So, it looks like I will prolly be quitting my second job, cashier at a store.
Since i started there a few months ago, I have done backshift every saturday night, and some fridays.
AS you can probably tell with that, I don't really get much time to myself at all.
Yesterday I found out that there is a concert next saturday of all Local Metal Bands (and oh my god they rock, look for Athymia - The Gift, on youtube)
So I called up my manager a few minutes ago, and told him I want next satuday off, cause there is a concert I want to go to, and seeing as how I have done every saturday for the past while, and has no time to myself (Job One Shifts- Mon-Fri 9am - 530pm, Job 2 Tues,Wed,Fri 6-9pm, saturday Backshift) it would only be fair.
He said right now it looks like the only way I can have it off, is if I work Backshift on Sunday. As I told him "Man, I work 9am the next day, so thats not going to happen".
Right now, I stand on a very fine line. I'm tired of gettin the s**t shifts up there, just because other people bluntly REFUSE to do backshifts or weekends.
So the way I see it. When I get a look at the new schedule, if I have to work next Saturday, I quit. Good chance I will walk out waveing the one finger salute as well twisted
