The trek through the jungle was long and arduous, to be sure. Still, young Jax Roosol would not be dettered. "Sith it, Jax! I can't believe you talked me into coming all the way out here!" called a young girl's voice. "Fine, Rin," Jax bluntly replied. "Turn back, see if I care. Chicken, chicken!" "I'm not a chicken, I'm a lady," Rin said indignantly. "And, the ruins aren't going to grow legs and walk here!" Jax cried out. "Let's go! Especially before the grown-ups show up and spoil our fun!"
In a nearby thicket, an amused "grown-up" chuckled. "You'll have your 'fun', young man," Mordranna softly declared. "Is that wise?" Tionne worriedly asked Mordranna. Mordranna pondered the question. "Way I see it, they should make the ruins by nightfall, correct?" Tionne nodded in response. "Yes," "Then, we'll see what they came for," Mordranna calmly stated. "And, I saw a path that will get us there well before they do, especially if we sprint there." "Then, let's go," Tionne said.

((I'm assuming that the droids aren't coming into the cavern I'm in, DA))
"Let's see... If the red power conduit can only be moved to a place where the blue conduit is not touching the yellow conduit, and the blaster symbol must be present in order for the green conduit to protect the lightsaber symbol..." Neb muttered, trying to figure out the trap.
Time was something he did not have. He estimated he was 78% done, as he already got the jedi symbol to pop out of the series, and the bowcaster side already let its half of the shell down, the only thing was left to get the lightsaber and the blaster over, but the lightsaber and blaster would only let the other side down if both together.
"How very annoying. This is most tedious. But then again, the Jedi are patient...."

By the standards of temples, the ruins weren't anything special. By that, one could have compared it to, say, a one room shack, in comparison to an average house in the suburbs. Still, Mordranna had a bad feeling about it, and told Tionne as much. "They're not here yet," "But, they'll come soon," Tionne countered. Mordranna shook her head. "This is the site where a ghost runs rampant?" "Yes, a minor ancient Sith. Not a Lord, however, but certainly sinister. And, more than a match for a padawan such as Jax, despite his bravado to the contrary," Tionne replied. "I see," Mordranna added with a nod. "Let's be on our guard, then,"

As the Outlander came to land in a hanger on Vergresso the loading ramp lowerd with a hiss.Waiting at it's entrance where the three crew members of the ship.Nicoli turned and faced the two droids."Wait here and guard the ship. You,make sure Oz here dosn't get nabbed."nicoli stepped off the ramp and walked across and out the hanger bay and into a crowded quarter of the space station.Quite a bit of bounties here.Wondering if there where any he knew from previous ventures Nicoli wandered through the streets looking for any general chaos to stop or profit from. His dark red mandalorian helmet attraced the eyes of many people in the crowded streets, wondering why there was a mandalorian there. Most pick-pockets seemed to avoid him, though at one point he thought he felt a hand or claw in his pocket, whatever it was he couldn't see anything when he turned to look.

Cale's eyes wandered out the window of the Doctor's establishment just in time to see a crimson clad mandelorian walk past. Cale recognized that outfit from Nal Hutta. "Figures. Bounty Hunter rock, Bounty Hunter reruns." he muttered. He doubted the Hunter saw him but he shared a glance with Rak and the outlaw rested his hand on his gun belt.

Use your emotions. Don't let them use you. "I don't wear my heart on my sleeve, like you, 'Master'!" he shouted back. Bright lightning jumped through the dark, knocking aside Chidee's saber, nearly striking it from his hands. Chidee could feel the sizzle and agony as the lightning crackled into him. A scream of pain escaped his clenched teeth as he was nearly swept away by the power. I will...stay in control. Control. Control myself, control my enemy, control the battle... With a cry of effort, he swung his lightsaber back into guard, splashing most of the lightning around him, lighting the room with a chaotically shifting glow. "You're pathetic!" he shouted back, "You can barely touch me, 'old man'." Use emotions; they don't have to be your emotions. "And I attack, though you might be too dim to notice, 'Master'." he taunted, as he pushed forward through the lightning, making a quick and simple chopping lunge towards Drako's chest.

"It seems we have some time to kill before our wayward padawans show up," Mordranna mused, looking about the ruins. Tionne nodded in agreement. "Yes. This place doesn't seem to be all that it was said to be," "Indeed. Still, I feel ilke there's more to it than this," Mordranna countered, looking around.
And so, the pair searched the ruins. "It seems to be a micro library," Tionne mentioned. "Doesn't really look as though there was much of anything of importance here, however," "True," Mordranna conceded. "Still ... ah ha! What's this?" she then called Tionne's attention to what appeared to be a holocron. "Ah, that's pretty nice." "Yes, it is. Do you think Master Skywalker may have use for it?" Mordranna offered thoughtfully. "Yes, it's possible," Tionne said. "Shall we take this back to him?"
At once, footsteps sounded behind the pair. "You found the treasure!" Jax gasped. He then looked to Mordranna. "Did you fight the ghost already?" Mordranna gave Jax a stern expression. "Young man. I don't know what you were thinking coming all this way. You put yourself, your young friend there," she said gesturing to Rin, the young girl he had in tow, "myself, and Master Tionne here in potential danger!" "But I wanted to fight a ghost!" Jax protested. "He'll never learn, I fear," sighed Rin, Jax's "partner in crime". Mordranna shook her head. "Well, in any case, it seems you're safe now. Let's get back to the temple,"
At once, a sinister voice called from behind them. "Leaving so soon?" The electronic voice belonged to a sinister black battle droid, much like the ancient HK type robots of years long past. "Statement: the young meatbag wishes a fight. Addendum: I'm here to grant that wish," Under different circumstances, the image may have been comical. But now, it was plenty deadly serious. "Not today," Mordranna sighed. "We're going back to the temple." "Aww," Jax groaned. He then flitted his way towards the HK robot, with such speed that Mordranna barely had time to react. "No, you don't! I'll handle this," she said, her cold tone not offering any room for debate, grabbing Jax's arm. The HK then readied a pair of wicked blasters, and fired away at the Jedi quartet ....

(( I didn't say if it was or not because I figured I'd let you decide. Though from your post, I take it as a no. ))
" You might want to come see this. I highly doubt it's what we're looking for, but since you're a Sith, you might find this interesting. " one of the Arch Angels commed the Dark Lady. " Very well, I'm on my way. " Angel replied. She left her group hiding and went off on her own to meet up with the 2 Arch Angels already inside the cave. As she ventured in, she saw the droids scattered about, scanning every inch for any trace of anything unusual. Coming to the Arch Angels, she saw what they had found, some wording on the wall of the cave in Ancient Sith. Angel began to read it. " Through my experience I have gained power, With that power I have conquered. Through my conquests I have achieved victory. With evrey victory, I grow stronger... " She then noticed the rest seemed to be more recent, as though they were carved in many years later. " ... Though my time grows shorter, my power remains. The secrets I carry will vanish with me... " Angel was puzzled. " Hmm... There seems like whoever it was must've died writing that, because it looks like there would be more... " One of the Arch Angels fell down, writhing in pain, bolts of electricity surrounding him. The other soon followed. " Well my dear, it seems you've found my little home and awakened me after all these years. Those Wookies were using my cave as a base for some scouting, but I didn't want to let myself be known to anyone I didn't feel would be worth my time. You can read my writing, so you must be special. " The ghostly form of an ancient Sith Lord appeared. " They're not in any danger. I just don't want anyone to interfere with us. " he said, motioning to the Arch Angels. " What do you want? " Angel asked. " Why, to fight you and see if you're truly worthy of my secrets. " the ghostly form replied. " I suppose I have no choice. Very well. En garde! " Angel pulled out her sabers and prepared to attack, as did the Sith Lord.

The sky blue blade of Mordranna came to life in a flash, just in the nick of time before the HK's bolts hit anyone. With sheer precision, Mordranna parried every bolt. Unworried, the HK still kept firing, as Mordranna approached the killer droid. She raised her saber in an arc, and swung, aiming to decapitate the droid. However, as her saber reached the neck, her lightsaber momentarily flickered out of existence. "Gleeful laughter! Statement: my outer body has a coat of cortosis, foolish meatbag," the HK cackled. It then continued to fire away, Mordranna barely managing to parry the bolts. However, even for all her skill, Rin caught a bolt to the side as she tackled Jax to the ground. Mordranna had to end this. And fast. Rin required medical attention. Her hand reached down to her belt, shifting her saber to her other hand. This weapon has blood on it, and has slain many, she mused, as her hand reached the butt of her old standby weapon. Her one time Imperial issue blaster. "Let's see if that cortosis is blaster-proof," Mordranna firmly stated, drawing the weapon with incredible speed. No more doubts. Now, this weapon will truly be used in the defense of others! Her aim was never more true, especially guided by the Force. One could say that she could have picked a fly on top of the praxeum off at that moment if she so chose. And at this close range, the HK had no chance. The blaster's multiple reports echoed in the small chamber, Mordranna thumbing the fire control for automatic, with three shots firing with each squeeze of the actuator. She continued to fire as the brittle cortosis chipped away, and within a minute, the HK was smoking scrap. It may be uncivilized. But it works, Mordranna absently mused, her gaze fixed on the still hot and smoking barrel of her blaster. She then holstered it, and reached into the Force to heal Rin's wound. Jax looked away with a downcast expression as Mordranna tended to the other padawan. "W-will she live?" Jax tentatively asked. "I think so," Mordranna replied. She then turned her attention back to Rin. "Feel any better?" "Laser ... hurts ..." Rin sobbed. As the group stepped outside into the Yavin night, Mordranna made note of a decent sized clearing. Still carrying Rin, she thumbed her comlink. "General Brunhildt to Hope Eagle, come in please." "Kantz here, General! What do you need?" came the reply, as Mordranna explained the situation. "I'll scramble that shuttle right away!" Kantz replied.

A beautiful light show soon started as the sabers clashed and illuminated the cave as they did. After several attacks, neither Angel nor the ghostly Sith Lord made any progress, as they were about equal in skill. " You are indeed skilled with your sabers, young Sith, but I can sense the Light Side within you. This is most disturbing... " the ghost said. " I'm no true Sith, nor do I desire to be, but I will not leave the Dark Side either, not yet... " Angel said. Their blades met several more times. " Yet? Pray tell, what do you mean by that? " the Sith Lord asked. " Someone special to me walks the path of Darkness. I will not abandon him, so I cannot leave the Dark Side, but if he can be saved, I will forsake this accursed darkness that has made me live a lie almost my whole life. " Angel replied, remembering how she was blinded to the truth of her loss of her adopted family. Once again, the sabers clashed several more times. " I see. Then you have already decided to turn Jedi once you have the chance without the risk of losing that special person? " the ghost asked. " Yes, and do not think of that as a weakness. We give each other strength when we are together, so being with him only makes me stronger. " Angel said. Suddenly, the Sith Lord stopped, and deactived his saber. " You are indeed someone strong, and more than myself when I was in your state. I too, wanted to switch sides, but unlike you, I could not decide on anything, and it ultimately lead to my demise. I can tell you are a good person, and I will entrust my knowledge to you. " He then instructed Angel to start meditating, and as she did, his words filled her mind, and as she listened, she felt a stronger connection to the Force. She felt the Light Side grow stronger inside her, to the point it was almost equally as strong as the Dark Side, though it was only such as long as she remained in her tranquil, meditative state. Once finished, the Sith Lord began to fade away, giving her an ominous warning. " Heed my words, it will take a tragedy to save the one you love... " Suddenly, a voice rang inside her head. " Lady Valycia! Are you alright? " one of the Arch Angels asked. Suddenly there she was, just standing there in the cave, staring at the Ancient Sith markings, both Arch Angels up and about. " You've had a blank staring look in your eyes for the past 5 minutes. Are you okay? " " Huh? I'm fine. I just... got a weird feeling reading that... " Angel said. " What... Was it a dream? Did I really fight the ghost of a Sith Lord, or did reading the markings cause me to see things? " she thought.

Side stepping Drakos powerful leg came up into his learners gut.
" Now....if you had felt the power of the dark side....you might have hit me. But you are thinking like a Jedi. Use the power! " Drako let his learner drop to the ground.
" Hate.... Hate is a powerful thing.....It is what drives me. That is why i am the teacher...you are the learner. What do you hate? "
Drako picked Chidee up by force choking him up.
" Come now....you dont have much time.... "

Young Jax fretted over young Rin's injury. "She's gonna make it, right, Master Brunhildt, Master Tionne?" Mordranna turned to Jax. "First off, I'm obligated to tell you that I'm not a master yet," she began with a light chuckle. "And, she'll be fine. The shuttle should be here shortly," "It was foolish for me to come out here," Jax mournfully added. "And Master Skywalker's gonna give me the business when I get back." He then sighed. "You see, I thought that I'd defeat the monster, and then be as good as anyone. Masters Skywalker, Solusar and the others. And, all I got for it was Rin being hurt," Mordranna looked thoughtfully to Jax, and gently rested her hand on his shoulder. "You care for her, don't you?" Jax blushed at that. "H-hey! How did you know?!" Mordranna stifled a chuckle. "It doesn't take Force mastery to see it. Your concern for her is on your face. And, might I venture that your wish to protect her is there, as well?" "T-they should make you a master, if you can figure that out," Jax stammered. "Well, if that's how you feel, then allow me to give you a free lesson here," Mordranna chuckled again. "True courage is not being 'cool' for your peers. It's knowing the right thing, and doing it. It's protecting that which is dear to you." "You think so?" "I know so," Mordranna replied. "Now come. The shuttle is here to take us back," she announced as the shuttle landed in the clearing, accompanied by an X-wing and an A-wing, which flew in a circle overhead.
