Baizou purred and kissed her again, "You will be very bored. I can sleep for a long time." He said, reaching over to stroke her wings affectionately. "Just stay with me and tuck me in when you leave."

"Nah" she said chearfully to him
"I'm used to being desired for my slave qualities.. the guards still bug me about it every now and then even though i'm free"s he told him quitly but still smiling
"So it dosen't bother me

"No." she replied, laughing softly. Her wings moved in against his touch, as she smiled. "I will read a book or something. I won't abandon you up there to fend for yourself. Whether you like it or not, silly." she tease, kissing his neck again, and a hand reaching up to rub behind his ear, at the base.

"Thanks," Arlen said, hesitating slightly before adding. "Sister."
"I will do my best to protect you though," he said with certainty, taking her hand and giving it a squeeze. "So you don't have to worry about him or the guards."

Baizou smiled back at her, "I would love it." He countered, uncurling his tail from her wrist, only to wrap it around her ankle. He sighed contently, completely relaxed, "I love you, Ellie." he whispered.

Fingers gently caressing his ear, she smiled. "Yes. I love you too." Dropping her hand finally from his ear, she wrapped her fingers around one of his hands. "Would you like to go upstairs now, Baizou?" she asked, kissing him on the cheek, and her eyes shining, trying to sway his answer in an upwards direction.

"It's called french toast," Arlen said, grabbing a napkin to wipe her chin and ear. "It's really easy to make too if you want to learn some time."

The sound of his name on her lips sent wonderful chills down his spine. Baizou laughed and squeezed her hands. "If that is where you would rather go, yes." He said, gently pulling her towards the stairs.

Quickly Ellie hop-skipped after him, smiling and leaning against him. As always she did, Ellie ran up the stairs ahead of him, and this time she dove straight into bed. She was already in pajamas, and she giggled to herself, rolling over and sitting up, watching the doorway with bright eyes.

Baizou tore after her, know it to be useless, but fun anyway. He skidded to a stop, tail wagging anxiously before pushing himself under the covers. His lips connected with Ellie's and he pulled her into his arms. "Be my teddy bear. Keep my bad dreams away." He murmured with a smirk. "Good night, love."
