It was the product placement that seemed odd, more than the brute fact of advertising. After all, we've had advertising here for quite some time.

Gaia's recent effort to sum up Gaia in its own users' words has proven to be uncomfortably accurate.

Most of them seemed to have no life, and a tragic sense of sadness about them...as if somehow they're aware of their meaninglessness but powerless to change it.
Others are just embarrassing. Some girl waving her confused cat about, seems to sum it up, and this over-emphasis on their pets seems to underline the fundamental loneliness and friendlessness of the majority of contributors.


What say you?

Accurate, or a cunning move by Gaia to rebrand itself as a haven for useless people?

Well, the EDL and UAF have similarly stupid slogans and similar outlooks, but are far-left and far-right respectively.
