And I'm not a huge fan of lamb, or fish stew. The pot luck idea is novel, but also impractical for people traveling long distances. xp I dunno if I want baba ghanoush all over my luggage. You just bring the recipe. An estimated total cost for food while camping last year was around 50 dollars, without any ready made stuff. It wasn't too terrible considering I was feeding 6 people. So, it's not that bad.
But then again, a couple of my friends did pitch in for food. Maddy brought cans of Annie soup, Alana brought homemade soup, some avocados, and edemame.
The potluck idea could maybe work though. (Crock pot dishes and such, they have lids and it's the tradition POTluck thing to bring.)
There's a lot of stuff that you could bring on the road, and even like a bag of funyuns or something.
American is a type of ethnicity, too.
