Seph shook her head rapidly "No no I would rather remember this night thank you very much so lets leave that one for now... open Hayate's as I'm guessing he's got better taste in alcohol than Alpha. Or if you feel you have someting better then surprise me. Oh and maybe you could bring up some walm blankets, theres a chill in the air picking up" she suggested.
Runide giggled picking up on Zadina's excitement "No offence but Mr Awessi doesn't do that much amazing things except for his mime act and occasionally as a stand in for someone that cant perform" she stated swiping her paw in the empty space directly below the floating demon.
Awessi sighed and shook head somewhat amused by Zadina "Well its a pleasure to be met by you Mr Zadina and Ms Amane but Runide is partially right for everyone does what ever they can be to helpful to eachother in this circus" he modestly answered offering them both a handshake.
Amane struggled to hide a small frown but managed to bring herself,to shake the demons hands "I dont really know much about mimes but apparently you guys are really cool and can do pretty much everything" she recalled both Zadina and Hebal mentioning.

Satoshi nodded "Yeah plus the higher ranked ninja get higher pay missions. The village only takes what it needs to keep going so the higher the mission pay, the lower the percentage of the pay they need to keep hold of. Which is basically how it works on paper anyway. Except for Takeo he's special" she explained watching the first test firework explode and almost jumping at the sudden noise.
Takeo shrugged "I only get more pay than Hitomi becuase the village is desperate for more trained medics. I'm technically in a different devision to you guys so don't count anyway" he answered snickering at Satoshi's reaction "Guess we'll be starting soon, they'll want to set them off at midnight exactly.Couple of minutes tops."
"So Gil, when was the last time you ever did anything for the festival? Im guessing you don't usually take a rest from working for the holidays" Hitomi asked.

Gil smiled giving Satoshi a gentle hug seeing her almost jump "Well no I don't normally celebrate the dragon festival no, I don't always work over it unless it's an important job neither best I'll normally do is enjoy a nice meal in a restaurant or something" he said.
Zadina shook his head "Nah uh his power allows him to do almost anything with little to no training so that's really cool don't you think?" he said to Runide while shaking Awessi's hand "It's a truly amazing talent he has but sorry I'm getting off topic" Zadina said a little embarrassed at his excitement "Still what kind of fireworks do we have here Mr Awessi?" he asked.
Itaka nodded "There should be blankets up there already but sure I'll bring something up though it's not like you to complain about the cold" he said going over to the fire and beginning to put it out.

Seph shook her head helping Itaka out with a quick sweep of her magic to finish off the fire "It wasn't me I was thinking about. It was you as you guys get cold pretty easily. Guess it's Oassu we should be feeling sorry for, he's going to be freezing his a** off in Yithra. Plus your house is better than Felina's" she laughed leaning against the door frame.
Awessi raised his eyebrow glancing back at the fireworks "Well I must say thats the first time I've seen someone get so excited about meeting a mime. Most are more interested in how I can float than anything else" he replied with a small snicker. "Still, your not asking the right person if you want to know what kind of fireworks all of these are as I'm no fire expert nor do I know how to set fireworks up at that. I just know that this one I am setting up now is going to come out as a big green fish when it goes off. And then theres some rainbow coloured ones just behind me and no. You cant eat the fish" he added spotting Runide's eyes light up at the mention of fish.
Amane laughed looking around for the rainbow fireworks "So Im guessing your using your mime skills right now to set the fireworks up" she asked and smiled upon receiving a nod "Im looking forward to your fireworks and Zadina is like a real big fan of you already" she added teasingly"

"Sounds nice but i'm guessing it might be hard to get a table over the festival because a lot of people like to have a good fancy dinner on the day but can't cook" Satoshi replied stroking Gil's lower arms "But look it's starting now" she added pointing to the first firework just seconds before it was launched up onto the sky.
Hitomi gasped and mumbled a small ohh at the first explosion "Finally, that took long enough. Happy dragon festival everyone" Hitomi cheered excitedly then leaned back for a better view of the sky. "Glad you always get to celebrate somehow them gil because otherwise that would be sad"

Gil smiled "Well I've never had any trouble, a pub would do even for a nice meal just something I don't have to cook or hunt myself, is a relief" he said happily snuggling Satoshi.
Itaka chuckled "Nice of you to care and yeah I imagine he'll be suffering, Yithra has really bad winters but you go on up and I'll join you later" he said moving over to the small tree with presents underneath it.
Zadina giggled petting Runide "You really do love your fish don't you Runide?" he said blushing slightly at Amane's comment "Hey be nice, Mimes have unique abilities which are pretty impressive" He said shuffling slightly "I'm a sage so I've got an interest in studying anything magical even things I can't do myself" he said.

Seph nodded taking one last look at thr tree "Yep cold winters and long dark nights. That can make many people feel somewhat depressed. But enough of that I'll see you up stairs and try not to take too long" she added with a wink.
Runide nodded without a second of hesitation "Yep yep I love fish because its the yummiest food in the whole wide world and its so hard to get hold of nowerdays because this bangaa place doesnt have many rivers. Though I'm pretty sure sage is also a type of food" she pondered.
Amane nodded her head "Yeah it is a type of herb but its also a mage who can use many kinds of magic. Zadina isn't edible silly and don't try eating the firework it sounds like it would be really painful" she added with a small giggle.
Avessi smirked shaking his head at Amane "Just dont bother trying to explain that one, she's always into food. Besides everyone has their own unique set of abilities like your magic is pretty unique to you" he assured Zadina attatching the next firework to the stand positioning it upright. "So what brings you to this place, it can't be just to see myself"

Satoshi smiled back leaning her head against Gil while she gazed up at the sky "Well hopefully the pubs you go to aren't as chaotic as this place but the staff are happy because they get triple pay over the festival. Hope you at least got a good desert with that meal. And that little sign in the fireworks up there...mit basically says happy dragon festival" she translated.
"Also says don't try this at home without gloves on. I would have thought that would be common sense" Hitomi added reaching over and cautiously petting Enkidu on the head then Terrato, gasping siddenly as Terrato slithered down Gil's arm and onto her shoulders. "Your snake is taking this very well. I didn't think they liked loud nouses or is that just the vibrations they make they dont like" she pondered.

Gil nodded looking at the characters in the sky as he petting a quietly growling Enkidu "Enkidu isn't such a fan of loud fireworks like that, wise to associate such noises with danger but he's used to them by now I imagine" he said as Enkidu quietened down.
Zadina giggled "No I'm not food Runide but it is a herb" he said shaking his head "Though we're here with Cap'n Alpha he's here to visit his daughter Miss Mu for the Dragon festival and Miss Amane is enjoying her first trip outside her forest with her mother" he said.

Awessi scratched his chin glancing over at Mu, the old fire demon and the viera. "Well that makes sense. I think I have met Mr Alpha a few times. He seems ok but we have never really spoken to eachother that much. Though if I were you I would have picked a better area for your first trip out. The eastern continents are really pretty for example unlike this bangaa land" he recommended.
Amane shrugged "Well I'll take our word for it sir and when I go in my pilgrimage I'll be sure to try and see for myself and find the opportunity to visit the country while on my pilgrimage. I'm off to be a summoner" she explained.
Runide paused immediately taking a break from scratching her ear "Your a summoner? Does that mean you can summon big scary dragons and demons and unicorns and a phoenix. And can you fly them?" she asked taking a sidden interest.
Amane blushed shaking her head "Well umm... not yet I can't summon big dragons and such. I'm still a summoner in training but I am training. But I can summon squirrels and other small animals" she added.

Hitomi frowned instinctively pulling her hand away from Enkidu the moment she heard him growl "Oh sorry I didn't think you would mind being petted a little" she sighed turning her attention instead to Terrato so to gently move him further down her arm. "Well most people as well as animals dont like the loud noises. The elves I hear and the viera especially hate it"
Satoshi laughed thinking it was funny Terrato had found a new climbing frame "Dont take it personally Hitomi, I think he's just on edge because of the fireworks. At least Terrato likes you... makes a change because he's usually pretty antisocial. Though I've travelled wth both and the elves have been generally fine with loud noises, viera not so much. That or the elves complain less"

Gil smiled glancing at Hitomi "Don't sweat it he was just irritated by the fireworks but yeah though Viera are sensitive to more things than most because they've got really powerful noses as well, guess if they closed their eyes a fireworks show must be like a warzone to them with all the sounds and smells." he said
Zadina frowned petting Amane's ears "One day she'll be a really good summoner though, in fact after this stop on our trip we'll be going to see the king of the elves, he's a big summoner too and he'll give Amane tips on how to summon amazing things like bahamut" he said not wanting to see Amane sad

Amane nodded a little surprised "Uhh yeah because Zadina's like elven royalty and super special and when I can summon a big dragon I promise I'll come back and see you perform as a master acrobat and show you a dragon. How does that sound?" she asked Runide with a small smile.
Runide paused and nodded with a very quiet mumble about already being a great acrobat "Sure that sounds ok and maybe you could summon me a nice fish or mouse to eat so I won't have to perform on an empty stomach. And hopefully your elf king is a lot nicer than the demon one. My mum always told me he was bad"
Awessi snickered scratching Runide's ear and resulting in a quiet purr from the demon "Sounds like a good deal to me so long as your careful about where you summon it. King of the elves you say? I heard the man is meant to be a giant and a somehat deadly warrior in battle. Apparently the elves slaughtered the demon wars when they tried to attack their capital " he recalled.

Hitomi scratched her head unsure "I dunno about that I always thought viera were a little less advanced than that when it came to weapons. Gunpowder is mostly a dwarven thing but bangaa and some humans and other less magic focused groups have taken to them and the viera only really tend to fight amongst eachother" she predicted.
Satoshi nodded "Yeah the ones around here are hard to find but apparently they are extremely territorial. They also have much darker fur than Hebal does and they are male near here which might make a difference. But Im sure its not all bad for viera, I bet nice food smells even more amazing to them for example"

Gil smiled as fireworks of various ninja animals exploded in the sky "Yeah they are fierce fighters and far more aggressive than the female villages and yeah Viera would probably hate gunpowder weapons just saying I doubt they'd get much enjoyment out of a firework show" he said.
Zadina giggled hearing Runide and scratching her other ear quite enjoying the sound "Well you certainly are a great acrobat but would be nice to see you again she means, still my uncle is pretty tall but he doesn't really fight much as I've seen he's scary when he's cross with you though" he said looking over at the others setting up fireworks.
