Maxine sighed and rolled her eyes at Nadea and kept listening to what Shadow was saying intently, "I...have never had a mate..."
She blushed quickly.

Shadow smiled at Nadea, "Hello Nadea. Good to see you again." he said before looked back over to Maxine. "Having a mate can be a truely wonderous thing but it isn't always that way. In time you will know what it is like."

Nadea was an easy woman to get along with but...being deliberately rude to her was not a way to get on her friends list. She simply smiled at the girl and waved to Shadow before walking lightly to the kitchen to retrieve a bottle of blood, downing it quickly before returning to the dinning room. She seated herself in her usual chair in front of the fireplace and lit up a cigarette, a small cloud of smoke billowed from her parted lips and permeated the air above her head. She crossed her legs and stared into the fire, her mind drifting off into horrible things that made her smile. "Evening Shadow...and who is your...wonderful friend?" Nadea asked softly.

Maxine sighed not really caring whether she was on anyones' good side right now except Shadow. He was the only one she knew who was a man she could trust. She wasn't sure if she could trust anyone else yet. She looked up to Nadea, "I'm Maxine. My friends call me Max." she looked to Shadow, "Could I get another Cig, Shadow?"

Shadow nodded to Maxine and pulled his pack out of his pocket. "Sure, here." he said as he looked over to Nadea. "Maxine is the newest addition to my ever expanding blood line. A skilled fighter too." Shadow said with a smile, remembering thier little duel. He then felt the tiredness kicking in. He hadn't slept for the past few nights. "If you two will excuse me please, I must rest."

"Ahh i see...i certainly do hope she can learn to trust people. Perhaps her new vampire powers will allow her to see that..." she sighed and got up as well, giving the girl yet another warm smile as she walked past her. "Goodnight to you Maxine....and you Shadow." she smiled softly at him before sending him a message. "You know what she's trying to do..." and with that, Nadea disappeared on the spot to her tower for the night.

((getting tired irl too?)) Maxine nodded and lit her cig and took a puff. She sighed and touched his shoulder, "Rest well."
She smirked remember the wound she left him and laughed a little. She was glad their kind healed fast or she would be feeling pretty bad right now.
"We will rematch when you are rested enough, Shadow." she said promisingly.

"Good night Nadea..." He said as he heard her message within his mind. He didn't quite understand it He was too tired to understand most things right now. "I will rest well and you do the same. You will need it for our rematch but don't forget, your win still counts." Shadow said with a slight bow.

(( i am getting tired too, been up since 5am and its now 1:13am the next day. lol))
Maxine stands slowly and puts out her cig and saves the rest for later, "Night, Nadea."
She smiles and walks up the stairs and into her room and lies down sighing happily that they were able to talk.

in all the years being gone aurora was back scared about coming back really she never told anyone that she was leaveing as she took a deep breath and walked pass the gate and looked at the house "looks that same im glad" she said smileing so much " i hope no one going to be mad at me... man i dont know if i should go in " she said so scared to walk any more, sweating of all this time. aurora walked one step at a time trying to get closer to the house back stoped and just sat down on the floor looking at the house. aurora changed over the years and hope that everyone stell knows her ( Really really sorry for not being on i was besy with college and work yeah im going to changed now =p this is what im going to look like for now  )

spike woke up with his head on the book he was reading "huh.... oh... i fell asleep....." spike said then got up and wandered downstairs and into the dinning room and sat in his chair by the window and yawned slightly as he leaned back on the chair and looked out the window

spike stood up as he smelled a old but familiar scent "aurora?...... AURORA!!!!" spike said then ran out and dived on her waving his dragon like tail in the air behind him "hey ^_^" spike said and smiled "bet you remember me ^_^"
