Pirate_pixie Bonjour! Je me suis amus ée à lire ce "thread'. C'est int éressant... Comment-vas tout e l e monde? ça va pour moi =) Aquila15 Très bien pour moi, mais je crois q'on ne peut pas me voir o.o Personne ne parlent avec moi. mais si on te voit ! ^^ moi je ne te connais pas (je ne viens pas souvent sur ce topic), veux-tu me parler un peu de toi ?

I'm fluent in French on the most basic level.
Lulz, in other words I can only read kindergarten books with relative ease.

gonk Yeah, I'm doing French for A-level (UK equivalent of the Baccalauréat) and we have to read this book called "Bonjour Tristesse" and write an essay on it in french in our exam gonk

I have a question; I'm not sure if it's been asked, however. ninja
How does one pronounce the French "R"? I've heard it pronounced differently, and I can not imitate anyone of them- other than the English-ized French "R," which is just a French "R" pronounced as an English "R."

It's gutteral. You know the "ch" digraph found in Lithuanian? It's fairly similar, but it's a little bit farther back in the throat and is voiced. surprised
