half, the lance would de-compress, and explode with enough force to send the dome shattering into dozens of pieces, and quite possibly hitting Shouyin, burning him as the heat blast had intended. And still a fourth charge was added to Ryugi's arsenal. Ryugi would, of course, be on guard for any rocky attacks that came at him durring this time... Total time for the attack, under a second.

Yawning, Shouyin would lean back, letting his feet fall out from underneath him, splashing into a pool of very low density stone, coincidentally in time with his dome slicing in half and exploding. But this was just a bunch of rumbling overhead to the half-golem, who was now floating about five feet below ground, a small airpocket in front of his face to allow him to breath.
This was stupid, magic this, magic that. Lameass fire, when Shouyin had thought 'swordfite' he had actually intended for the clashing of blades. Anyways, he'd regrip the Wu-Tang sword, and flutter kick his way away from Ryugi, putting enough distance between them that Shouyin could climb out of the stone and retake stance before Ryugi reached him. And if the opponent decided to move about trying to catch him underground or whatever, Shouyin would simply listen and feel the vibrations and move away.
OOC: Your 'charging' system is retarded. But that's for another argument about the retarded things you do.

((The charging keeps me limited to not simply unleashing my uber moves whenever I want with no cost.))
As expected, his opponent had sunk into the ground, running away. Ryugi simply lifted his sword onto his back and began to walk towards Shouyin. Five charges. He listened for anything strange, and waited for his opponent to show himself again instead of hiding away.

OOC: Because you're not sensible enough to know when and when not to do such things? At least when they charge in DBZ they're dedicated to it.
Can't, let's say, cut a dense stone dome in half and then blow it up while powering up. In fact, they don't even move do they? Just float there or whatever.
But whatever, to each their own.
IC: Shouyin would climb easily out of the ground, facing Ryugi from whatever safe distance was required. His shoulders would roll out, body loosening as he went back into stance and whatnot. His feet would be easing themselves out, toes scrunching up and then flexing as he readjusted to flat ground again.
"NOW THEN." Shouyin shouted out, his breath falling out in a sigh. "Are we gonna actually fight, y'know, with swords and whatnot, or are you gonna keep shooting fire at me?" The man's grip on his sword eased then tightened, the blade shining under some unseen light.
"Because that isn't gonna work, and there's a grave under your feet I can easily send you to."
Oh yeah, tough talk.

I dunno. That depends on if you can stop hiding.
Ryugi continued to walk towards the boy, sword on his shoulder. Six.

"Blah, whatever, s'not like this is real." Earth opened up underneath Ryugi, swallowed him whole.
Woot woot.

Or so Shouyin would have wished, but as the ground ripped open, Ryugi's back sprouted two dragon wings, which propelled him into the air, safe from falling.
Nice try, kid.
Seven. Tough talk indeed.

Blaaah, wings sprouted, stone flew up and caught the man's ankles, pulling him down.
Ground eating, commence.

Dip, dodge, duck, flip, barrel roll, spin.
It wasn't hard to avoid Shouyin's attacks, and every time, Ryugi got a little closer to the man. Eight.

Blaaah, if Ryugi got too close, a wall of moving column or stone would simply pop up in front of the winged guy, forcing him back again. If need be Shouyin would skip around or whatever, and by this I mean literally skip, all taunting and everything.
Shouyin wasn't an idiot, he had the entire terrain on his side, there was no way Ryugi would ever get close enough. And stone control was bloody child's play. If Shouyin could just remain patient enough and not get bored, then he could easily continue, keeping the man at a comfortable distance until he simply became too exhausted and messed up.
Then the ground that belonged to this half-golem would become his tomb.

Sadly, flying for Ryugi didn't take very much effort at all either. So, unless Shouyin wanted to get serious and stop playing around like a little kid, this was going to take a long time to finish. Nine.

Shouyin just sat there grinning. This could take as long as it wanted, but the outcome was obvious. Between sitting and thinking, and continuous flying with intense manoeuvres, which set of actions was likely to tire you out more quickly? And even then complete physical breakdown wasn't required, just an error in flight that allowed Shouyin's stone to reach Ryugi's body.
This was a game, and it was usually kids who had the most fun playing them. And our half-golem hero was truly just a rowdy teenager at heart.
So he could get by.

Ten. That was all he needed. By now, the ambient heat from Ryugi's body was strong enough to create an effective null zone against Shouyin's rock. It would be like throwing snow in front of a blowtorch. As the rock attempted to touch Ryugi, it would melt against the intense heat as Ryugi kept it close to his body. So much for fighting with a continent that didn't do much else but melt on you.
Ryugi then dove towards Shouyin, the rock barriers moving up to try and stop him simply couldn't as the scorching heat simply made the rock give way. It was like shooting a bullet through jello. The rock did nothing to hinder him. Ryugi might not have been able to raise the temperature around the area to a hot enough degree to melt and cook Shouyin, but he most CERTAINLY could raise it to that temperature around himself.
Playtime was over.

Blaaah, Shouyin would just put one wall up in front of Ryugi and recycle the melted stone. One continuously repairing wall that Ryugi could fly into until his charges ran out.
Playtime was apparently just beginning.
