Oh, shi-what is she still doing here? Did the bartender have something to do with this? Tony cursed in his mind. He had hoped Laura wouldn't notice him because of his new hair. ((decided to leave it)) Obviously that wasn't the case. She must have heard his voice or recognised his face. He had taken the contacts out a while ago as they were no longer needed. Perhaps I should have kept my sunglasses on Tony thought in his head.


"Hello Laura, I thought you had gone on your mission" Tony said and gave Laura a light pat type of hug.

The secretary notified Arthur that Sami...or rather Juliana was there to see him.


Arthur had her called into his office.

"Not at all. In fact we'll probably need you, since a couple of incidents have caused the number of officers to decrease a little bit" Arthur said, "though provided you have a proper background in police authority and can complete the test". He typed up on his computer 'Juliana''s police history to see her credentials and if she in fact had previous police training.

"You dyed your hair red." Laura blinked. "It looks good." She smiled. "But then again, you're the type of person that would look good in just about everything. Can I buy you a whiskey while you tell me about your mission real quick?" She asked, giving Tony innocent puppy dog eyes. Inside, she was still mad about him cheating on her, but when she looked at him, she forgave him.

"Sure. Go ahead. Oh, and nothing really exciting is going on with my mission" Tony said, lying a bit.



Arthur took the paper. "Alright, looks good" he said while reading it. He then looked at Sami. "Now I'm going to quiz you" he said to her.

"I wish that you could see that our love is bringing out the dead in me."



I think that we should be together just for old time's sake,

Now the candle's burning out, and the pumpkin's rotting away.

Juliana's blood ran cold. Oh God. Had Danave thought about this? Reaching down slowly, she looked down and searched through the purse she had found in the apartment.

Then her hands closed around something. Curiously, she took it out and unrolled it.

It was a certificate that proofed her graduation from the (whatever state Juliana's from) Police Academy.

She knew that whatever check ups the police station did on her alias would prove clean, save for maybe parking and speeding tickets now and again. But nothing terrible at all.

Trying to control her hammering heart, she handed it over.

"Um, here..." she breathed.
