Baizou's end of the kiss was a bit more passionate than usual and he seemed clingier. He didn't follow her every step, but he kept his eyes on her as she moved away.

Once giving the tea to Tomo, Ellie returned to Bai's arms, feeling that some how, he was a bit more meaningful in his actions. "How was your day.. Love?' she asked,smiling warmly, and kissing his chin a few times.

"Okay," Arlen said, disappearing into the kitchen again and cooking up a large batch of french toast that he intended to split with Ukaia. Setting the finished toast, butter, maple syrup, powdered sugar, a few plates, and a couple glasses of OJ, as well as silver ware, onto a tray he carried it all out and set it down on the bar. "Dig in," he said, before making his way back around to sit next to Ukaia.

"Wow thank you.. iv'e never had this before" Uakai said brightly as she happly cut and took a bit. She bgan chewing delightedly

Baizou shrugged a little, "Did not get much sleep, but otherwise okay." He replied softly, ears laid back on his head. He slipped his arms around her waist and swayed with her a little.

"I hope you like it," Arlen said, grabbing a few pieces for himself and pouring syrup over them (because french toast is really just an excuse to eat mapel syrup). "So Ukaia," Arlen said a bit nervously. "Do you remember about a week ago when I called you sister?"

Ellie's hands rubbed Baizou's back, as she swayed with him, slipping a sneaky hand onto his tail, and running one fingernail in a small spot, her other hand still on hi back. "Usually you're a sleeping monster.. Was something wrong?"

Uakai grinned a bit of the syrup driblbing down her chin
"Love it"s eh said.. then blinked a bit and licked her lips thinking
"yes.. sort of. " she said frowning. With how much Tynan had been messing with her head it was sort of hard to sort out what she knew and what she didn't or thought she knew
"yes i remember.. why?" she asked

"Well," Arlen busied himself with cutting up his toast. "You're not upset or anything are you? I mean, is it a problem, cause I've kinda been thinking of you as a surrogate older sister for a while, but I was worried you would be opposed to the idea so I didn't say anything, but then I was all muddled with the fever and all and it kinda slipped out."

Baizou pulled his tail up and wrapped it around her wrist, "Just some scary dreams, that is all." He said, gripping the back of her shirt. "But everything is okay, now." He added.

"Well of course they are.. I'm here..." she said, the tips of her wings brushing against his tail. "I hope you are okay tonight. I'll stay with you until you wake up, just in case." she reassured laughing a little, and kissing his neck, smiling into his skin.

"Why would i be upset?" she asked and then leaned over and kissed his cheek

Arlen looked up at ukaia and smiled. "Thanks Ukaia. I can't shake the feeling that this Tynan guy's hear because of me and was worried you might resent me for it," he admitted.
