Uhm, Kuro? That... that's kinda the point of creating a character O-o
And over thinking is good... last minute change/Addition aren't really... If you suddenly think of something, than that means it wasn't good to begin with. You're just adding stuff for the sake of adding stuff, which usually comes as a bad move.

I'm updating things slowly and any suggestions where to send Amanda? Only problem is that it will be slow posting due to the football game that's coming on that I need to be watching hehe.

@Kuro: :'o ...A solid character is based on a solid history. o.o If you don't have a firm idea on what happened to him before he starts interacting with others, he becomes kinda.. elastic. XD Which is less, er, 'real'? XD I know inside a book, the author ALWAYS has a good idea of the characters before she/he shoves them in. o.o Overthinking is the fun inside designing a character. XD You want to try and make them as human as possible!

@Lone: Well see, thats where we are different. When you think hard and long about your character you can think of everything to the perfect tee with them. With me, and this happened to me in school when I wrote papers too, if I spend too much time thinking on something, I end up messing the whole thing up! I used to do that when I first got into Rping and I tended to start to hate my characters and myself because I went too indepth with them. Like my school reports, if I spent hours and days on them, I got horrible grades. When I got basic info and let it slowly come to me, I got better grades. So I take things slow, add when it comes to me and I still love playing my character. If this doesn't make sense to you, then oh well but it makes perfect logic in my mind. mrgreen

xD; I hate to be at all.. catty, but..
While we're on the topic of it, I understand what you mean. :'o I get it, but that's only because I was thinking the same way when I first got into RPing. We're not saying, hey, write out every little detail, right down to the mole on their a**, we're saying that a character should at least be fleshed out instead of thrown into the real world as a skeleton. o.o The history of a person MAKES that person who they are, so it's a given that a history should be thought of first and foremost as the most important aspect of a character. Age, appearances, hell, even gender is secondary to that. XD
Maybe it's not so much overthinking it as a lack of organization? :'o It took me awhile to learn how to keep all the info I had correctly, in both essays and characters. XD
That's my and, I believe, Lone's beliefs on it, anyway. :'o
