The leader was already down and his rage wasn't sated just yet. Suddenly invisible enemies were all around him, Akuma paused mid-air as they attacked, he raised the scimitars above his head blocking their blades. He would seem to falter for a moment as his hands dropped from the hilts of the scimitars, but he only loosened his grip to grasp another hilt. He pulled on a hilt of a blade that was wrapped around his middle like a belt. This blade was deadly sharp, but made of a flexible alloy making it a deadly blade whip. he swung it in a circle around him the bladed enemies disappearing.

He caught and sheathed the scimitars before they could fall to the earth. Akuma never even saw the wind blades coming they struck him tearing numerous cuts all over his body. He began fall earthward and was only saved by lashing the flexible blade around a roof post. As he fell he unsheathed one of the larger blades, a thick zanbatou. He slashed sideways hoping to eliminate all the casters in one stroke. "All of you will go back to darkness from which you came! That is my vow!" his eyes glowed ice blue as his chakra raged around him.

Akuma was powerless against the onslaught of the ruler heartless, he was dragged into the world of darkness and bound by the chains"I'm no normal nin! You killed my friends and my idols! My hate for you will give me the strength to kill you all! Flaming Tantos!" Akuma had preformed the hand seals one handed and now two flaming blades appeared in his hands shearing through the chain binding him. The blow of the huge heartless fist connected solidly with Akuma's chest cracking several ribs. Akuma paid the injury no heed jamming the two flaming blades into the fist of the ruler heartless.

Akuma used his leverage to flip up on onto the Ruler's arm and began to run up the beast's arm. He drew a strange shaped blade from his back, this blade simply seemed to be a gnarled tree branch attached to the hilt. "Blossom! Kyōka Suigetsu!" said Akuma calling the true name of the blade. the blade seemed to blossom as countless flowers of different varieties appeared on the branch blade. Using the ruler's own arm as a spring board he leaped towards it's head. "Scatter!" the blade seemed to explode outwards as the flower petals surged outward slicing anything in their way.

“well...it looks like we have our work cut out for us." said Nazuki as she started making handseals. "I'll try and trap the ones that are coming, but I won't pull out my offensive technique till it's absolutely necessary. With that, Nazuki executed antlion technique, digging into the ground and creating a funnel in the ground underneath the feet of the heartless with a suction effect, pulling them into the ground.

Nazuki expanded the technique , but she knew she couldn't hold it too long or she'll lose the chakra necessary to perform ephemeral vengeance. She hoped tamao can handle the offense alone once she's trapped them.

Nazuki felt the vibration from the explosions and knew that Tamao did something impressive. But it wasn't the end. She felt footsteps, light but definite. There were atleast a dozen more of those creatures, and they were approaching quite fast. She didn't observe them as having ears...so genjutsu probably didn't effect them. She only had this one technique to capture them too...

Nazuki thought about ephemeral vengeance. No doubt it was one of the strongest ninjutsu in existence, but once she used it she would be completely vulnerable and she won't be able to use any more techniques.

Nazuki made some mental calculations...if she could get all of the creatures with her technique for only a split second, then she would still have enough chakra to fly away. Nazuki motioned to Tamao and then told her to try and capture as many of them as she can. Meanwhile Nazuki put her palms together and focused her chakra into wings.

The wings appeared and started glowing with another intensity that illuminated the entire darkening forest...the pure chakra used in this technique was enormous. Nazuki felt incredible power lift her off the ground until she was hovering three metres in the air....She was ready.

Tamao

Tamao looked a little concerned, she had the feeling Nazuki was going to try something big. Big and dangerous. But she didn't say anything, she trusted the other girl to know her limits. So she merely nodded, siphoning more of her chakra into the technique, sending more hands to further bind the Heartless and bring them together. they weren't stupid, they'd begin melting into the shadows before much longer. Whatever Nazuki was going to do, she had to di it now. If they waited too long, it'd be too late. She held onto the technique as long as she could, doing her best to keep a firm grip on the creatures, whatever they were.

I feel empty... Is this how it's supposed to be? His vision was slanted through a visor. He had come out of the darkness changed. He was not simply Akuma anymore, he was something less. Dressed in silver his body was different now more powerful. He felt blades shift into his hands. Now perish.. fill the void... In a flash of dazzling blades he vanquished the bomb heartless and leaped clear of their charges landing in a crouched position his mask falling off. "Now who's next?" the clothes were new, the body even felt new, but most of all he felt lighter as if something was missing. It pained him, but the pain abated whenever he vanquished a heartless.
