Man, I hate it when that happens, gettin' directions mixed up in a battle. It may sound stupid, but I sometimes mix up left and right. I might even think "left, left, left" but type right. I know it's gonna mess me up this tourney. Already did in a sparring match.

Though, he's honestly just pondering taking the hit to the leg and continuing with the strike...which would make for a quick post, at least. xD

*Shrug* Just go with that, then. The fall is the best counter for that situation anyway, methinks...even with you not pulling down, you're pulling forward, so Trei can still go all noodley on ya and drop down below the strike.

I've a question, in my fight with shadow.
He said about his whole attack from behind, and I did my defense, but what he did was changed his initial attack to allow for him to move his "roaming chaos" to move in the way. Not only did he say he was going extremely fast, but he claims he saw this all from behind me. Now if I'm not mistaken, he never stated how high in the air he had gone before coming down, but from the way he says it, it sounds like he's fairly close.
So if you think about it, he had his original attack, that even went to the point of striking at my head. Then in his next post he said that instead the "roaming chaos" moved down to below his foot to block my defense, whereas before he said it was just floating around him.

Also, I said that the blade had been coming up just as he was coming down, so they wouldn't be very obvious to see through his leg if you think about it.

Lordy, rough bout of PM's, that one. All of Commerce is set up. There are a few people that really want to enter and somehow got mixed up in the confusion of registry, so I think if there are some no-shows, I'll slide those people in instead of having a forfeit.
In other news...I'm not sure how long this tournament will take to complete, but if it turns into an "outwhatever, outblah, outlast" Survivor-type ordeal, then so be it. I really think it'll pick up once the rounds start narrowing down, and I'm going to continue to do my best, but depending on the turn-out, I might not do one next summer. If I do, it'll be much smaller and more organized. Point is, this is going to finish, one way or another, and whatever happens next is outta the picture right now. Actually I'm just rambling.
I've also decided to leave the guild up all year round. I think. Depending on how I feel about running a guild when it's all over, and pending how many stick around, events and ranking systems inspired by my old fight club and the old Fighters Guild might be fun. Fight more, move up in the ranks and attain more recognition. It'll just be an all-around fighting guild that brings all classes together to hang out and...duke it out. Might add treacherous areas to fight in, let people make little competing factions of their own or have small team tournaments, let people train others in their fighting style, and some subforum additions (following everything being archived after the tournament) like an OOC area for people to make threads about whatever and another for one-on-one grudge matches might be cool.
Whatever, you know? Fighters haven with all your fighting needs, pooling it all together. Sponsored by the people, for the people. Training for the next installment of the Gaian Tenkaichi Budoukai...aspiring to be...the greatest!

I'm getting tired of trying to figure this stuff out with people, it's usually the whole "I'm right, no I'm right, no I'm right" and GAH! So I'm coming to the judge right away to avoid any stupid hassle. sweatdrop
