Maxine decided to be a smart allic and lean closer to him, "Yep. I'm just fine. How about you?"
Though, to tell the truth she was rather comfortable where she was.

"I'm good. This spot has everything you could hope for." Shadow said as he proped himself up with his elbows. He didn't intend on going anywhere right now. He was just glad that he didn't land on his sword.

Shadow threw an arm around Maxine. He was a little shocked by her actions but he decided to go with it. He didn't mind this at all once the initial shock factor had worn off.

Maxine was a bit shocked herself when he threw his arm around her. She laughed and blushed quite a bit.

Shadow gave Maxine a warm smile and done nothing more. He was not quite comfortable and had no intention on moving until she did. He would just sit there and enjoy the view.

Maxine giggles and stands quickly. She then smirked and crossed her arms, "Sorry, was I teasing you? No wait I am not sorry. Though it wasn't meant to offend you."

Shadow stood up when he was able to and dusted himself off. "There was no offence taken. To be honest I don't know how any could take offence to that." He said as he picked up his sword and sheethed it.

Shadow took a seat next to Maxine and took his lighter. "Well..." Shadow started as he took a cig out of his pocket and lit it. "Yes, actualy." he added as he offered Maxine a cig.

Shadow took a very long draw from his cig and exhaled it in a single constant stream. "Yes, I like you." Shadow said casualy before taking another draw.
